08/12/2025: The best acai bowl ever! The menu offers so much, both sweet and savory, from breakfast to snack time. Last time I tried this (for me) new thing, it was nothing like anything I've tried elsewhere, especially abroad. This one from Eldolz is 100% natural, not frozen, tasty, healthy, and filling. Well done!

07/04/2026: After reading several reviews that spoke very highly of it, I decided to book for tonight, Easter Monday evening at 9:30 pm.... First of all, we are VERY GENOESE... Now we are the ones who are "FORESTI" here in Genoa.... We booked about ten days ago for 3 people + a dog... I was asked the size of the dog and I added that it is a 17 kg dog... so medium size.... We ended up at the "CONVIVIAL TABLE" Which: if I had even a minimal understanding of the type of table, in the center of the room; the three of us lined up... in a dog tucked under the stool... With a narrow space and with the waiters who, passing by, more than once, threw "Runsoni" in my back... (Diner table in a horseshoe shape, with all the customers there one next to the other... with the waiters in the center) who "threw" the remaining wine and the remaining water from the carafes of the other diners' tables into the sink (keeping in mind that it wasn't a sink but a real sink) ... and even the pesto wasn't so "Plus ultra" and also the consistency of the gnocchi, they weren't homemade but bought.... In short, for all of us it should be CROSSED OUT.... 1ST AND LAST TIME... NEVER AGAIN!!!!

02/04/2026: The trattoria has been run by the Malatesta family for two centuries. Mother and elderly aunt in the kitchen, daughters Mara and her sister in the dining room. The truly excellent local cuisine, the atmosphere, and the family feel, along with excellent value, are unparalleled, so much so that it's worth traveling with my wife from Camogli two or three times a week. A trattoria that's always busy, open only on weekdays and Sunday lunchtime, and not on Saturdays, because the goal isn't to maximize profits, but to support the family. You can feel the beauty of the past, and I hope a place like this continues to exist.

22/03/2026: I had lunch today at Trattoria Malatesta, a place I'd been to as a child with relatives. Absolutely recommended; everything was delicious and excellent value, with courtesy and customer service guaranteed. I'll definitely be back! I highly recommend booking in advance, as they're almost always packed, especially on weekends.

26/02/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance and had a divine lunch. Fried anchovies, amazing seafood appetizers, spaghetti with mussels, and a mind-blowing mixed fry. All washed down with a highly regarded house wine.

25/02/2026: Ristorante Frantoio has the best sea food in town! It is pricey, but totally worth it!

14/02/2026: I dined at this restaurant two nights in a row. The first night I had a mouth-watering pizza and a farinata appetizer—what can I say? Everything was excellent! The second night I wanted to try the meat, and I have to say it was fabulous, both the cooking and the way it was served, and it was excellent! Franco, the owner, is a wonderful and friendly chef! I'll be back!

23/03/2026: Everything was absolutely perfect. The location is small but charming and very, very beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and offers spot-on recommendations. The food is high quality, the menu is not extensive, which is a plus for me, but it's very special. The prices are a bit high, but you have to pay for quality. 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 dessert, 2 glasses of wine and a water, €100! I'll definitely be back and try more. My partner and I personally wanted to compliment the chef, because it's truly deserved!!!! TOP!!!!
