29/10/2025: A wonderful discovery. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was pleasant and quick. Good selection. I recommend the seafood soup: a real treat!

17/10/2025: Pizza is very cheap and very good, fish and pasta are in the €15-20 range, but the portions are really large and everything is delicious. You can't sit outside, and as a vegetarian, you can almost only order pizza, if that doesn't bother you.

12/10/2025: What can I say?...doing a job where I travel every corner of the region...from the most remote mountaintop spot to the busiest city center...I can definitely tell you that finding places like this where the friendly service, the quality of the food, and the value for money are paramount...with the authenticity and simplicity of the service making the taste of the food even more enjoyable and the overall experience that can only leave you wanting to RETURN!...I just want to say..... THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF. I hope you are an example to all those places where the customer is just a number... A habit that has now become too annoying for those who know the value of the word PROFESSIONALISM!

30/10/2025: Strolling along Via San Vincenzo in the heart of Genoa, I stopped to order an excellent and delicious espresso at the stand-up counter in this historic Genoese café and pastry shop. It has indoor and outdoor tables overlooking the street, but it doesn't have a restroom. At this pastry shop, you can enjoy breakfast with coffee, cappuccino, and a wide selection of sweet pastries, cakes, pastries, brioches, croissants, canestrelli, cannoncini, panarelline, pastries, pandolce, and more. You can also have lunch or an aperitif in the evening. The staff was welcoming, competent, professional, friendly, and helpful, and the service was attentive, fast, and well-priced. 14/06/2025: Amazing dining experience! Went for lunch multiple days and stayed at the Eight hotel so were often patrons of the beach club as well. Bilal made our experience truly amazing though. He was attentive, friendly, respectful, funny, entertaining and truly the best server we have ever had, even at our home in the United States! We will always cherish the restaurant and beach club at 8 Paraggi because of Bilal. Best server and service ever. Our whole family loves him!

13/10/2025: A lively atmosphere and a well-stocked place! Jessica, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly knows her products; she's always ready to offer the best advice. There's a wide selection of wines and an interesting selection of spirits (for example, I bought a Japanese gin as a gift!). The aperitif was delicious and top-notch, a well-deserved 5 stars!

13/09/2025: Unfortunately, the service was totally disappointing. We arrived at 7:20 p.m., it was raining today, and we wanted to sit inside. The waiter quickly checked his notes and said there were no more seats inside, everything was reserved, and the only space available was outside under a canopy. The room inside was completely empty at that time. He did nothing—zero effort, for example, to check if a seat was available until 9:00 p.m. It was possible to get one next door without any problems, even without a reservation. What a shame. A very inhospitable experience.

21/08/2025: Stunning location, perfect service... It's just a shame that the fried calamari, 10 meters from the sea, was frozen and of terrible quality... a shame, a real shame 😰

05/11/2025: The food is amazing ! Mussels and the pesto Gnocchi ! The bread on the table coats. It’s a European thing. The prices are so reasonable ! Service is great !

20/08/2025: Yes, it's a village bar. I like the friendly atmosphere, but what really took my breath away was their honey. It's the best value I've found so far. I bought a jar, and after a week I went back and stocked up. See for yourself.

14/08/2025: Excellent home cooking (even for a lunch break), prepared with quality ingredients (rare these days). The coffee is Illy brand... excellent in itself, but I'd add that the owners and Mrs. Francesca "know how" to make coffee (and they take care of the machine's daily maintenance, another rare thing these days, and one that significantly impacts the final aroma). A wide selection of sandwiches is also available. The staff is always friendly and helpful! For lunch and/or coffee... highly recommended. Brenda Piselli

19/11/2025: It's the historic bar in Voltri, exceptional service!!!.....they show a lot of sports and all the football....it's a shame there are so few AC Milan fans🤣🤣

07/09/2025: Excellent beers, they also change every two weeks to try new things. The appetizers (food), on the other hand, are sparse and unappetizing—a shame. The interior is very basic, the outdoor tables are nice.

I've been back several times, and my review hasn't changed... in fact, I'd add the kindness and friendliness of the owner and employees... A word of advice: come here if you want to enjoy a relaxing evening... good food, excellent drinks, and the staff are superb... now I feel like I'm going to a friend's house... thank you.
