02/09/2025: Today's restaurant program was very good. Thank you to the Rasai Indian Restaurant authorities for organizing such a beautiful event. InshaAllah, all our programs in the future will be held at Rasai Indian Restaurant.

02/09/2025: We did a party here last week of around 150 people, everything went so well and the food was amazing😍❤️❤️

16/08/2025: Unfortunately, the gelato didn't live up to expectations. All the flavors tasted the same, and the cone was dry and hard. You can definitely find better in the city! The interior is well-decorated with very interesting paintings.

13/08/2025: Good ice cream, too expensive at €4 for a medium cup, but oh well, after ordering it, I rightly see some tables and decide to sit down, taking some chairs... after 5 minutes, a guy (waiter) comes over and says, "I just stacked the chairs, you sit on them," rudely and impolitely, asking me to get up after saying that the ice cream I had was a "walking ice cream" = IN SHORT WORDS, AFTER EATING THE ICE CREAM I CAN'T EVEN SIT DOWN🤣 Nice place, but rude staff and excessive prices... there are better alternatives.

04/08/2025: A Roman gem waiting to be discovered! Stunning location, a great place for aperitivo with an extensive wine list and cocktails, accompanied by fries and crunchy pizza. If you've never been, go!

04/07/2025: Prosciutto with melon was beautiful, service was nice but unfortunately both my grecia and my partner's carbonara were way too salty to eat. We tried but it really was inedible and unfortunately, we left a little too hungry after having spent €16 for each (other places in the area are maximum €15 for pasta). The waiters were lovely and felt really bad about our experience and they gave us a shot of grappa to have with them. After the 2 waiters spoke back and forth in Italian, clearly trying to work out how much to charge us after we didn't eat our pasta, they only gave us a €2 discount. Not complaining, better than nothing I guess, just disappointing. Thank you to the lovely man who had a shot with us, he made us feel better about our experience

07/09/2025: If I could give zero... The arrosticini were definitely not mutton. The service is lacking; you even have to get up to order food, because there's a "concert." For the same reason, you pay 10 for a beer instead of 6, but the sign says 6. And in all of this, your food arrives without even a tablecloth. Imagine, one person eats while the other watches. I must have counted at least 6 waiters, but nothing, as if they weren't there. Needless to say, the room was full. And then, clearly, if they don't have to take orders, but only deliver and clear away, I'd say six waiters can handle 300 people if you know how to work. The icing on the cake: no receipt. Never, we made six trips and nothing. When asked, especially given the friendliness of the staff, the young lady even got annoyed by the request. If only there were friendly and efficient staff, who cares about the receipt. Oh, goodness. It may be a historic place, but we're no longer in the '90s with plastic tables and black everything. Maybe it worked when you were the only ones there, but now, rather than paying €10 for a beer in a location that looks like a porchetta festival, I'd say there are a million alternatives. But thanks for the tip.

25/08/2025: ON THE VERY CENTRAL VIA DI NETTUNO, THIS KIOSK WAS A PLEASANT DISCOVERY. DRINKS AVAILABLE BOTH AT THE COUNTER AND AT THE TABLES, WITH FAST, COURTEOUS, AND ATTENTIVE STAFF. LOW-MEDIUM PRICES. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

12/07/2025: Devo dire che la pizza è una delle migliori che ho mangiato negli ultimi anni. L'impasto è eccezionale sia per la consistenza sia per la digeribilità e gusto piacevolissimo. Giusto anche il condimento. Veloci e gentili e prezzi convenienti. Che dire, sarò cliente fissa. Bravi!

25/06/2025: Ordinate per la prima volta 3 pizze (bufala e pachina, wurstel e patatine, provola affumicata, prosciutto crudo e pesto di melanzane) e tre supplì (due cacio e pepe, uno amatriciana), il tutto a domicilio. Tutto molto buono, l'impasto è di qualità, la cottura perfetta, i sapori eccellenti. Consegna superprecisa. Riproveremo sicuramente.

21/08/2025: What can I say? The raw fish is incredibly fresh, especially the red prawns, which taste like milk. We ate very well. The girl was super nice, very, very kind. The dishes are prepared with care, all in all, you can see that they work with passion, they love what they do, we come back often.

16/08/2025: "Dal produttore al consumatore" è una tendenza che si sta facendo largo ultimamente nel settore del pesce, mangiando proprio laddove il pescato stesso si vende. Qui si può dunque pranzare o cenare con portate da leccarsi i baffi preparate sul momento, come l'insalata di mare (freschissima e non oliosa), i paccheri o gli spaghettoni della casa ai frutti di mare (presentati nella padella in cui sono stati mantecati, e dove la "scarpetta" finale ci sta tutta!), il calamaro alla piastra accompagnato con salsa al pesto e verdure grigliate, la frittura fragrante servita fumante nella cartapaglia, e dessert come il tortino dal cuore caldo di cioccolato fondente. I giovani proprietari sanno come mettere a proprio agio la clientela, suggerendo il meglio. Prezzi in linea con la qualità, e la qualità si paga. Soddisfazione per il palato! Dal martedì al venerdì, formula pranzo a 12.99 €: 1 primo a scelta fra 2, ed 1 secondo fisso (piatti del giorno). 5 tavoli interni + veranda coperta esterna.

24/06/2025: Amazing ice cream and very good prices, especially with how much you get in a serving. (Image is a dark chocolate grande and was only €4.50) Lovely service, everyone was very friendly. Open late so would recommend trying if in the area.

28/07/2025: Wonderful place, good products, slightly higher prices, but that's okay. It's a shame they repeatedly overcharge and don't even apologize. They pretend nothing's happening. Be careful what they charge you.

30/07/2025: Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Tastefully decorated venue. Food and gin and tonics, in my opinion, are top-notch. I'll be back to try the wine.

25/08/2025: The atmosphere is intimate and warm, exceptionally peaceful; despite the fairly busy road in front, we didn't hear a single car pass by. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and displays a singular passion for his craft. During dinner, he explained in detail the provenance and uniqueness of every single ingredient used in the dishes. Not being a wine expert, I took his advice and, if I could, I would have ordered two more bottles of that wine (a Palombo Bianco delle Chiaie). All this for a price so low it seems like a steal. I've already started recommending the wine shop to everyone I know and will definitely be back; it's worth it to try every dish on the menu.

25/06/2025: Stopped into this restaurant based on the reviews and so glad we did. My wife and I were the only customers inside. The owner took great care of us! He curated the wine list and offered a great recommendation! The food was excellent and the service was even better. I highly recommend stopping in here for some wonderful food and better Italian hospitality!

12/05/2025: I come to Ostia rarely, but when it happens this has become my go-to bar. I recommend it: the environment is quiet and the place is particularly clean compared to the competition. Accurate and meticulously monitored service by Mrs. Monica, who is at the checkout and who I have always found to be smiling and helpful. Excellent pastries for breakfast and tea. Coffee is particularly appreciable, which in these times is no longer something that is easily found with a guarantee of goodness. They tell me that the diner for lunch is particularly good: with a varied menu and excellent quality. I haven't had the chance to try it in person yet, but the office where I go when I come here to Ostia, which is less than 100 meters from the bar, has 6 employees and everyone agrees that since the new management took over (early 2025) this is the place where you can eat the best at competitive prices. The covered veranda with the tables outside the bar and especially the tables in the internal corridor room are worth appreciating. Among the few places where you can calmly have a coffee or tea, even in company, and feel happy without confusion at all hours of the morning and afternoon

08/05/2025: Every day I have both breakfast and lunch and both are the best of whalers, Monica and her husband are two exceptional people, easy-going and friendly. I recommend you eat at their place for lunch or even just try their croissants!
