21/06/2025: We showed up without a reservation because we were intrigued by the menu displayed, at an unlikely time, on a Saturday evening, in the middle of the summer season and...we were welcomed with kindness, promptness and professionalism by all the staff. Quick service, truly tasty and very fresh dishes. We will return tomorrow!

21/08/2025: It's a nice little place, but the food isn't impressive. The pasta was okay, but the hamburger and fries tasted a bit stale, and the salad was also boring. The wine is a disaster. We wouldn't go back. Service is good.

From sweet to savory, Lucarelli offers all kinds of options; for those with food intolerances, their biscuits without butter and flour, with cereals and chocolate chips are exceptional. Also try the bread with walnuts and taralli. The place is well-kept and the staff is extremely kind: they make you feel at home!

10/09/2025: Horrible place, foreign staff, highly inadvisable for allergy sufferers and celiacs, insane prices: two half-cups of juice and four potato croquettes for €29.10. It's a shame because in front of Santa Maria Maggiore they should be more humane. And of course, tourists are always ripped off everywhere.

10/09/2025: Popped in to grab a pizza on the way back to my hotel; was ignored by the cashier woman despite saying excuse me twice in front of her. Not sure what her problem was that causes such ignorance attitude but recommend the management to work on adjusting the staff’s behaviour, especially those with customer facing jobs. Food was alright, regretted stopping by and ruined my mood.

05/03/2025: It has now become a fixed stop when we are in Fabrica and sometimes we come specifically from Rome. Excellent location, very friendly and welcoming owners but the real leap in quality is the skill of the chef who is exceptional especially in cooking fish. The long culinary experience, gained by Mr. Gianni in the kitchens of Sardinia, gives a unique flavor to very fresh food chosen with care and wisdom directly by the owner himself in the fish shop. Gianni, we talked about it on several occasions, is able to recognize the quality and origin of the fish so that he can always give the best to his customers. I clearly prefer the fish menu which is available in different ways from the starter to the main courses while my wife likes the typical local cuisine and the grilled meat, which is also chosen with particular attention. Even though we often go to restaurants in Rome or in the Viterbo area, for us Gianni and Maria are number 1, so much so that sometimes we even return in the evening for an excellent pizza....... The welcome is familiar.....

09/09/2025: Walking past this restaurant, you might get the impression that it's exclusive and exquisite... It's just an impression. We haven't eaten worse in Italy. 1) We waited less than 30 minutes for our order to be taken. The place was only 1/3 full, so there was no rush. 2) The waiter - complete professionalism! Old-school waitressing 👌 Several languages, patience, and knowledge. 3) The second 30 minutes was spent waiting for calamari, a few shrimp, and... two pizzas... an absolute record in Italy. 4) The pizza was nothing special. The egg on the pizza must have been made yesterday or this morning - and it tasted that way too. The calamari... a bouquet of dirty, uncleaned grill flavors. It was inedible. I'm leaving out many details that made us feel sorry for ourselves. The facade, viewed from the road, is superb! The waitstaff was excellent, despite the long wait. ...and the rest was an absolute Italian disaster. Something's not right there, and they might be running on the fumes of their old reputation. What a waste of money!

11/09/2025: The price is unjustified. The place is small and the tables are very close to each other. The service is courteous, but the timing is completely flawed. Bringing out an appetizer, first course, and second course in 50 minutes is unacceptable. Dinner should be a pleasure, not a race against time. The quality of the dishes is excellent, some are average. The duck is very good, as are the fine wood pigeon stews. The goulash is mediocre. The high prices must be fully justified, and here they aren't.

08/09/2025: Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I hadn't been there for a year, and in the meantime, they'd been renovating the place. It turned out pretty well, too. But they forgot about the acoustics. It's indescribably noisy, and it's hard to stay quiet. Meanwhile, I have to say that the quality of the food has gone downhill. The dishes are too Westernized, with little spice and flavor. A bit disappointing.

29/08/2025: We were here for the first time since it was renovated...the best we've tried so far, even in Rome. Fast service, friendly staff. Dishes cooked with care and unique flavors. Everything was really good. Large, super crispy and filling spring rolls, sublime ravioli, spectacular grilled beef. 😍 And let's not forget the fried cream ice cream!!!! It was gigantic, perfectly fried...I highly recommend this restaurant. Well done!!! Well done, the chef 💯🤞

30/06/2025: Pino was exceptional! He really did a great job! It was the first time I ordered a buffet for a party on my own and Pino was able to advise me not only on the food to order based on the guests (a children's party but also adults) but above all the right quantities. I took home just half a pan of pizza, the rest between pizza, croissants, savory sandwiches, hot dogs, croquettes, stuffed bombettes, focaccia and mortadella, all gone! He was impeccable, precise and the food was exceptional. A guarantee for my event and also for the next ones.

10/07/2025: One of the nicest and most complete coffee bars I’ve seen. Very clean, organized and friendly. Seems they have everything you need in a bar.
