11/07/2025: We spent a wonderful evening outdoors (they even provided mosquito repellent), where both adults and children had a great time; even our 2-year-old had fun with the games provided by the restaurant. The evening featured cuculli, paella, sangria, and crema catalana... All plentiful and delicious!!! Enjoyable live music, friendly, attentive staff, including one vegetarian, and the young, always smiling people! trofie al pesto were really good, as were the vegetable tarts. We will definitely be back again.

11/07/2025: Everything was excellent, delicious paella, very good trofie, cuculli... we had seconds, the savory pies and the crema catalana were also good, as well as the sangria!! Very kind and attentive staff, pleasant live music, in short, a beautiful evening in good company! I highly recommend it, you won't regret it, we will be back soon!! 👍👍👍

29/08/2025: I was there yesterday during a lunch break, the sandwich was awful with woody and raw cabbage and without an ingredient indicated when ordering, the lady very arrogantly said something to herself without the slightest apology... Never again!

18/07/2025: Sehr einfaches Restaurant, aber gute Ligurische Küche Vorspeisen sowie Hauptgericht und Dessert sehr gut die Mama Kocht und Papa macht die Pizza. Da es uns so gut gefiel waren wir öfters dort. Das Essen für 4 Erw. Personen mit Getränke unter 55 € oder weniger. "Gut und günstig" Halt auf dem Land Das Restaurant war immer sehr gut besucht.

12/08/2025: Second visit to this restaurant, on a Tuesday evening, after watching a movie at UCI. Outside, a sign advertises a 15% discount Monday through Friday for those with a movie ticket. We give in and go in. We order at 7:43 PM. Regarding the food: the cutlet was very good, the baked potatoes definitely not up to par; we'd better settle for the classic French fries. The surprise came at the cashier: the waitress informed us that, to receive the discount, we had to pay by 8 PM. It's a shame this rule wasn't stated when we ordered, nor is it written anywhere, let alone in the small print at the bottom of the aforementioned sign! I find this very unfair and recommend greater transparency.

12/08/2025: Excellent beer and perfect fried food, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a Bavarian inn, highly recommended, the staff is helpful and very kind, definitely worth a try if you like this type of food.

15/08/2025: "Little matters" is also my motto, and it was nice to find you open on the evening of August 15th. That's why I give you an excellent rating. My best dish was the dessert! Excellent French rosé wine, and then the atmosphere, which I like, is a bit French and a bit London.

The true star of the evening was the fish: incredibly fresh, expertly cooked, and served with meticulous attention to detail. Each dish exuded balance and authentic flavors, enhanced by a carefully selected wine list, expertly paired by the staff, who guided us on a flawless gastronomic journey. The care with which each course was presented demonstrated passion and expertise. The final surprise was the cake, specially prepared for the occasion: elegant, delicious, and perfectly in keeping with the restaurant's style. A gesture that made the evening even more memorable. The service was friendly and professional, without ever being intrusive. I highly recommend La Bottega del Re to anyone seeking quality, attentive service, and a memorable culinary experience.

17/08/2025: Good morning, a friend recommended a bistro and restaurant on the other side. We ate the cheese focaccia and culatello, followed by the sliced steak. Everything was perfect...very good service, very friendly staff, we had a great time...good value for money...go there with confidence, you won't be disappointed.

18/08/2025: This iconic local restaurant boasts a stunning, almost fairytale-like interior, complete with an indoor grill for cooking delicious meat, the restaurant's signature dish. In summer, the grill heats up the surrounding area, but in winter, it warms the entire place. The view of the mountains and valley is stunning. We had to wait a bit for our food, but the meat made up for it. Recommended!

17/07/2025: Lovely restaurant with delicious food. There weren't many vegetarian options, but the ones that were available were delicious! The mandilli with pesto was especially delicious! The wine was also excellent and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

15/07/2025: Good quality, excellent fish, medium-small portions, medium-low prices, especially at lunchtime. Perhaps the best value in the area.

08/08/2025: We're on vacation in Rapallo, touring Liguria. Genoa was one of our stops, and after asking around, they recommended this place. They make fresh pasta, not industrial-style, and they cook it right in front of you. Takeout is available. We ordered a classic Genoese dish: Trofie al pesto, with green beans and potatoes. Everything was authentic, including the light pesto and the artisanal trofie. Each dish was 5.50, a fair price. I recommend it if you're passing through.

13/07/2025: Excellent gelato shop, with a wide selection of artisanal flavors made with the freshest ingredients. The real star, however, is the panera gelato: creamy, enveloping, with that perfect balance of coffee and cream that makes it simply irresistible. Friendly service, clean and welcoming atmosphere. A little gem you'll gladly return to, especially on hot days. Highly recommended!
