26/03/2025: We went in to eat something in the evening during rainy weather. The restaurant was a bit empty, but clean, fast service, a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. We received the basket with bread and focaccia and we were offered water. I chose a seafood and fries platter and a grilled/hot plate seafood platter. Both versions were very tasty and fresh! I recommend!

08/04/2025: Disappointment and embarrassment Sunday lunch booked a month in advance but the reservation was lost even though I had called two days before to reconfirm. The two women who answered the phone were totally incapable of managing reservations. Makeshift accommodation on an old ironing board....5 people. Finally, after a long wait, the waitress arrives (the only person who survives due to kindness and friendliness) and tells us that some dishes are no longer available. We fall back on everything else disappointing from the starters to the first courses. Not even a modest mixed fried dish is Sava. Coffee and a bottle of pigato. The bill was 50 euros per person. For what we ate and the mix-up that occurred, it was a real theft. They won't see us anymore .

15/02/2025: I booked a table for dinner by phone, agreeing on a certain position of the table for logistical reasons (pram with child, etc.), but when we arrived the waitresses were blown away, saying that there was a table set in front of that entrance and that therefore we would have to sit in another room (accessible from another entrance). We sit down, after a few minutes a disgusting smell starts coming from the bathroom, so we ask to move, we sit in another room a little further away. The bread (it was previously a highlight, in my opinion) terrible; They only carry one type now and without oil. I also had to ask (several times because they forgot) for the oil and they brought me something not even produced in Italy.. When they took away the plates they dropped them on the table and the oil spilled on my trousers. The wine chosen from the menu was not there and at the time of the bill they had mixed up the table... luckily we noticed it immediately. I would say that the level of service has dropped, perhaps there has been a change in management, but I don't know. The staff in the dining room has certainly changed. The quality of the products also seems to have dropped... What a pity!

24/03/2025: Went there for lunch for a birthday I was amazed from the ravioli which were out of this world then also the pesto lasagna. We didn't take the starters because they also wanted to try the main courses and we were not disappointed. We will be back as soon as possible especially to taste the roast.

20/01/2025: Chalet-style restaurant, located just above Rapallo, a truly beautiful place, surrounded by nature, a beautiful exterior with benches and tables on a lawn among the trees. Animals and games for children. The menu is excellent with typical Ligurian dishes... fresh pasta and grilled meat. Everything is also gluten free. Super recommended!

20/01/2025: Nice place, good first courses, appetizers I haven't tried, second courses with meat I was hoping for better... the dish with a skewer only without a side dish and nothing quite disappointing... fries not good... soft and not crunchy... price not cheap... I would expect more from a restaurant/trattoria of that type..

20/03/2025: An awesome spot for brunches or breakfasts. Which Genova lacks big time. Cozy atmospere and friendly people meeting you. Be advised, tho, that by date the bruch menu lasts only up to 11:30 (AM).

17/03/2025: If you love food and you are in Genoa you can't miss this place! A charming location, very kind staff and dishes that were a sublime journey for the taste buds... I spent a weekend in Genoa for work and I had dinner here twice! I would have liked to stay longer just to try all the dishes on the menu. In the summer, book a table in the square and have a nice trip!

26/02/2025: Un piccolo segreto che si è rivelato una bellissima sorpresa. È sempre una scommessa quando si vede un menu dall'apparenza economica: o le porzioni saranno minuscole, o verrà servito cibo di bassa qualità, o il cuoco non saprà cucinare, o il servizio sarà disastroso… insomma, il classico "dov'è la fregatura?". Alla Caracca, invece, è tutto il contrario! Il menu ha un prezzo giusto, il cuoco sa cucinare e lo fa con gusto, con cotture perfette e in porzioni generose, paragonabili a quelle di un ristorante dove i prezzi sarebbero superiori del 30%. Il servizio è estremamente attento: la signora che lo gestisce conosce bene il suo mestiere e lo svolge con grande piacere, una qualità sempre più rara di questi tempi. Ci tornerò con molto piacere!

13/02/2025: Locale molto carino nella centrale via Entella. Menù che tiene in considerazione i piatti del territorio ligure. Ottimo il fritto di pesce con una fantasia di verdure. Molto gustose le trofie al pesto con fagiolini e patate. Insomma, tutto perfetto. Equilibrato il rapporto qualità prezzo.

31/12/2024: Location suggestiva,con un bel giardino che riprende i motivi floreali del negozio di fiori, ricchi di proposte all' inglese (mug,théière,tisanière e altro). Fra questi due ambienti è situato il bar, lievemente alternativo nelle scelte di fondo - vini biologici, cibo " fatto in casa", tisane naturali - che dà il suo massimo nella stagione invernale.Il servizio è complessivamente buono, con qualche sbavatura che non compromette l' impressione positiva dell' insieme.L' aperitivo è molto curato e originale, in particolare il mojito analcolico quasi indistinguibile da quello a base di alcol. Un locale da visitare soprattutto per il contesto naturale,che si apre in modo inaspettato fra le case del bel centro storico di Pegli.
