09/08/2024: Pretty hotel with romantic Italian flair. The hotel management is super nice and helpful. For breakfast there are homemade cakes in many flavors. A quick walk to the promenade.

06/08/2024: Magnificent, beautiful rooms with terrace and private entrance, family and friendly welcome and service. Magnificent cozy terraces with sea view. Beach and bar opposite and Albisola 5 minutes away via seaside pedestrian path. Usually I like to change places and discover others but I will have stayed there and I will return. Thank you Bruno for your good humor and your recommendations

22/08/2024: Every time I happen to cross one of the gates that delimit the walls of Finalborgo, I have the clear sensation of crossing a groove of time, almost as if a sudden race backwards completed a lap on the carousel of years. It therefore seems obligatory for me to go in search of some inn that hides the secrets of the Ligurian culinary tradition, that makes typical local dishes its reason for existing. This is the case of the "Cuattru Canti", a hole in the true sense of the word, a room in which 10 people sit elbow to elbow, reading on a blackboard vaguely in the style of an elementary school, what "the convent passes". From the appetizer to the desserts, a kaleidoscope of colors explodes, as intense as the flavors of the vegetables, the farinata, the generous first courses, the sublime foci. Intense, but balanced, untouched by the usual forcing to capture some rough palate. A healthy practice would be to draw chalk lines on the specialties tasted on the blackboard, so as to try the entire possible assortment. It would take time and frequent visits, which I intend to do, since Liguria shows no signs of disappearing and so does Finalborgo. Until next time.

18/08/2024: Really excellent restaurant located in Finalborgo. The location is small but very intimate and typical. Excellent quality food. We tried the house mixed starter which I recommend. Fantastic desserts: ricotta and fig tart and caramel mousse to try! I would happily return.

20/08/2024: We have been going to this restaurant for some time and it has never disappointed us. Of note (among the things that we personally liked most) are the appetizers and the meat, as well as the fish during a summer dinner. Mention for the summer location, a terrace overlooking the valley below

21/08/2024: A tourist trap, in my experience, as the food was not at all up to par. None of the four fish dishes tasted decently, far from it. The service was slow although, unlike the lady owner, the waitress was at least smiling and gentle.

17/08/2024: Beautifully located restaurant on the waterfront in Camogli, which promises more than it actually delivers. We had booked a table for dinner and we particularly liked the ambience, the choice of food and the professional support of the in-house sommelier in choosing the wine. Unfortunately, the unfriendly, unmotivated and unprofessional service from the waitress Mary assigned to us did not correspond to this level at all. Every time we wanted to order something we had the impression that we were being disturbed. This was all the more annoying because we could observe how other guests at the neighboring tables were being served very attentively and almost exuberantly by the manager of the house, among others. The staff of a restaurant of this class should definitely be of the appropriate standard!

19/07/2024: Restaurant that offers gluten-free options, helpful staff, I found myself a little difficult initially to understand what exactly was gluten-free and what guaranteed non-contamination for linguistic reasons. In general the dishes are good and the space is in a very central location.

05/08/2024: Great choice of craft beers and wines, cheeses from the Ligurian area to try, ditto for the meat... a place where the raw material reigns supreme. Excellent for an aperitif and/or dinner. When you go take a look at the menu but rely on the experience of Alessandro & Valona you won't regret it👏🏻

05/08/2024: This place is perfect for an aperitif or dinner with friends or family. The plus is the wide choice of meat and beers, both of which are sought after. Attention to detail and friendliness. Ah, I'm a vegetarian but every time I get a saucer brought to me! I'm spoiled but only from them I can afford it. It's worth coming. Come in large numbers ❤️

12/08/2024: I was there recently for a wedding but I had already been there other times. The place is very beautiful, for the occasion we ate outdoors and the children had a lot of fun playing in the lawn. As for the food, despite it being a wedding (so many place settings to serve) we ate well, everything was good. Maybe I would have avoided the pesto lasagna in the height of summer but they chose the bride and groom... However those were good too. I recommend it and will most likely return with my family!

02/08/2024: Great midweek dinner! Seafood menu, carefully prepared dishes and fresh fish. Good choice of wines. Very beautiful location, the aperitif in the garden offered by the house was appreciated while waiting for the dishes to be prepared. Impeccable service, prices a little expensive, but if you leave the place satisfied you can stay there. Thank you

13/07/2024: I've given the rooms an average rating because we didn't stay so please don't consider that. The restaurant was lovely - very friendly and fresh. We had lunch outdoors under a sun canopy and I was dizzy with the smell of jasmine. Orriachetti with saffron and courgette flowers was rich and fully flavoured. Fresh raspberry coulis was an ideal topping for the sensually wobbly pannacotta. We had dinner indoors in the refreshingly cool dining room. The wine flowed and we fought over tiramisu.

16/06/2024: The chocolate temple is a true paradise of flavors where you can taste an excellent variety of sweets as well as the kindness of the owners "father and son" Very good and creamy cakes with spectacular seven chocolate and hazelnut layers. Really crunchy and creamy at the same time To the new flavor that was recommended to me Really good and refreshing white chocolate, strawberries and lemon!!!! Congratulations, keep it up and see you next time

02/06/2024: This pastry shop was a discovery for me as I'm not from the area. I tasted a spectacular gluten-free cake and then ordered a delicious three-chocolate cake. The pastry chef is a very courteous and helpful person. I recommend it.
