19/06/2025: We were suggested this restaurant from a lovely lady at another restaurant which didn’t have enough on the menu that our family would eat, not really fish eaters. Best meal we have had in Italy in the past 4 weeks. This place is amazing food, staff and value. We don’t need fancy decor we just need good food and this place has it in spades. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu as it was in Italian, we ordered the most beautiful rigatoni with meat sauce, spaghetti with spicy and ravioli with meat sauce, pepperonata and aubergines and salad. Everything came out fast and tasty! Loved it all. And when the bill came I questioned it all the way back to the apartment as it didn’t seem anywhere near enough! Highly recommend eating here if you want authentic meals with none of the frills just good service and a great space.

La trattoria offre sicuramente una tra le soluzioni più economiche di Genova in un' atmosfera molto familiare ideale per mangiare bene in pausa pranzo o da turista senza dover spendere cifre astronomiche. Tovaglie a quadretti, personale gentile, menù dalle poche portate ma buone cucinate in modo casalingo. In questa trattoria ci deve andare chi sa cosa cerca e sa che può rinunciare ai fronzoli in nome dell' autenticità. Consigliato!!

23/05/2025: One of my favorite places in Genoa, every time I'm in Pegli, I stop by for a nice snack. You can breathe a magical atmosphere, delicious dishes, enchanting garden, scented flowers and super kind and helpful staff! 🫶🏽

06/05/2025: A quiet corner above the hill, surrounded by greenery and away from the bustle of the city: Ostaia al Richetto is the perfect place for those looking for good food and tranquility in a genuine and relaxing context. We started with an asparagus pie with cheese fondue, delicate and tasty, followed by a fragrant focaccia with olive pâté. The first off-menu of the day was really interesting: potato and green bean ravioli with pesto, a simple but well-executed dish, which enhances the Ligurian tradition. For dessert, some chose chocolate cake and some chose apple pie. The latter seemed a little cold to me, and - a completely personal idea - I think that at room temperature, perhaps accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it would have been even more pleasant. An affectionate reflection, not a criticism. The staff was friendly and helpful, with advice that was sincere and appreciated. The equally friendly chef has added a human touch that makes the experience even more pleasant. Normal prices for simple, sincere cuisine immersed in nature. Recommended for a slow and quality break, away from the confusion.

02/05/2025: A well-known and traditional tavern, with good food and some important imperfections. The gurnard dish in its broth at sixteen euros would have been correct if there had been a more substantial quantity of meat in the broth. Of this however, there was very little. The service was friendly, pleasant but imprecise: I ordered the steak which arrived rare. Luckily I like it that way (cooked to the outside two millimeters, the nice thick slice was otherwise really raw), but no one asked me the degree of doneness. Kindness, still good food and correct price are worth the pass but the hen shouts for revenge.

19/06/2025: Pasta Street is a wonderful place to be. We went with our three children and we appreciated the excellent quality of the food (10€ pizza and delicious pasta) and the great hospitality of the owners. Excellent location. I highly recommend it.

14/06/2025: We received a warm welcome, and a table was immediately prepared for us. The staff was friendly and patient. The food and drinks arrived quickly and were delicious. The gnocchi and, of course, the pasta Genovese are highly recommended.

20/06/2025: Pleasant trattoria with excellent Genoese food Good choice of wines..I recommend stewed stockfish..the old fashioned way… Honest prices.. I highly recommend in this torrid summer..!!!

24/06/2025: A historic place of Genoese nightlife, you can meet anyone! With serenity, even if you arrive alone, you can end the evening in the company of new or old friends. Prices slightly above average but quality is paid for and so is the service, always punctual and kind. I have been frequenting it all my life and it is the favorite meeting place of Genoese professionals but also actors, singers, painters and poets. A timeless corner

29/06/2025: Poor selection!! I chose the restaurant based on the pictures posted, by chance they don't have such dishes anymore, Maybe it was years ago. There is no menu card in the picture. The staff was nice and polite.

28/06/2025: Trofie al pesto: delicious!!!😍 I went for lunch with my husband and son. The place was welcoming and the waitress in the dining room was very kind and attentive.

16/06/2025: As soon as we arrived we were immediately struck by the welcome of the owner who was at the cash register. Even though there were still free tables outside, he seemed annoyed to give us the table even if we had not booked. Completely frozen fish, both grilled and soup. Questionable quality and not even a goodbye greeting. Hospitality like a finished rice cake

12/06/2025: Small and typical environment of "real" places. Home management. Very generous portions, very good and good prices. Possibility of doing the fixed price menu at 14 euros (first course, second course, side dish, water and cover charge). First courses at 7.50 euros each, second courses at 8 euros. Everything really good. Recommended!!
