Mamma Mia In Gaeta

I went there for lunch yesterday with my daughter, I finally found a place in Formia where the search for raw materials is accurate, I congratulate the chef!! The flavor of the dishes was enhanced with simplicity and great skill so as to allow us to savor all the freshness and quality of both the fish and, for example, details such as the pistachio and the Gaeta olive! This is what makes the difference! Compliments also to the kind host who looked after us and made us feel at home, in fact the environment is sober, elegant and refined. Very comfortable. Which, together with the mastery of the chef, are fundamental ingredients for guaranteed success

We were pleasantly surprised by this wine shop which offers few dishes but of excellent quality. The space is limited to a few seats, however widely spaced, the variety and quality of the wines is high, especially if you let yourself be advised by the owner who was generous with us with disinterested advice without ever falling into intrusiveness. We tasted some specialties such as spaghetti puttanesca, bean soup and fried anchovies with olives and spring onion. Everything was well within expectations, not to mention the wine whose choice fell on a local rosé recommended to us by the owner. The cost, for three people, did not reach €60, in my opinion absolutely proportionate to the quality of what was eaten and drunk. If you are looking for a place where you can stuff yourself on the cheap, Mamma Mia is not for you. If you are looking for a place to enjoy simple dishes with high quality ingredients I highly recommend it

Intimate venue. Cleanliness and evident scent. The foods are exquisite. Wine in large quantities. Very low final price.
