12/07/2025: We dined outdoors, on the terrace overlooking Fontane Marose. The special pizza (Calogero) was very good. The staff was friendly, but the service wasn't attentive, perhaps because it was a weekday and we'd had a late dinner. They didn't ask if we'd like a coffee, dessert, or anything else afterward. The prices seemed fairly average for local restaurants: about €15 for a slightly rich pizza and about €10 for a cocktail.

06/07/2025: I’ve been coming to this restaurant regularly over the past few years. The food and overall experience have always been excellent. However, today I was extremely disappointed. While looking at the vault room, I was rudely addressed in Italian by a member of the service staff and told to leave immediately. Unfortunately, this kind of behavior is unacceptable — and for me, this was the last visit

19/05/2025: Small, beautifully designed restaurant, basically only locals... service a bit rude, always served with a full mouth, bread served at least from the day before... pasta more like packets, old recipes rather half-heartedly executed... we thought: here is some honest Italian cuisine... nop, but everyone has different expectations.

17/05/2025: A nice little restaurant with a lot of young people. It's a popular restaurant, as we could tell from the reservations. The specialties focus on Tuscany, which we wouldn't have expected in Liguria. We had the chance to try tripe in tomato bread. Of course, the food isn't freshly prepared, but the service was friendly and super fast. And above all: it tasted great. A bit pricey, but within reason.

29/08/2025: I asked for a gluten-free beer, and one of the guys, very kindly and without me asking, brought me some gluten-free Schär cookies, since they offer free chips to share. It was a gesture of empathy that touched me, because we celiacs often feel left out. He also explained that the chips are also suitable for celiacs. Thank you so much for the gluten-free beer and for the special attention: you made this celiac person so happy!

08/09/2025: Not recommended, extremely unfriendly, not very good food, and a very small portion for the price. Unfortunately, we didn't get a pizza at lunch at a pizzeria. We were charged an expensive flat rate for being the only table we weren't given water or bread, and unfortunately, we couldn't order them from the menu either, as the waiter said they weren't available at lunch.

23/08/2025: A favorite hangout spot for Genoese residents and tourists alike. The sea view less than thirty meters away, its location right off Corso Italia, the city's most famous seaside promenade, and its proximity to Bagni Lido, the most popular tourist spot, make this venue, with its outdoor seating, a must-visit, especially for young people's evening entertainment. The ice creams are excellent, the cocktails exceptional. Furthermore, for high school students and those just starting out, the adjacent gardens, filled with pittosporum, make summer evenings romantic and cool. It's definitely worth a try, and its decades-old charm is well worth it, even though recently some groups of overly lively young people have attracted the attention of the police, ruining the evenings of those who, for the most part, were there to enjoy themselves.

06/08/2025: Potessi metterei una valutazione ancora più alta di cinque pallini. E’ un ristorante fantastico con personale preparato ed accogliente. Sapori tradizionali, ma anche innovativi e pensati come il risotto al pesto e gamberi. Un classico i pacchetti e le trofie. La cotoletta un must anche se al mare! Tutto superbo dalla A alla Z!

02/08/2025: Ci sono stato diverse volte in quanto piace alla mia compagna. Per me come quello che ha preso il posto al Pitosforo con Portofino non ci azzeccano nulla nel modo piu assoluto. Sono dei brand ,fumo tanto arrosto molto poco. Piacciono a questa nuova tipologia di clientela......di burini. Fossero in grado di cucinare e,soprattutto pulire un pesce ai ferri sarebbe gia' qualcosa.

12/04/2025: Rude staff, small and neglected environment. The savory pie was good but the price was absurd, really too expensive for the service provided. I won't go back and I don't recommend it

09/08/2025: Service was very poor, to nonexistent. The male-looking waitress with a military-style haircut and a Rambo headband refused to serve my feminine friend. After 10 minutes of waiting, intense eye contact, and obvious queuing at the cash register, we were skillfully ignored. Not even a "please wait a minute." During this time, we watched her pour ice into our drinks with her bare, dirty hands. Luckily, the fast-food place next door was excellent and much cheaper. We will never visit this pizzeria again as long as this lousy waitress works there.

04/08/2025: A wonderful experience!! A small place where you eat very well, simple and well-cooked. Very good ingredients. The staff is very kind, attentive, and precise. The prices are very fair, well below average despite being right in the center of Sestri. The place is a little dated but clean and tidy. I highly recommend it, we'll be back.

20/04/2025: I read reviews that leave me perplexed. Personally I think the products are excellent. The friendliness, however, is the standard Genoese one. I confirm the difficulty in finding parking. The fact is, however, that in central/eastern Genoa, it remains one of my favorite pastry shops and I return regularly, both to consume on site and for takeaway.

20/04/2025: I purchased some focaccia, but unfortunately the one that was sold to me turned out to be "toasted", in other words I was given some unsold focaccia from the day before. I am aware that nowadays nothing is thrown away and I am the first to support this principle, but I do not consider it correct behavior towards a customer who pays for a fresh product. My experience with this oven ends here.
