25/02/2026: We returned to this restaurant for the second time. We were truly satisfied with both the food and the very kind, attentive, and professional staff. They were all young. We ate very well and paid a fair price. The quality was excellent. The first courses were excellent, the meat, and the artichokes. The focaccia with pancetta was a delight. Next time I'll try the pizza because the dough is excellent and it didn't hurt me (I'm intolerant to yeast). I recommend the tiramisu. Even though it was Sunday and the place was packed, the wait was short. I recommend it. I can't wait to go back 💜

31/01/2026: Capocavallo is the result of decades of work. You can tell because the structure is architecturally a collection of spaces constructed with different materials. A kind of fun Tetris game. But above all, there's the courtesy and helpfulness of the owners, who make you feel "at home." The fettuccine dish was the only thing I ate, but more than the dish itself, I liked the elegant simplicity of the table setting. I'll definitely be back.

24/01/2026: The pizza was good, nothing to complain about, the staff was polite, but the only thing that didn't work was that they didn't include the prices of the items ordered on the final bill. When I got home, I noticed that there was still a price difference missing to get to the bill.

30/09/2025: Lovely place. Been around the world and this place slightly reminds me of the wildest places I have been to, but at the same time welcoming like home. The breakfast, all you need to start a good day, is fantastic and available until 10am. Rooms are simple clean, and quite large. I don't think you can ask for more, when looking for a easy going seaside experience on the shores where Odysseus got seduced by Circe, and where the land with its winds and sounds still is capable to bring you in a world far far away. It's quite easy to get the food and the fact that it doesn't run restaurant during every evening, but only near the weekends like on Fridays, is a great incentive to go explore outside the nearby towns. This place feels like family. Explore, and relax in the heart of the agricultural southern Lazio communities, and take your opportunity to reconnect with Nature. --- If only the municipality, the region the Italian State and Europe could invest more in this place redesigning the roads network by removing the "litoranea" and opting for a perpendicular approach by only-walkable paths (like others have done), with large parking far from the sea, protecting the dunes... , cleaning the beach and the swamp more and regulating fisherman terrible practices, the beach and these gifts we have been given would become a true paradise. -- Thanks for hosting us!

06/10/2025: We discovered this intimate and refined restaurant, where every dish tells a story of passion and attention to detail. The quality of the cuisine is exceptional, the plating impeccable, and the service truly expert, always ready to expertly recommend both dishes and matching wines. For our appetizer, we chose a buffalo mozzarella tartare with sparacelle mushrooms, delicate and surprising. The main course was the roasted rabbit with purple cabbage and leek: incredibly tender and flavorful, a must-try. To conclude, two unique and beautifully executed desserts: dark chocolate and raspberry, and salted pistachio with hazelnut, with a truly unique and delicious pistachio frangipane. All accompanied by a fine wine, carefully recommended. An experience that won us over. We'll definitely be back!

29/08/2025: Found it by chance on the way home from Terracina. We bought both the buffalo mozzarella and the buffalo ricotta. Everything was delicious at a reasonable price. The owner was friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back. Recommended if you're passing through.

19/08/2025: YOU MUST TRY THE MOZZARELLA AND RICOTTA!!! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We ordered a kilo of mozzarella, ricotta, and stracciatella. I also asked for two small mozzarella balls to eat on the way, and they gave them to me. What can I say? I don't usually leave reviews, but this place deserves it. The workshop is open to the public, the freshest mozzarella, and above all, the best mozzarella I've ever eaten!!! The price was excellent, too! I recommend stopping by!

21/12/2025: Called today and had a fab coffee and some delicious food. Having just bought a house in Maenza I think we have found somewhere to spend a lot of time.

10/02/2026: Highly recommended! Alessia helped me organize a lunch for 50 guests and it was fantastic! They took care of every aspect of the meal, including transportation in thermal containers. Everything was perfect, even the cake was beautiful and delicious! Excellent value for money!
