Trattoria Al Pompiere In Verona

We loved the food, atmosphere and service. We ordered a mixed prosciutto and mortadella plate as a starter, with a very easy drinking wine offered by the waiter. As the main course, we chose Amareno risotto and Gnocchi with horse meat. We ended the evening with a delicious parfait. All recommended. Don't forget to book your table!

Highly recommended historic trattoria where you can eat well and have traditional dishes. A high quality wine list. Informal but refined environment. Prices are not cheap, but absolutely fair for the excellent quality, the very pleasant service and the very central location in Verona.

The food is exceptional and the service unbeatable. We ordered the chicken ravioli, the wild boar tagliatelle and tiramisu for dessert. Super top!

A very pleasant restaurant with good food.

On the specific advice of acquaintances we went to this restaurant to taste some typical Veronese dishes. After consulting the menu we ask to try the amarone risotto and we are told that they make the risotto with a minimum of two portions. We decide to take it anyway. The rice was really very good, perfect cooking as well as the flavour. We accompany everything with two glasses of Soave and conclude the lunch with a truly exceptional tiramisu. In conclusion, I certainly can't say that the food was bad, I was a little disappointed by the location, very small with few seats (but it's certainly not a flaw). Once we asked for the bill we read €71 for two risottos, two glasses of wine and a tiramisu. It is certainly not a suitable place for a quick lunch, we only realized later that they had included a bottle of water in the bill even if we didn't take it, but that could be a mistake.

Visited on a Saturday for lunch. Despite being a restaurant in the historic center of Verona, there is nothing touristy about it. The atmosphere is beautiful, warm, the staff are welcoming and friendly and know how to put you at ease and make you feel pampered. Very capable sommelier, he gave us top recommendations. The dishes are tasty and balanced, with the right portions. A round of applause for the Venetian liver: amazing!!!!!! The price is more than honest. PS: you can't miss tasting the famous tiramisu, winner of important awards!!! Super Recommended!

Restaurante famoso em Verona. Necessário reservar com antecedência. Bonito, bem frequentado, atendimento educado, bem decorado, com muitas fotos de celebridades que já visitaram o local. A comida é muito boa. O preço é alto. Foi a maior conta que pagamos durante toda a viagem. Jamais direi que a experiência não foi boa, pelo contrário, mas pode-se comer tão bem quanto lá pagando-se menos por isso.
