11/08/2025: Not an exciting experience... the bread arrived 4 slices for 4 people, the quality of the fish was sufficient, for 1 first course, 2 starters, a seafood salad and 2 second courses, 2 beers, 3 waters, almost 160 euros is a bit much... they don't want to turn on the air conditioning when it's 40 degrees outside... well

10/08/2025: Very generous portions and no frills home-cooked style food. Especially the seafood pasta was delicious!

27/05/2025: Typical place, kind and knowledgeable staff, excellent food. Good and well cooked meat. I also tried the pasta with pesto, fabulous. A truly noteworthy pesto! I also recommend the cutlet for lovers of the genre because it is worth it. The desserts are delicious, especially the chocolate mousse!😻

14/07/2025: We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Hotel Arenzano! What stood out the most was the exceptional cleanliness — the rooms were always spotless, tidy, and well-maintained. We left our French bulldog in the room during the day, and the staff treated him wonderfully — he felt calm and safe. Yes, the hotel interior isn’t brand new, but it’s very well kept and extremely clean, which made the stay very pleasant. The location is great, and the hotel has its own private beach — and the sea is incredibly clean, swimming there was a true pleasure! I really appreciated the free shuttle service that took us from the restaurant to the beach and back. On the beach, you could choose from two complimentary drinks, which was a lovely touch. To be honest, the food at the restaurant wasn’t to my taste, but they didn’t charge us for it, which we found very fair and respectful. Also, the valet parking service is extremely convenient — hotel staff take your car and park it near the building, so you don’t have to worry about it yourself. Overall — a fantastic place, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

12/07/2025: Definitely not a 4-star hotel, but a 3-star one. We had a suite, but it was actually a standard room with an outdated, cramped bathroom. There was a family room above us; you could feel the vibrations when they walked above you, very noisy. The beds were incredibly hard; we barely slept a wink. The staff was friendly, close to the beach, but you could hear all the cars driving by from your bedroom window. The pool was very dated, especially with no maintenance; weeds were growing everywhere. This is simply unacceptable when you're a Grand Hotel.

15/08/2025: We came for lunch on Ferragosto, and everything was delicious. We'd been wanting to try this place for a long time, after a friend recommended it to us. We finally got around to it, and it truly turned out to be an excellent restaurant. The food was excellent and plentiful, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and you felt right at home. Highly recommended. I hope to return soon.

15/08/2025: Unimaginable seafood appetizers (fried anchovies and shrimp, cod, baby octopus stew, mixed fried fish, marinated salmon, oysters, and lobster served on a bed of fruit). And then your choice of first or second courses (which I didn't get to order)...

25/08/2025: The place is very nice and well stocked with drinks and piadinas. You can also dine inside. There are several options on the menu, and you can also customize your piadinas to your liking. The owner is very kind and quick with her work; I highly recommend it for a quick lunch! 😄

10/08/2025: A super cozy terrace with a beautiful view over Genoa. Friendly staff, good wine, and a delicious appetizer platter! We definitely recommend it and would love to come back again when we're in the area.

06/08/2025: Mixed feelings. We both enjoyed this little street bistro with a breathtaking view of Genoa, and yet that's the problem. The place is somewhere between a pleasant neighborhood bar where they serve you a "house" beer (which remains to be proven) and a tourist shop that cuts its bills based on the customer's wishes... We're still pondering this, and for now, we say: go there, but don't go there.
