21/09/2025: The cuisine deserves an A+, the only flaw is that the dessert is not up to the standard of the other dishes which are superb, the minestrone and perfect ravioli… roast beef, and meat with peas… spectacular… we ate inside the restaurant which was consequently a bit noisy, but we are waiting for the next nice season because in the garden it must be a spectacle.
07/09/2025: I was there yesterday and it's a really nice place, with fair prices and friendly people. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Highly recommended.

01/12/2025: A very welcoming atmosphere, excellent and plentiful traditional Ligurian dishes, very fair prices.
The only negative, for which the owners are not responsible, is the directions, which suggest a difficult route, even though there is another more accessible one.
21/10/2025: If you want to eat authentic Genoese cuisine, you can't miss this place! The food is delicious and plentiful. The dishes are generous and the quality is excellent. The atmosphere is super cozy and the wonderful Marcenaro family makes everything welcoming and intimate. Highly recommended, but definitely book in advance! And then work off the energy with a stroll to Madonna del Monte with a breathtaking view of Genoa!

23/11/2025: An impromptu Sunday lunch without a reservation, just for me, at a classic Chinese restaurant with an à la carte menu, like all the others used to be (thankfully, no all-you-can-eat). The dishes were excellent, carefully prepared, and reasonably priced, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming, as was the service. Conveniently located near Brignole station, we'll definitely return, but reservations are recommended.

03/10/2025: Every aspect of the evening was amazing. Our hosts took such good care of us and the food was extraordinary. We love Italian food. The from pasta Bolognese made perfectly to mussels in wine sauce and spaghetti vongole... Everything was great. But the crown was the special pasta with truffles made in a parmesan wheel. I've tried this dish at many restaurants, but now I understand why it is such a specialty.
Dessert topped it off with tiramisu and a ricotta cake with chocolate sauce.

The portions are generous, the flavors are delicious, and the taste and satisfaction are guaranteed.
The price is within expectations for the location and type of restaurant.
I return frequently and am always satisfied.
08/11/2025: The place is welcoming but a bit cold. The appetizers are good. The ravioli with ragù are tasty, even if the sauce is a bit watered down. The pansoti, on the other hand, are excellent. The main courses, however, aren't particularly outstanding.
But it's worth the trip just to chat with the waiter, Giovanni Battista.
We'll be back.

Confusing service
Food not up to the standards of the historic Genoese trattorias. Avoid.
26/09/2025: We had dinner at Trattoria Pedun, a themed evening featuring paella and sangria. Everything was delicious, but it was a shame the sangria was so small in the set menu.
For future visits, I recommend specifying the quantities included in the price in your communication channels.

03/11/2025: The freshest seafood I have had in a long time! We had mussels, pasta vongole and fritto misto. Everything was simply prepared but with such fresh ingredients, that is exactly what is needed. A lovely waitress somehow managed to run the whole lunch service by herself, everything being served fast, without mistakes to a room full of what looked like happy regular customers. Perfect lunch! Thank you!
10/10/2025: Very tasty, authentic fish cuisine. They have very fine fish dishes. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is authentic. It filled up quickly; we were lucky to get a table; I think a reservation is worthwhile.
