20/10/2025: A former workshop, tastefully renovated and converted into a restaurant. Beautiful, well-decorated venue. We ate well, paired with excellent wine. The service is truly excellent, with attentive service and attention to detail. Given the restaurant's appearance, I expected higher prices. I will return to Foligno and stop at "Mangiafuoco" again. I highly recommend it.

07/09/2025: I went to Capricorno on the recommendation of friends, and never was advice so welcome. Besides an excellent appetizer with local cured meats and cheeses and mixed bruschetta (the chickpea one was especially good. The best). I ate grilled lamb with truffles. Peace of mind. The price... Far too fair for the quality and variety of products. If you're in the area... Book a table. It's definitely worth it.

12/10/2025: Impressive entrance to the historical town and in the distance you, when looking back down the long, straight road, you can begin to see the hills of Montepulicano in the distance.

We'd love to return to that day to enjoy the excellent, high-quality food and the perfect portions. All our guests were very satisfied, including the simplicity and elegance of the room. 09/07/2025: A charming location with a garden full of flowers and paths. I went there for a friend's wedding anniversary and was really impressed by the buffet, which featured finger foods from all over the world, rather than the usual fare. Everything was very well thought out, well done.

29/04/2025: Sul sito internet è "Locanda del Meno 3", ma ora si chiama "L'Osteria Ragriglia" piccolo problema per trovarla. Il locale è accogliente, pulito, sistemato adeguatamente e personale disponibile per ogni esigenza. Porzioni, servite in padelle, abbondanti e condite ottimamente. L'unica "pecca" è che non siamo stati avvisati del doppio turno (avremmo iniziato prima delle 13:15 o prenotato dopo le 14:00) e quindi abbiamo dovuto rinunciare al dolce, comunque il caffè e l'amaro lo abbiamo preso al bar sottostante che è della stessa gestione.

28/11/2025: Visited during the Easter period. The hotel is beautiful, a little dated, but it fits the style of the area. The food was really good, and the service was excellent, from the restaurant to the front desk. The rooms had everything you need, but they were very basic but very comfortable. The cleanliness was good. The location was perfect, halfway between the town center and the village of Assisi, easily accessible on foot. I highly recommend it, especially for the attention to detail in managing this hotel. The price was fair. Special thanks to Gianna and Alessandro, two wonderful people.

05/10/2025: A good hotel for a night or two while exploring Assisi. Comfortable, well-equipped rooms (although ours didn't have working air conditioning, which fortunately wasn't a problem in late September). The meals were tasty, though not very varied. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

12/10/2025: I visited La Cia restaurant in Gubbio and had a very positive experience overall, albeit with a few minor oversights that didn't ruin the meal. The restaurant is in a truly picturesque location, atop Mount Ingino, with a spectacular view of all of Gubbio. You can reach it either by car, via a convenient road and parking, or by cable car, which adds a scenic and distinctive touch to the experience. The atmosphere is refined, elegant but not stuffy, and the staff was friendly and helpful, although I would say that the wine was poured without us tasting it first, and the bread arrived only after the appetizers, rather than right at the beginning when we were seated. These are easily remedied oversights, but they didn't ruin the meal. The food, in fact, was excellent: dishes prepared with quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The appetizers were excellent, and the first courses were truly delicious, especially the truffle ones, flavorful yet balanced. The prices are in line with the restaurant's caliber and panoramic location, so they're reasonable. In conclusion, La Cia is a restaurant I recommend: the food is excellent, the view is wonderful, and in my humble opinion, with a little more attention to service, it could become truly perfect.

12/10/2025: We stopped for lunch for a quick bite; we were passing through, but luckily we stopped. I had a charcuterie board, spectacular in both quantity and variety; my wife had a melt-in-the-mouth tagliata with truffle; baked potatoes and sautéed vegetables to finish. The service was prompt and courteous.

12/10/2025: At the top of the "Porta Orvietana" elevator, this osteria invites you to a moment of refreshment... even for the soul. The carefully selected dishes reflect the authentic flavors of Umbrian tradition. The porchetta pork, the tagliolini with truffles, and the tiramisu with a crunchy surprise are excellent. The welcoming atmosphere, typical of an osteria, is further enhanced by a selection of background music that surprised and moved us. Thanks to the guys who carry on this business with such care and passion...which is much more than just a "job."

03/10/2025: Beautifully located restaurant on the way between the Upper Town cable car station and Piazza del Popolo. Interestingly, the restaurant has three areas: outside, then the attached winter garden; and finally, the lovely interior. The restroom was clean, nothing to complain about. We got a table right away (we came spontaneously and didn't make a reservation!). The service was friendly, and the food arrived within a reasonable time (we definitely didn't wait too long). I had the pasta with truffles: it was very tasty, although I prefer it when the truffles are mixed directly into the olive oil and completely mixed with the pasta, as is the case at the "Sagra della Ciriola" in Coppe (a district of the municipality of Stroncone). Nevertheless, the pasta was very creamy...and the truffles were mainly grated "on top" of the pasta. The "Saltimbocca umbra" was simply a dream: the meat was very tender. You could especially taste the sage (I think it was sage) in the meat, as well as the wine. And the sauce was mainly a mixture of olive oil and white wine, which is inevitable. Fried potatoes were served with it. I think the photo speaks volumes: super crispy and very tasty. I quite like the typical unsalted bread. The espresso was good, of course. There were three of us there...hence the photos of their appetizers and main courses. Among other things, the cannelloni were delicious: a good "bite" with a slightly burnt outer layer and a soft interior. The red sauce and the cheese tasted wonderful. Todi itself is a little gem. Very convenient: a cogwheel train goes directly from the parking lot up to the panoramic square, from where you can get a great view of Todi...as well as down into the valley. The cable car is free, by the way. It essentially works like an elevator: you can press the button at any time...and the train takes off. Parking does cost a bit, but the prices are quite reasonable. In any case, I can highly recommend the restaurant for its food and service, especially since the price-performance ratio is definitely reasonable. I hope this restaurant will stay with us for a long time.
