30/08/2025: Very good pizza, taken to go during peak traffic, made quickly. Delicious, I recommend it.

27/08/2025: The pizzeria is somewhat hidden away in a small square; it's very cozy, has a great atmosphere, and we wanted to try the gluten-free pizza, which tasted absolutely delicious. It was also very reasonably priced and the service was friendly. We'd love to go back!

19/05/2025: Era un po' che non ci andavo ma c'ero stato anni fa, ieri partecipato ad una comunione quindi bella occasione per tornarci. Il locale è grande ed accogliente, il personale gentile, si mangia bene, porzioni generose e bene anche il servizio nonostante la confusione. Unica nota i bagni, sarebbero veramente da risistemare. Almeno una pulita ed una imbiancata, muffa e ragnatele in abbondanza. Peccato, avrei dato 5 pallini

19/08/2025: The staff is not at all pleasant. We waited a good twenty minutes for our food, even though I only ordered bruschetta. The bruschetta is quite expensive for its very disappointing quality: three slices of bread that aren't crispy at all, with a few tomatoes that don't even cover the entire surface. The dishes in general are far too expensive for what they offer. Another very disappointing point: we paid €3.50 per carafe of water, without this being specified. We had indicated that we wouldn't have a drink, and were simply told that water would be brought back. We were then brought two carafes, then a third, thinking it was a free service. At the checkout, a surprise: €3.50 per carafe, or more than €10 just for water. Frankly, we are very disappointed by this experience and will not be returning.

03/09/2025: Sadly, our experience here was rather inhospitable. We first sat in the “no self-service” zone and waited 20 minutes for a waiter. After watching two other customers take their coffee and food out by themselves to sit in the area next to us, we decided to do the same. The customer service inside was no better. The man speaking with my wife was unfriendly, and we got the impression that foreigners are not particularly welcome. After ordering 2 cappuccinos, a ham and cheese croissant, and 2 cornetti (which tasted at least a day old), the waiter finally came and addressed us in a rather unfriendly manner in Italian. We tried speaking English, but he left in a huff. It seemed like he was complaining about the service charge, but with 5 plates, where else were we supposed to go? I tried explaining the situation again inside, but they just shrugged it off and looked at me with clear disdain. All in all, it was not a pleasant experience. Boccia across the street is much nicer—with better coffee, service, and food. Would not return to Café Defilla.

28/08/2025: We came to this place for a hot tea, and sat inside due to the bad weather. After about ten minutes, we asked a staff member how long it would be before we could order, and he responded rather rudely. After another ten minutes, we left without having ordered anything. Terrible experience.

04/09/2025: The delivery sucks 1 hour for 2 chalafan and 2 bottles of coke from the restaurant in via Malaspina practically on foot and practically 10 min.... Never again 😤😤😤😤

27/08/2025: Very nice place, recently renovated, soft atmosphere with fusion music in the background that doesn't hurt. Fast and punctual service, very good food 😋. Recommended.

25/07/2025: A very nice and well-kept place, although a bit small, but welcoming. The staff is very kind and friendly, with quick service. They also offer a few hot dishes, and the bar is excellent. Prices are average.

Very delicious, great price, friendly staff, comfortable seating (both for eating in and waiting to pick up your order). Also got to see how the pizzas were made - overall great experience, and came back for more. 😊

11/09/2025: An excellent dinner with simple ingredients, beautifully prepared and presented! The atmosphere is refined, elegant, but not stuffy. The young chef Mattia Pecis and his team are excellent. The service was also excellent. Highly recommended!

08/08/2025: I often go to the Totò e Peppino restaurant. The pizza is delicious, the babà is exceptional, the best I've ever eaten in Genoa, even the Neapolitan pastiera is very good... Nicola and his daughter are wonderful people, very welcoming, (they make you feel at home)... there's the nobleman (I don't know the name) always very friendly, well dressed and elegant... Excellent fish. Highly recommended restaurant.! Special compliments to Nicola for the management and the rest.

23/07/2025: Великолепный ресторан . Впервые побывали в нем в 2018 году , остались очень довольны. И вот вернулись снова . Были компанией . Обслуживание отличное . Блюда у всех были приготовлены вкусно , подача красивая, порции большие . Посещали как в обед , так и на ужин , все безупречно . Ценник приемлемый.
