17/08/2025: Quality products, I've tried better value for money... no. The most important thing for a customer is a smile and a good morning, which everyone appreciates, but the owner lacks this, I honestly prefer a smile and less aloofness. On the contrary, the sales assistant was kind, in a less than relaxed environment, that was my perception.

12/08/2025: I've had the pleasure of tasting the delicious cakes prepared by this historic pastry shop in Sestri on several occasions, and I immediately fell in love. The fresh pastries are equally excellent and high-quality. You absolutely must try the Mojito cake (or a single portion), which is probably only made in the summer. It's exceptional, perfect, and you can taste the flavors of all the ingredients, perfectly balanced. I love it!!! The owners and staff are always welcoming, friendly, and kind; you can see the passion they put into their work. Undoubtedly my favorite pastry shop in all of Genoa.

09/09/2025: Da Monica: A great find in Cicagna! I was passing through Cicagna and, looking for a place to eat, I stumbled upon this diner. I was a little confused at first, because at the entrance I saw a counter selling fresh pasta. But once I found the right entrance, I discovered the true heart of the place. I tried the ravioli with meat sauce and I must say the quality was truly excellent. The ravioli were incredibly fresh, the meat sauce flavorful, and the portions were generous. My only small complaint, which doesn't affect my overall rating, concerns the oil, which, in my opinion, wasn't up to par with the deliciousness of the ravioli. The service was very quick, and my dish was served piping hot in no time. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The only thing that could be improved is the table layout, which is a bit too close together. Overall, my rating is absolutely positive. The experience was excellent and I intend to return, perhaps with more time, to try the full menu that intrigued me.

22/09/2025: I'm not usually one to praise places, but to shake them from their self-confidence and self-assurance with negative reviews. I've been here a couple of times to see if the kindness and quality of the products, which are also priced the same as elsewhere, were a coincidence. I started with the gelato, then moved on to the granita and a few other prepared treats from the counter. You can tell there's the touch of a true gelato maker here, and from what little I've spoken to them, I'd say they're not from the north, and I'd have no doubts. My compliments for the kindness of the staff and the quality of the products. In my opinion, the best gelato shop in Genoa. Congratulations to everyone.

19/08/2025: For me, one of the best gelato shops in Genoa and my favorite in the area. Given the strong competition in the neighborhood, I'd say it's worth seeking out, even if it means traveling a little further from the sea or the Boccadasse district. This means you'll find shorter lines, but you'll be rewarded with great quality. I recommend tourists try Panera, which here, very rarely, offers both semifreddo and gelato. I prefer the semifreddo, but that's a matter of personal preference. For those who appreciate the flavor of coffee, Panera is a flavor you'll only find in Genoa or some town in the province (but that's not necessarily the case). The prices aren't cheap, as is the case with any other gelato shop these days. Parking isn't easy, but the street is wide and you can park for a few minutes in a double park: it's not civilized, but for a good gelato... :-)

08/07/2025: Everything was great in Draft Pub ! It checks all the boxes. We were welcomed with a big smile, seated right away … the waiter took our order and the food arrived very quickly and well hot ! Maaaaaan the food was amaaaazing … I took Fish and Chips and my wife gnocchi pesto. It was so good that I took another plate, that arrived as quickly as the first ! Thanks to everyone in the Pub we had a great moment and for sure I’ll come back 🙏

25/08/2025: Dining at this restaurant was truly a pleasant surprise. The service was perfect: the owner was extremely kind and professional. The traditional Genoese dishes were well-prepared. Highly recommended.

20/08/2025: A rather dated restaurant that needs modernizing, as it's truly unwelcoming: we went on August 19th for lunch, and all the outdoor tables were piled up as if the place were closed, and there were still Christmas baubles on the shelves in the dining room. Even the owner seems fed up with this job: you can tell by the way he runs the business. The menus are old, dirty, and worn; the bar counter and the cash register at the entrance are a complete mess, even when I was there and the only customer. The water served at the table is bottled glass, filled by the restaurant, but from the taste, you'd think the filters hadn't been replaced in years. The food somewhat salvages the overall negative rating, serving decent dishes, though clearly 1980s-inspired. We ordered two appetizers recommended by the host: the dish of the day, octopus carpaccio on a bed of potatoes, and the "mosciame di tonno," a carpaccio of tuna steak preserved in salt, the old Ligurian way. The dishes were good, even if they were arranged in the same way, with the unusual final sprinkling of parsley. Then we ordered two first courses, which didn't convince us at all: spaghetti with clams and bottarga, which had a dark gray sauce on the bottom, with a rather bland flavor; and linguine with swordfish and arugula, where, however, the arugula was completely forgotten, with the usual gray sauce on the bottom of the plate. But what disappointed me most was discovering that the house white wine was "Marche" and not "Ligurian," truly embarrassing.

25/08/2025: Absolutely amazing – try everything! Come hungry! Absolutely recommend everything! The service is very patient and friendly, even with Germans and their poor Italian. I rarely give it 5 stars.

18/10/2025: We were very satisfied with the pizza and the service. Even without a reservation, we were given an extra table despite the restaurant being very busy, and our food arrived quickly. The prices are fair and the food is delicious; we would come back :)

04/10/2025: Charging 0.30c more to add soy milk to your coffee—we're probably talking less than 1cl of soy milk—is for the poor, but truly poor. Perhaps it made sense 10 years ago, when soy was still uncommon, but perhaps. Furthermore, it's happened twice this morning, and the clerk, holding skates in his hand, forcefully presses his thumbs into the pancakes or other microwaved food to see if they were hot. Everything needs a rethink, especially the low price of 30c for soy. Positive note: Nice atmosphere, but too much of a copy-paste of other similar bars. You may like it or not, but I like it only because something like this is missing in central Genoa.

18/08/2025: This is a trattoria that many years ago embarked on a fantastic journey, a difficult one, but one that is bringing satisfaction to both its customers and its management. The dishes are a sort of exploration of the past with a modern presentation, and the success of this encounter lies in the final flavor. The wine list offers a good selection. The restroom, for me the hallmark of a restaurant, is always clean and tidy. From the service to the kitchen, the all-female team is in command: Signora Barbara, but watch out for the general's mother! She dresses like a lamb, but... Friendliness, friendliness, and helpfulness don't come cheap, and there's plenty of it; the rest is fair game.
