This restaurant is located in a verdant area of Val Ferret. There's ample parking, and tranquility is guaranteed. The food is excellent. The lamb chops and onion soup were truly delicious. Prices are reasonable for the area. The staff is friendly.

Great hospitality, excellent food, attentive service. Italian/French/English. Had lunch for four. The local trout with grilled vegetables is excellent, as well as pasta fresca. Prices fair. Ambiance very good. Highly recommended.

Ristorante hotel Gran paradiso

23/04/2026: A wonderful place! We stayed there after skiing up Gran Paradiso. The food is fantastic, and Giocino, the manager, caters to your every need. We had to leave early in the morning to reach the Rifugio Benevolo in time for good snow conditions on the descent. An early breakfast was possible. We would definitely come back! Grazie mille!
20/03/2026: I tried the restaurant and... it was amazing! The quality-price-service ratio was perfect, and the location is truly breathtaking. I'll be back as a guest to experience the hotel service. Parking is available, restrooms are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Rifugio Chaligne

03/07/2026: The route is always on a rough road up to the refuge from the start to the finish. It's a place with a wonderful view, friendly people, good food, I recommend it.
08/06/2026: Climbed by mountain bike.... from Aosta 15 km of asphalt up to the hamlet of Buthier (going up to the left shortly after passing Gignod) the road becomes a dirt road with excellent surface and asphalted sections and in about 5 km you reach the beautiful refuge just below 2000 meters above sea level... you can still continue for about 2.5 km up to the tza de Chaligne at just over 2200 meters..... in total about 23 km... with always constant and never exaggerated slopes.... perfect surface and great views make the climb by mountain bike really pleasant 👍🏻
