14/06/2025: A very friendly and welcoming spot, with the charm of a typical Italian local bar/restaurant. The staff were especially kind and attentive, even offering complimentary snacks with drinks. The place was clean, and service was quick and efficient. A great choice if you’re looking for an authentic and pleasant local experience.

14/10/2025: A very bad experience. We were seated at the very back of the terrace, at a rickety table, under broken decorations that were in danger of falling. The welcome was cold, almost contemptuous, and we can't help but think that this treatment was linked to our appearance. This feeling of exclusion and discrimination is unacceptable, especially in a place that is supposed to welcome everyone. Avoid.

07/08/2025: A family-run inn serving excellent traditional Chinese cuisine. The restaurant has remained unchanged for at least 30 years, as has the truly high-quality food and the same management. Highly recommended. Kudos to the family who runs Dong Au.

31/08/2025: For goodness sake...never again!!! I had the TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE of trying their terrible focaccia and their TERRIBLE DESSERTS!!! The focaccia was REALLY DRY, definitely FROM THE DAY BEFORE, even STALE! The taste was not even remotely passable; in fact, it was anything BUT GOOD! LET'S NOT MENTION THE desserts! Let's draw a veil over the desserts: for anyone who wants to try an EXCELLENT SACHER, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LENZINO PASTRY SHOP, A FEW METERS AWAY! Here, however, the Sacher is truly pitiful, horrible, and embarrassing to say the least! Well, what can I say, LET'S LEAVE THE FOCACCIA TO THE LIGURIANS, winners of BEST FOCACCIA awards for GENERATIONS AND GENERATIONS! For example, here in Nervi, we have the award-winning PAOLIN BAKERY, which has been making REAL LIGURIAN FOCACCIA since 1953! Who can speak better about Ligurian focaccia than them??? And then again, we have Andrea Lupis's Le Palme Bakery, winner of the 2022 gold medal for baking! They definitely MAKE REAL LIGURIAN FOCACCIA, the kind passed down from FATHER TO SON FOR HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF YEARS! I absolutely recommend you go there if you want to enjoy excellent Ligurian delicacies; they're also kind and friendly! Here at SVETLANA, however, courtesy and kindness are NOT the norm, and give way to ARROGANCE AND RUDENESS, as I and many others who commented here, complaining like me, were treated! IF I COULD GIVE THIS ZERO STARS...but I can't!!! Bye 👋🏻

22/11/2025: I ordered the anchovy appetizer, 16 euros for a can of anchovies!!! I took some Maalox to help with digestion!!! Beautiful place, but that's all.

11/11/2025: I had a "Portofino" pizza without prosciutto, and it was really good, no complaints there. The place is very cute and reflects the atmosphere of the port, and the staff is very kind and helpful. I liked the fact that the pizza menu also offers the option to create your own pizza with your favorite ingredients. It's original and useful! I'll definitely be back; I had a great meal.

06/12/2025: Tried it for lunch. The prices were reasonable, and the dishes were simple but tasty and well-prepared. Perfect for a business lunch break at a reasonable price while still being satisfied with the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back.

05/12/2025: The experience was beyond description: sloppy service, to say the least. I ordered two first courses and two second courses, and only one first course and one second course arrived. After pointing out that one first course was missing, they told me they had run out of what I wanted. If I wanted to order something else, I settled for the cheese focaccia. After a 45-minute wait, neither the second course nor the cheese focaccia arrived. Obviously, we left, paying for what we had consumed and with half-empty bellies.

13/11/2025: We enter, say hello, no one notices us, so we head towards the inner room, when a very annoyed female voice with the tone of a SS general tells us, "ONLY the tables in the entrance hall and ONLY what's in the display case!" without a hello, good morning, or ciao, before turning away and not paying us any attention again. Maybe it's because I've lived in Spain for years, and I'm no longer accustomed to the typical Ligurian welcome, but we took it and "laughing" we left, remembering the pirates of the alleys, and went to a restaurant in a nearby alley, where we were welcomed kindly, as a public place should normally be! It's a shame because I remember the food was very good, but not good enough to justify the rudeness.

31/10/2025: A pastry shop in Sestri Ponente, a suburb of Genoa—I'm not talking about Via XX Settembre—for a decaffeinated coffee and a ginseng for the modest sum of €6.30, I'm amazed at how certain businesses can maintain a clientele, because at these prices you'd fall for it once and then walk away.

17/08/2025: Quality products, I've tried better value for money... no. The most important thing for a customer is a smile and a good morning, which everyone appreciates, but the owner lacks this, I honestly prefer a smile and less aloofness. On the contrary, the sales assistant was kind, in a less than relaxed environment, that was my perception.

29/11/2025: A pleasant afternoon break after a lovely stroll along Via Sestri. Lovely both in winter and summer, close to Villa Rossi, gelato and a stroll... Perfect. I tried Pànera for the first time. Excellent.

14/10/2025: Excellent gelato shop with a variety of flavors, including rice milk. "Old-fashioned" gelato, to sum up the quality of their products. Also recommended for vegans. Long live gelato, long live gelato shops!

15/10/2025: On the receipt, they increased the prices of all the items I ordered compared to the prices displayed at the counter. Maybe because I sat at a table, but nowhere in their establishment does it say "price increases if a customer sits down." With the old management, everything was always fine, but now the quality of the coffee shop has dropped significantly under the new management.
