18/10/2025: Yesterday morning my current carer bought a jar of seafood ragù and a jar of pesto alla genovese from the legendary Trofiaio in Piazza Colombo 10 and 12 reds (watch out for the pen!): one better than the other, despite what some say on this website who vehemently maintain that the pesto from Trofiaio is prepared with parsley instead of basil, as required by the specifications for pesto alla genovese DOP.

17/10/2025: I discovered this shop a year ago and I'm very happy with it, lots of choice, everything fresh and of good quality at an unbeatable price.

30/10/2025: We went for lunch. The place is nice, but it's a swanky farmhouse restaurant and it's too expensive for being served with plastic plates and cutlery. Gourmet cuisine in a farmhouse restaurant is ridiculous. €80 per person for "tastes"??? But the most ridiculous thing is that if you want to reserve a table on the veranda, you have to send a deposit, and if you cancel, you lose it. It's not like Cracco was the chef. I'd say this is a place to avoid. Instead, go to Cavi di lavagna al melograno and you'll eat amazing food.

Every detail is taken care of, the authenticity of the local products is respected, but the flavor combinations are refined, interesting, and perfectly executed. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming yet elegant.

The open kitchen is particularly pleasant, while the service provided by the young staff proved highly professional. As for the wine pairings, owner Nadia recommended quality Italian labels. The experience takes place inside a 17th-century stone building, with balanced lighting. Overall, an excellent gastronomic experience. Thank you, we'll be back.

24/10/2025: I was passing through Genoa and while searching online, I saw a photo of this pizzeria's pizzas, which looked "nice." They're a takeout pizzeria, but you can also eat in for self-service. After a bit of a wait, the pizzas arrived: very, very good, living up to expectations. Very good prices: 4 pizzas, 3 bottles of water, and 1 beer for €40. Excellent! I highly recommend trying them!

22/10/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant two days ago, ordering pansoti with walnut sauce, pasta with Luciana-style octopus sauce, and fried fish and vegetables. Everything was truly excellent, with top-quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. Their focaccia is a must! The wine wasn't great, and the service, while very courteous, was a bit lacking in some situations. It was clear there had been some organizational issues, as the gentleman serving us was probably the owner or someone who didn't work in the dining room. Anyway, go!

08/10/2025: A little, well-hidden treasure, one you have to know how to find... and one you won't forget. The place is magical, intimate, far from the tourist trail. The owners are incredible: attentive, unusually kind, and even willing to make the effort to speak French. The food? Refined, fresh, and full of flavor. You can feel the love for the ingredients and the attention to detail in every dish. If I could give more stars, I would do it for this type of establishment. A huge thank you for this timeless moment.

It's a restaurant that indulges the palate with the perfect blend of flavor and Italian culinary culture within a distinctive menu. The first and second courses are delicious, the drinks are exceptional, and the desserts are so delicious and authentic that they risk derailing any diet plan. Every self-respecting Genoese, vegan or not, should visit InFusion, especially for the excellent service and courtesy extended to those who choose, even for just one day, to eat healthy food without indulging in animal suffering. As a vegan, I'm happy and proud to have such a beautiful restaurant in my city, synonymous with and exemplifying ethical and fair cuisine, possible even in a complex city like Genoa. Thank you!
