The occasion was an Alpine gathering, and since the day was rather gloomy, we holed up at this place for lunch. Even though we didn't book, they were very kind. We had three fried fish dishes, very good, fresh, and not greasy. The value for money was very good, I'd say...we paid the right amount...we'll be back next time...thank you! We had a great time.

Excellent welcome! Don't be put off by the surrounding area (cheap shops, etc.) and go inside! Quick and friendly service, very good food, excellent value for money.

Excellent! I'm Argentinian and I had delicious beef for a great price. I was served by a lovely young lady—attentive and kind! I highly recommend this place across from the port. Beautiful location!

Apart from the fact that the portions are tiny, I have nothing to complain about. But maybe I like to eat more. The food is very good.

Absolutely fabulous, don't be put off by the signs with food pictures(which we were at first). The first lunch we had there was full of locals which in my opinion is a great sign in Italy. A simple menu again with pictures. All fantastic, Octopus in tomato sauce, fried anchovies! Boiled potatoes with green beans, washed down with the superb dry white wine GAVI. I not visit Genoa without calling in here! A real gem overlooking the harbour! I highly recommend the establishment! Top class product for not that much money! Very much substance over style, but I'm very happy! Came back 3 times in one week!
