05/03/2026: Restaurant - pizzeria with fresh meat and huge variety of dishes for meat lovers 🥩 Expensive compared to competitors (59€ for one-dish meal with drinks for 2). Attentive service, local atmosphere. Wooden 🪵- dark interior design. Spiedone di Maiale definitely worth trying - meat on a vertical stick. Some fatty bits but fine. Pizza del Dragone average - too much rucola on top and for 14€ should be more attractive in taste. Aperol Spritz - excellent! 🍸 2 small potatoes for 5€ - no comment 😅 Place for meat lovers only. All in all ratio prices to quality not very good. We didn’t eat a lot but paid nearly 60€. Size of meals rather small as for Italy. The atmosphere is not super cosy and the seats are not super comfortable either. I expected something better.

07/02/2026: Intimate, welcoming, relaxing atmosphere, attentive but not intrusive service, professionalism, expertise, and kindness. Excellent food: balanced flavors, fresh ingredients: spaghetti with local scampi, rossetti fritters, oysters... soft, fragrant homemade bread. Excellent wines. Amazing desserts... excellent value: worth every penny!

30/12/2025: We chose to dine here, choosing among the various options in Chiavari, and we were very satisfied. The pasta was cooked to perfection (with scampi and rossetti), and the zuppa inglese was fantastic. The owners were very welcoming, and the prices were average.

01/03/2026: Very thin pizzas with a dough that tastes like a mix between a Frisbee and a dry piadina. We ordered a rustichella (speck and gorgonzola) and a diavola. The former was decent, the latter really nothing special, with almost no mozzarella. Friendly service, but the tables were very crowded, cramped, and not exactly spotless. Considering the atmosphere, they charge way too much. I wouldn't return. Rating: 6-/10

17/02/2026: There's little space between tables, but for an exceptional pizza like this, it's worth it: shallow, very shallow, and wide, topped "according to the seasons" with every goodness and with great professionalism... it's been my favorite pizzeria for a few years. Given the crowds, I recommend booking.

31/01/2026: This trattoria is surrounded by a beautiful lawn with a children's playground and ample parking. Inside, a spacious and welcoming dining room with a lovely central fireplace. The food is good, featuring classic country fare (polenta, fresh pasta, mushroom and wild boar sauce, braised meat, vegetables, and more). The desserts are excellent.

04/01/2026: The review I never thought I'd write... The brioches remain, in my opinion, the best in Genoa. The service has become worse than any seedy bar in the historic center. If those in charge allow a rude and inadequate young woman to ignore a customer, to refuse to serve him simply because the customer, after the fourth instance of disrespect, reacted by asking the owner to intervene... then the famous "Mantero Style" goes to hell. I will clearly never set foot in the bar again, and I don't think it will be a great loss for a bar that works so hard... in fact, it will be a victory for the gang of rude women who run it: the defeat of one of the last bastions of courtesy and professionalism we had in Sampierdarena remains. How bitter.

26/12/2025: Fabulous croissants!!! I love the cream brioche ❤️! Superior quality! The staff are always super helpful, kind, and patient 🥰🥰🥰!!! When I go to my mom's place in Sampierdarena, breakfast is a must (actually, going to mom's... it's almost an excuse to have breakfast at Mantero's!!)! Compliments to ALL the staff... managing everything quickly isn't easy, even if some people (fortunately, a few)... don't always understand!! Congratulations again and thank you for opening this "little salon" on Via Cantore!

18/03/2026: Historic pastry shop in Bolzano to, renovated, and I have to compliment the owner Francesco on renovating the place with a new look. The cakes and pastries are beautiful! Tasty! And delicious.

22/02/2026: We went in to sit at a table and have two coffees with cream and cinnamon, a bacio di Alassio. The table was dirty with other people's crumbs, no problem, but they didn't think to clean it up. They didn't serve the cream with cinnamon, but with cocoa. It wasn't a bacio di Alassio, but a bacio di dama, which at least we had changed. Bathroom...the inside bathroom door was slightly off-center and therefore couldn't be closed, and there was no way to lock the outside door. Fortunately, no one came in in the meantime. Good coffee and normal cream. Nice place, but...

Spectacular views of the valley await you, as you savor flavorful dishes and time-honored recipes, such as appetizers with cured meats, vegetable pies, and other delicacies. Hand-crafted first courses include ravioli with ragù and pansoti with walnut sauce, followed by tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, lasagnette, or trofie with pesto. For main courses, the house specialty is a rich Italian-style fritto misto, enough to feed two. 23/02/2026: A genuine, no-frills restaurant in the heart of Genoa. Attentive and friendly service, authentic and very, very good food. It's always packed with Peruvians, which speaks volumes about the authenticity of the food. Don't expect fancy decor, just lots of goodness and authenticity. Bravo!
