I got a bottle of water and a small cheesecake while checking my mails one afternoon. The place is very bright and nice to sit in. The internet isn’t the fastest but it does exist, and the staff don’t seem to mind people reading on their laptops in the self service area. They were very nice in general.
The cheesecake was good but at 7 EUR I felt like I would rather have eaten a piece of pizza or something. Confusing pricing but then I could have asked before ordering. Would definitely go again.

I went for a morning walk wherever I could see and came to the cathedral. I went here to realize my dream of drinking espresso in a place with a view of the cathedral square. The various types of croissants were very delicious, and the espresso was strong but not bitter. It was a local restaurant in the neighborhood, so much so that the place filled up after us. I highly recommend coming here during your morning walk!

Nice atmosphere and close to the St. Maria Maggeria church. Nice looking place and comfortable. We had breakfast and lunch and its reasonable food. Service is slightly slow but food and drinks both good.

Very nice place for an aperitif or even a pizza....they must say that the aperitif is top notch....the dough is good and the pizza chef is well done for his imagination....for me, excellent quality products. ..

Before going to the museum of illusions we go to this place for a snack. Rainy afternoon in Rome, the bar restaurant is quite full, and there are several tourists. Let's take a seat at the table. The service is quite slow and several waiters ask us the same things several times (spoiler: in the end the supplì never arrived).
We ask for a few slices of pizza, but you have to go to the counter to order it, then some drinks to drink. I have to say that the pizza was good, very expensive but good. The drinks are also very expensive. You can see the prices from the receipt attached in the photo. They also charge a cover charge, but there are no tablecloths, cutlery or anything else at the table.
The toilets were very dirty, they should be managed better given the price list.
I don't think I'll go back

This is a bakery, restaurant and bar along Via Merulana just past Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore. They have a fairly large indoor seating area, some outdoor tables as well as standing and counter space near the bar service area. Opening hours are 7am to 12pm daily.
We stopped here after an early visit to Maria Maggiore. Espressos served quickly and tasted as expected, cornetti were soft, flaky and tasted just fine. Biscotto was ok, less enjoyed than the cornetti but still fine. Would be happy to pop in for caffe e cornetto orders again during future visits to Rome.
