29/06/2026: A place that turns lunch into a sweet treat. A small, quaint restaurant near Prato (GE). On the road to Ferriere, the restaurant is located on the ground floor of a family home. Da U Vittorio... Simple, well-kept, intimate. The exterior of the restaurant is rustic. The interior, however, is a little gem. The small dining room features wooden tables, set with lime-green paper placemats and small vases of flowers. The walls are adorned with paintings and shelves with wine bottles. All this creates a familiar yet elegant atmosphere. You can have lunch or dinner outside on the veranda, enjoying a bit of cool air on summer days. The restaurant is ideal for both informal business lunches with a fixed menu of €13.00 from Monday to Friday. And for events. Saturday and Sunday with an à la carte menu, with three menu options. Good food... Small One flaw... if I'm being honest... The portions are a bit small (when a dish is good, it's always too little 😂) But they're both visually and palate-pleasing. 😋 We had 2 tagliolini with cheese...excellent 1 roast with fries 1 veal with tuna sauce and fries 1 pistachio panna cotta 1 slice of torta della nonna (cream and pine nuts) 2 coffees 1/4 bottle of wine 1 500ml water €38.00, more than fair Highly recommended

23/11/2025: Not good My daughter is lactose intolerant, and despite our comments, there was cheese on her plate. I recommend you reconsider your vegetarian option because it was inedible, a thousand ingredients thrown into the piadina, tasteless and lacking any flavor. Impeccable service.

29/03/2026: It was an experience I won't repeat. The food wasn't to my liking, but it was still decent. The hospitality and staff were excellent, polite, and friendly, except for the wait. Ordered at 8:30/40 PM, food arrived at 9:40 PM.

Forth star could've been there if the welcome was more warm, took 12 minutes to offer us a drink on a very warm day, with a young child. Also more options on the menu and make more effort to offer a nice spot would be appreciated, even if we arrived a bit early.

18/04/2026: A little oasis of Genoese authenticity, one of those places that MUST be preserved forever. Everything is delicious, from the pesto to the farinata to the sensational fried foods. The staff is friendly and the prices are still reasonable. Definitely go there.

28/04/2026: I wanted to try Mariuccia's new management for a Sunday lunch with friends and family. The place has a new, clean and attractive look. The staff is extremely kind and attentive. The dishes are decidedly delicious, featuring quality ingredients, modern presentation, and original pairings. The wine list is impressive. The prices are reasonable. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I haven't tried the pizza yet 😉 But I'll be back soon.

21/03/2026: A small but convenient place for a quick and healthy lunch. I tried the protein burger, which comes with fries, but I opted to swap them for vegetables. The burger is quite large, packed with fresh ingredients. For a satisfying finish, I tried a pistachio cream cookie. The prices are excellent, and the staff was very friendly and fast.

21/07/2026: I've always had positive feedback about this place. My recent experience made me change my mind. I asked if the air conditioning worked. They said yes, but when we got to the basement, only the fans were working... And it was very hot. Even the sushi I ordered was warm. The sashimi, instead of on ice, was in a puddle of water... I'm sorry it went down that way. But I don't think I'll be back again...

13/07/2026: Absurd to say the least, I even felt terrible eating! It was nothing like other sushi places, and the service needs a major overhaul, as the waiter even turned off our fan when he served us.

05/08/2026: Gastronomic research is a delicate balance. Innovation is an art, but when technique takes precedence over emotion, you risk losing what makes an experience truly memorable: pleasure. I chose the tasting menu expecting a narrative, a common thread that would accompany the diner from one course to the next. Unfortunately, I didn't perceive this. I found the dishes very disconnected from each other, lacking the progression that, in my opinion, represents the very essence of a tasting menu. Of seven or eight courses, only a couple truly convinced me, and two others were enjoyable. The remaining ones, while demonstrating clear technical research, seemed more like exercises in style than memorable dishes. Much construction, less substance. The portions were extremely small, often accompanied by rich sauces. So much so that, with a certain irony, I can say that we were more satisfied with the bread than with the menu itself. For a dinner costing around €270 for two, this is a detail that inevitably weighs on the overall rating. The wine list also surprised me: not finding a Gewürztraminer among such a caliber selection was a choice I struggled to understand. So I opted for another option, which, however, didn't quite meet my taste. The service, however, deserves a positive note. The waiters proved knowledgeable, competent, and very effective in explaining each dish, contributing professionally to the experience. I've been fortunate enough to dine at numerous Michelin-starred restaurants, in Italy and abroad, exploring very different cuisines. Precisely for this reason, I believe the most important question is: would I go back tomorrow? The answer is no. And I believe that, ultimately, this is the most honest summary of my experience. An ambitious cuisine, certainly, but one that, at least for me, ends up prioritizing complexity over emotion. When research becomes an end in itself and the desire to amaze surpasses the desire to make the diner feel good, the risk is that the memory lingers more in the construction of the dish than in its flavor. And that's exactly the feeling I left the restaurant with.

21/07/2026: A pleasant discovery, hidden by the sea. This restaurant is worthy of its Michelin star. The cuisine is excellent, although we believe the order and sequence of the dishes could be slightly revised to offer a more fluid version. However, the quality is top-notch and the attention to detail is remarkable. We'd like to compliment the service, as we felt pampered and at ease from the first moment. All this is complemented by this stunning seaside location. Food, seafood, and good wine made for a perfect evening.
