11/10/2025: I didn't stay, just had lunch. The food was good, but not too pretentious.

23/09/2025: Four of us arrived at closing time. They graciously offered us a table and we enjoyed exquisite dishes unlike anything we've ever had in Italy. The pasta... impressive, and the veal with boletus mushrooms... speechless. Elaborate desserts, good wine, and even better coffee. Congratulations to the owners and their lucky customers.

21/11/2025: Like it used to be. It's getting harder and harder to find places like this anymore. As a tourist, it's a wonderful experience.

13/10/2025: A lively atmosphere and a well-stocked place! Jessica, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly knows her products; she's always ready to offer the best advice. There's a wide selection of wines and an interesting selection of spirits (for example, I bought a Japanese gin as a gift!). The aperitif was delicious and top-notch, a well-deserved 5 stars!

14/07/2025: We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Hotel Arenzano! What stood out the most was the exceptional cleanliness — the rooms were always spotless, tidy, and well-maintained. We left our French bulldog in the room during the day, and the staff treated him wonderfully — he felt calm and safe. Yes, the hotel interior isn’t brand new, but it’s very well kept and extremely clean, which made the stay very pleasant. The location is great, and the hotel has its own private beach — and the sea is incredibly clean, swimming there was a true pleasure! I really appreciated the free shuttle service that took us from the restaurant to the beach and back. On the beach, you could choose from two complimentary drinks, which was a lovely touch. To be honest, the food at the restaurant wasn’t to my taste, but they didn’t charge us for it, which we found very fair and respectful. Also, the valet parking service is extremely convenient — hotel staff take your car and park it near the building, so you don’t have to worry about it yourself. Overall — a fantastic place, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

12/07/2025: Definitely not a 4-star hotel, but a 3-star one. We had a suite, but it was actually a standard room with an outdated, cramped bathroom. There was a family room above us; you could feel the vibrations when they walked above you, very noisy. The beds were incredibly hard; we barely slept a wink. The staff was friendly, close to the beach, but you could hear all the cars driving by from your bedroom window. The pool was very dated, especially with no maintenance; weeds were growing everywhere. This is simply unacceptable when you're a Grand Hotel.

30/10/2025: Strolling along Via San Vincenzo in the heart of Genoa, I stopped to order an excellent and delicious espresso at the stand-up counter in this historic Genoese café and pastry shop. It has indoor and outdoor tables overlooking the street, but it doesn't have a restroom. At this pastry shop, you can enjoy breakfast with coffee, cappuccino, and a wide selection of sweet pastries, cakes, pastries, brioches, croissants, canestrelli, cannoncini, panarelline, pastries, pandolce, and more. You can also have lunch or an aperitif in the evening. The staff was welcoming, competent, professional, friendly, and helpful, and the service was attentive, fast, and well-priced. 20/08/2025: Yes, it's a village bar. I like the friendly atmosphere, but what really took my breath away was their honey. It's the best value I've found so far. I bought a jar, and after a week I went back and stocked up. See for yourself.

26/08/2025: We visited this place recently and had a great experience. Given the perfect time and proximity, we decided to stop for a quick lunch. The food is good quality, the service is quick, and the price is reasonable—what more could you ask for?

14/08/2025: Excellent home cooking (even for a lunch break), prepared with quality ingredients (rare these days). The coffee is Illy brand... excellent in itself, but I'd add that the owners and Mrs. Francesca "know how" to make coffee (and they take care of the machine's daily maintenance, another rare thing these days, and one that significantly impacts the final aroma). A wide selection of sandwiches is also available. The staff is always friendly and helpful! For lunch and/or coffee... highly recommended. Brenda Piselli

19/11/2025: It's the historic bar in Voltri, exceptional service!!!.....they show a lot of sports and all the football....it's a shame there are so few AC Milan fans🤣🤣

11/10/2025: The best restaurant in Camogli/San Rocco – immaculate cuisine, exquisite flavors, and fair prices. Warm, authentic hosts make this a rare find beyond the usual tourist path. And the best Tiramisu in the world! The less favorable reviews seem to overlook what defines truly fine italian cuisine culture.

11/10/2025: Unfortunately, despite the delicious food, I strongly advise against this place. The reason is the very unpleasant owner. From the moment we entered the restaurant, her expression said it all. She gave the impression that we were bothering her. She wouldn't let us sit at a table with a view because, as she stated, it only seats four, not two. Even though we only ordered tiramisu and coffee, they charged us €4 per person. The tiramisu, while very tasty, was tiny pieces, like half a normal portion. Interestingly, the owner was very nice towards the other Italian diners. We felt very uncomfortable there, and I absolutely don't recommend this place.

14/06/2025: Amazing dining experience! Went for lunch multiple days and stayed at the Eight hotel so were often patrons of the beach club as well. Bilal made our experience truly amazing though. He was attentive, friendly, respectful, funny, entertaining and truly the best server we have ever had, even at our home in the United States! We will always cherish the restaurant and beach club at 8 Paraggi because of Bilal. Best server and service ever. Our whole family loves him!
