10/09/2025: Andrea, Sara, Giovanni, and Fabio are super welcoming and helpful. Top-quality food, delicious Priano focaccia, superb gin, and a very good Rossino drink. Excellent prices.

01/09/2025: We arrived at 12:15 just to be told they open at 12:30, not being offered to look at the menu in the meantime or to sit down somewhere to wait (it was empty). The place is obviously charming, food was ok, very small portions for the price but ok given the location, however the coperto 5€ per person sounds like a scam for a simple trattoria without even proper tablecloths…not to mention there is lots of room for improvement in the service and the welcome.

24/08/2025: I'd like to give it 100 stars, but I can't! Last night I had dinner with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary, and thanks to the wonderful evening, the location, and the dinner, we had a wonderful evening! Excellent food and wine, very fresh fish, and friendly staff. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews that kept us from booking! Some people should do what they know how to do, not keyboard food critics, who probably don't know how to cook a hard-boiled egg! Thank you so much to the owner and our waiter for their kindness! 05/10/2025: I am, or rather, I was, a loyal customer of Trattoria La Regina. Today, after many years, I returned. Unfortunately, they've changed management. My choice today turned out to be completely wrong. For starters, it's located in a place surrounded by woods. I understand that, with a fixed menu, you have to make do with what they serve you. But there wasn't even a single mushroom dish, when at this time of year mushrooms can be found even in the middle of Via Venti. The food was good, but the quality/price ratio is absolutely out of line. The portions are small, the prices are high. 2 appetizers, 3 first courses, 2 desserts, 2 soft drinks, 1/4 cup of house wine, and a coffee, for the modest sum of €80. It seems normal to you, but not to me. Absolutely not recommended, and you'll see, I'll never go back. Goodbye, the good old days of generous portions and REALLY LOW prices!!!!!! NOT AS WRITTEN ON THE SITE.

12/11/2025: Extensive à la carte menu, several off-menu daily specials, and a business lunch menu at a truly attractive price and generous portions. The owner and chef are knowledgeable and courteous, and the cuisine is simple, using consistently fresh, high-quality ingredients. Friendly waiters. What more could you ask for? The only flaw is the decidedly neglected bathrooms, but they had to have a small flaw.

26/11/2025: Every time I go there, I have a great experience. The staff is very polite and friendly. The homemade food is plentiful, and the pesto is amazing. I've had linguine with pesto elsewhere, but it was awful in comparison for 18 euros. I've never had a bad meal at Ciclamino.

07/12/2025: Terrible experience. First of all, there's no list of allergens or whether the products are fresh or not. The platters with clams were completely tasteless. My plate had a maximum of 12 clams. One would expect fried fish with more ingredients. No, just shrimp tails and the usual squid. Absurd value for money. And I swear my parents have always had restaurants. So two tagliolini with clams and a fried fish that tasted very little like fish. 1/2 cup wine and water €56.

23/11/2025: For us, it's a point of reference when we come to Liguria. The atmosphere is close and familiar. Mrs. Ilaria is always very kind, it feels like being at home. Traditional dishes, very digestible. Even the carafe wine is good.

28/10/2025: Beautiful establishment and well located. It is a 5-minute walk from the beach and a 10-minute walk from the town center. The room is in its original condition (old-fashioned) but functional and very clean. The woodwork has been replaced, which is appreciated. We were on the garden side, so it was difficult to appreciate the soundproofing. The staff is very professional, attentive, and available. The breakfast is very good and offers a wide selection. A free automatic coffee machine for residents is available all day (which is appreciated). Parking is available about a ten-minute walk away. Having found a space a 2-minute walk from the hotel (visit at the end of October), I cannot give an opinion on the parking offered by the hotel. Very nice experience, we recommend this establishment.

18/11/2025: Simply fantastic, an old-school Italian breakfast, but vegan. A great selection of vegan brioche and cornetti, and all kinds of plant-based milk available. I've really missed this!

23/10/2025: We absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant! Based on the excellent reviews, we ordered tagliatelle for lunch. The tagliatelle was completely overcooked, the sauce was from last week, and the bacon bits were of the lowest quality. The price was very high for what we received. The excellent reviews are not from people who actually ate there. This place is a disgrace to Genova. Avoid this place at all costs!

10/11/2025: The food is absolutely delicious. I love the vongole pasta, and the fried dishes aren’t oily at all. The tiramisu is rich and creamy. The waitress is very nice and polite, and the atmosphere is beautiful when sitting outside.

11/09/2025: We stop here while cycling from Genoa to the Turchino Pass, Capanne Marcarolo, Praglia, Campomorone, and Genoa. The place is clean and well-furnished, with an outdoor veranda. The food is good; they serve both a bar, ice cream parlor, and a trattoria. The owners are very friendly, and the prices are fair. I highly recommend it.
