03/09/2025: Found on Google Maps... returning from the French Riviera... very beautiful and well-kept place... very welcoming and professional service... delicious food... that seafood risotto is simply phenomenal... when we pass through the area again we will definitely stop... I highly recommend trying it

25/08/2025: We stopped a few nights in Varese Ligure and stayed at the historic Albergo Amici. An excellent experience. The atmosphere is reminiscent of times gone by, yet offers all the modern comforts. The hotel and restaurant staff are extremely friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and fully equipped. The restaurant offers traditional local dishes, prepared with care and an innovative touch. The breakfast is generous and suitable for everyone. Reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?

The location is extremely convenient, just steps from the sea and the historic center, perfect for exploring on foot and enjoying the best of the Ligurian Riviera. The property is very well-maintained, clean, and welcoming. My room was bright, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I also had excellent sleep quality: a comfortable bed and a quiet location. Special praise goes to the staff, always helpful, kind, and ready to offer recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and activities in the area. You truly feel at home. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, with sweet and savory options, perfect for starting the day off right. I highly recommend La Caravella to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a well-run, family-run environment. I will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is that of a small, typical Italian restaurant, warm and friendly. We were welcomed with great kindness, and had a great time chatting with the owner, who was sweet and attentive. An authentic Italian experience that I recommend without hesitation!
