09/11/2024: Tutto chiuso fuori stagione, fortunatamente troviamo questo ristorante aperto, non si mangia male, ma le porzioni sono da fame, la fonduta servita con la moccetta e dei citriolini, va bene come stuzzichino, di secondo uno spezzatino, tre pezzetti di numero, a prezzi non proprio economici, vista la quantità… comunque buoni..

05/05/2025: I went to Shatush for a dinner with music. Initially I justified the high price of what was on the menu with the fact that we then had direct access to the disco after dinner. But for those prices I expected a much better quality of the dishes, certainly good, but not 5 star. I dropped it to 3 stars because there wasn't a fully functional bathroom in the nightclub: the men's bathroom was out of order and you were forced to use the disabled bathroom where you couldn't close the door... But is it possible? I wouldn't have gone to any fourth-rate place.

02/05/2025: A wonderful spring stay at Shatush Mont Blanc. Breathtaking view of Mont Blanc right from the room, cozy accommodations, attentive staff, and excellent cuisine. The Skyway cable car is just a short walk away — perfect for mountain walks or reaching the summit. An ideal place to relax in the Alps. I’ll definitely be back!

10/08/2024: Very good place to eat pizzas at lunchtime, in the cool with two families (10 people). Welcome in approximate but understandable French and with a smile! I recommend!

07/08/2024: The Pinsas are very delicious and at a good price. The service has been 10. They have taken very good care of us, the dog and our son. Without a doubt, to repeat!

29/03/2025: Lovely staff, good seating both in and outdoors, we went on a recommendation and were very glad, then went back again another day. Excellent grilled vegetables with local cheese and polenta dish.

17/02/2025: We visited this mountain restaurant on the last night of our short stay in Gressoney and had a really good meal accompanied by some very nice local red wine. You are collected in a mini snow cat and taken for a short ride up the mountain to the restaurant which is small and cosy. The hosts were very friendly and we were well looked after. There was a good choice of food which was very tasty. The lunch menu also looked good and I would definitely return to sample that in the future!

24/02/2025: We didn’t realise it was going to be a fine dining experience when we booked. However we enjoyed it all the same. Food was fantastic as was the service but maybe a bit too attentive- different people asking the same question. Also asking if we wanted dessert after we’d already paid the bill! Maybe being friendly or maybe a lack of communication between staff. 🤔

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a warm and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail and passion for food and wine were evident in every aspect of our visit. We started with a delightful selection of cheeses and charcuterie, beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic flavors. For the main course, we chose the Beef Tenderloin, which was expertly grilled rare over a wood stove by the mother of the sommelier who runs the place. The meat, sourced from local white cattle in Piemonte, was incredibly tender and had a subtle firewood aroma that added a rustic, smoky depth to each bite. To complement our meal, the sommelier recommended a fantastic local red wine—Cave Gargantua’s 2022 Pierre, made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the north-facing slopes of the Aosta Valley. It was the perfect pairing, enhancing the flavors of the beef with its elegant structure and refined character. To round off the evening, we enjoyed a smooth and aromatic Grappa alongside a rich, perfectly brewed espresso. It was the ideal way to end a truly exceptional meal. Since the restaurant operates on a reservation-only basis, we made our booking on the same day, which worked out well. In addition to the incredible dining experience, they also offer a few charming hotel rooms, making it a wonderful destination for a full getaway. This place is absolutely worth traveling for—whether for the outstanding food, the carefully curated wines, or the genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

31/01/2025: We went here on holiday with two children for a quick lunch, a simple and super welcoming place, very kind staff, they made us feel at home, there are two choices between first and second courses, both super good and abundant, with a fixed price and also wine or beer and coffee. The view from the window is beautiful, highly recommended if you want to eat well and spend little!

04/11/2024: Arrived in St Pierre (VdA) at 2pm on Monday 4 November. Informal environment, with self-service trays, simple but genuine dishes, courteous and available staff even "out of hours". Price with fixed menu and decidedly advantageous in relation to portions and quality (with a complete menu we had lunch for two!)

18/04/2025: Randomly walked up on this lovely pizzeria on Good Friday. So delicious and the server couldn’t have been nicer! A great find.

13/04/2025: Nach langer Suche haben wir uns für dieses von außen unscheinbare Lokal entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Besitzer und alle Angestellten sind super freundlich. Die Atmosphäre ist fast schon familiär. Die Pizzen sind unfassbar lecker, besonders zu empfehlen sind die regionalen mit Spezialitäten aus dem Aostatal. 100% Weiterempfehlung. Wir werden definitiv auch wiederkommen. Kleine Tip, am Besten Reservieren.

27/03/2025: Great food. Reasonably priced. Service is very friendly. But unfortunately, after 3 p.m., availability is very limited. Servers don't come out to take orders, and the kitchen is closed. Everyone is clearly busy cleaning. The customer is in the way. It's a shame.

05/05/2025: The air conditioning didn't work in the room, we had to sleep with the window open due to the heat, they didn't change our room to make up for the inefficiency, the cleanliness is not at home, the favelas are more hygienic in comparison, upon complaining at the time of payment we were still treated with arrogance by the gentleman at the reception who didn't even make the gesture of discounting us something for the inefficiency, inventing excuses of a truly praiseworthy embarrassment. The 4 stars are those that make you see them with the disservice......

16/09/2024: Dopo una camminata, ci siamo recati in questo caratteristico ristorante in Val Ferret, immerso nella quiete, con polenta cucinata sulla stufa a legna. Materie prime di qualità e buon servizio. Prezzi molto onesti in un locale genuino, in considerazione che si trova nelle vicinanze della blasonata Courmayeur. Lo consiglio a chi vuole assaporare i piatti della tradizione Valdostana e godersi quell'attimo di pace di cui tutti siamo alla ricerca.

15/09/2024: The restaurant is not visible from the road, but by climbing a short hill, which can be traveled on foot or by car, it is possible to reach it. The lady serving the tables was extremely friendly and helpful, taking care of our every need despite the place being without great pretensions. We ate outside and the view was spectacular, made even more beautiful by the excellent polenta we ate.

16/03/2025: We come across here a few times, sometimes for a casual drink, other times to watch sport. One night we had burgers which we were underwhelmed with given they were 14euro each. Needing the burger to taste fresher and for that price add fries or other. But drinks/service and complimentary small finger food negated the food.

06/02/2025: The place has been modernized and very welcoming and warm compared to the previous management. Excellent friendly and helpful service. Even the delicious pizza, you can feel the quality raw materials, as well as the fried fish or chips. Light and crunchy with definitely clean oil given the lightness both on the palate and on digestion... it's not for everyone. The prices...a little pricier than average but the quality is worth paying for. I would perhaps broaden the choice more in the restaurant part which is a little skimpy in terms of the menu. Parking nearby and easily accessible even for disabled people. I will definitely go back
