Excellent food, with tasty yet light fried dishes and mouth-watering traditional dishes. The staff is helpful, fast, and very friendly. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended. Fixed price, just €11 per person for a first and second course with side dishes...plus dessert! Generous, homemade dishes and authentic flavors. The fried anchovies? What a sight! The cod? Excellent! The stew? Melts in your mouth! The first courses? It's not homemade pasta, but it's well-seasoned! Friendly staff and private parking! Oh, and I forgot, the desserts are also excellent! I hope I've made your mouth water.

A trattoria overlooking Via Aurelia, with two distinct spaces: a large room on the first floor and a much smaller one on the ground floor in front of the bar/cash register. The atmosphere is simple, but the menu is excellent, catering to both business travelers and discerning tourists. A business lunch cost €14; for around €20, I had a generous mixed fried fish platter (gluten-free) and a portion of roast potatoes. No dogs allowed!

A great alternative to the touristy spots in Santa Margherita Ligure or Camogli. Excellently prepared fish dishes at a more than affordable price. Service by young, truly capable and almost professional staff from the local hotel school.

30/04/2026: This restaurant was definitely off the road but well worth the visit. It's pretty popular so if you get there during the lunch hour be prepared to wait. The food is definitely worth waiting for in the view is absolutely beautiful.
02/04/2026: The trattoria has been run by the Malatesta family for two centuries. Mother and elderly aunt in the kitchen, daughters Mara and her sister in the dining room. The truly excellent local cuisine, the atmosphere, and the family feel, along with excellent value, are unparalleled, so much so that it's worth traveling with my wife from Camogli two or three times a week. A trattoria that's always busy, open only on weekdays and Sunday lunchtime, and not on Saturdays, because the goal isn't to maximize profits, but to support the family. You can feel the beauty of the past, and I hope a place like this continues to exist.
