There's a splendid view of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of Rome's largest basilicas. The best time to go is during aperitivo, but in my opinion the price seems to be due more to the location than the food.

Our favorite place. We were a bit far from the hotel, but it was worth going for breakfast and dinner. Everything was delicious! It's worth coming and trying. The service is great and very friendly.

Even though it's located in a tourist area, I have to say the quality is excellent. The location is very well-maintained and the food is excellent. A special mention for the impeccable service (Francesca looked after us with great care and attention). I recommend it to everyone, tourists and non-tourists alike.

Fantastic for lunch, breakfast, or cocktails. The service was great, especially from Emmanuelle, a magnificent waiter who took excellent care of us. Very good prices and no surprises!

This was a really nice bakery with delicious pastries and many breakfast options. We got a pain au chocolat that tasted like it was straight from France and our other food was just as good! I also had a (quite) large coffee that hit the spot. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Rome.

A very lively place with great food and pleasant service. Significantly above the standard of surrounding establishments in terms of food quality, especially worth mentioning is their pasta carbonara.

16/03/2026: A trendy, local spot with a refined and original atmosphere. The dining area is excellent, from breakfast to aperitifs, dinners, and much more. The professional and welcoming staff are definitely worth a try.

Pizzeria da Baffetto

09/06/2026: We went to Pizzeria Da Baffetto at 7:11 PM and there was already a long line, but we didn't wait long. The service was quick. I ordered the pizza with zucchini flowers and it was served on a red base for the first time. Personally, I didn't appreciate this choice and the fact that it wasn't mentioned on the menu. Customers expect a white base for zucchini flowers. I find this pizzeria overrated.
08/06/2026: the wait was 100% worth it. this is the spot with the most hardworking Italians in the world who make the experience so special - they were making hundreds of pizzas, all under the eyes of the expert pizza maestro. Amazing and authentic vibe, pizza paper thin and crunchy. My family recommended this spot, they used to come ten years ago and I’m happy to say it is still as good as in the past.
