13/04/2025: We found ourselves making an occasional stop in this place, a real discovery for us, the kind, attentive, familiar and welcoming service, completes the wonder of the dishes ordered in a characteristic and old-time location, all of which has calmed a rainy day in the splendid hamlet in which it is located. The dishes ordered were a paradise for the palate, the chestnut gnocchi with truffles a real specialty, without forgetting the pici with goose sauce and the tartare with burrata and truffle to conclude, the desserts were all to be tasted with the eyes and with the taste for reasons of space we stopped at a chocolate brownie accompanied by a scoop of vanilla and cream ice cream. It all took me back to the times of my grandmother's lunches.

02/02/2025: Full place, rather noisy environment. We honestly expected something more from the dishes. The pici cacio e pepe with truffle didn't suit us: the cacio remained largely stuck to the bottom of the dish and the pepper dominated the taste of the truffle, unbalancing the flavour, in our opinion. Maybe we made a mistake in ordering a dish that is not typical of the area? The chestnut gnocchi tasted good, but the butter and truffle dressing didn't have the right intensity and they went away like that. We would also have liked to try the egg with truffle but, to avoid taking any risks, we preferred to stop and go straight to the coffee. Too bad, because from the photos everything looked really good!

Abbiamo preso in carico questo locale con grande entusiasmo, consapevoli della bella storia che lo ha preceduto e desiderosi di portare avanti un servizio di qualità, aggiungendo un nostro tocco personale. Abbiamo effettuato alcuni adeguamenti agli spazi, con l’intento di renderli ancora più accoglienti e funzionali, nel pieno rispetto dell’identità originale del ristorante. Troverete nuove foto della sala e delle pietanze, che raccontano meglio l’atmosfera che vogliamo creare e il nuovo menu che abbiamo studiato con cura, valorizzando ingredienti freschi e locali. Un sentito ringraziamento va alla precedente gestione, per il lavoro svolto negli anni e per averci lasciato una base solida su cui costruire. Il nostro impegno è quello di mantenere alto il livello del servizio, ascoltando sempre i feedback dei nostri clienti per migliorarci ogni giorno. Vi aspettiamo con piacere per farvi vivere una nuova esperienza gastronomica.

25/03/2025: Giorno festivo, tanta gente in attesa, anche con prenotazione tempi di attesa lunghi per l’ordine, personale non professionale, location non proprio accogliente, cibi scarsi in qualità e nulla di eccezionale, rapporto qualità prezzo non proporzionale…non lo consiglierei…

10/03/2025: What can I say... 5 well-deserved stars! We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday at this restaurant on Sunday, having chosen a complete menu that they offer if you want for this type of occasion. The choice turned out to be a winning one, everything was delicious (agnolotti with space porcini mushrooms!), right portions and reasonable price, well done, well done!

24/02/2025: I have always given positive reviews because I have always found them to be very good.... Unfortunately the last time after having agreed on the price for a lunch at the time of the bill (I assume lunch is ok and service is ok). In my opinion, the bill did not respect the agreements made previously......in any case, I paid what was asked of me without any controversy...in fact I also left something for the waiter who had served us for the excellent service provided......for the next few times I will go elsewhere...I like correctness......

19/03/2025: I agree with all the positive reviews. The food is really good. One important additional fact is that it is one of the few places where you can get excellent thin crust pizza freshly made at lunchtime.

01/04/2025: I have been going to this restaurant for a long time and my mistake was to almost always order the paella, which is always excellent. Then one day I started to taste the other dishes too and I realized what we had missed... Obviously we will make up for it next time... wonderful starters, excellent and well cooked fish, top notch desserts. Not to mention the courtesy, kindness and professionalism in the dining room and in the kitchen. I recommend booking as the place is not very large and you risk not finding a seat given the turnout. Upon request, they also do takeaway with on-site collection. Our compliments and keep it up!!! See you soon!!

02/02/2025: Comportamento inqualificabile. Fatto l'ordinazione, le portate sono arrivate in tempi diversi quindi ognuno ha mangiato da solo se non voleva che la pietanza si raffreddasse.Una ordinazione non è stata portata, abbiamo chiesto se arrivava e la cameriera è andata in cucina a vedere e l hanno messa a cuocere dopo l'avviso, vedendo che era tardi ho avvertito la cameriera che non la volevo più. Mi hanno obbligata a prenderla me l'hanno messa nel piatto nonostante io avessi detto di no, allora me lo sono fatta mettere in un contenitore per portarla via.La recensione negativa non è per l'errore in cucina ma per il proprietario al momento del pagamento a cui ho raccontato lo sbaglio loro .Mi aspettavo delle scuse per la mancata cena invece non solo non si è scusato ma mi ha anche fatto pagare la pietanza come da asporto. Da commerciante so che ci può essere l'errore ma la differenza la fa il recupero..... inqualificabile .

29/12/2024: Very welcoming and nice place, complete with a fireplace! Typical restaurant specializing in snail cuisine. We tried them in every way and no dish disappointed us. The prices are very balanced. Truly, I RECOMMEND IT.

22/03/2025: Io e mia moglie abbiamo visitato i luoghi sacri di Cascia e stasera ci siamo fermati al Caminetto per cena. Nonostante alcune allettanti proposte a-la-carte, abbiamo optato per il Menu del Pellegrino che si è rivelato un ottimo compromesso qualità prezzo. Per chiudere un dolce particolare al cioccolato con un nome particolare (che non ricordo) veramente sorprendente. Riassumendo,blo consiglierei a chiunque.

02/04/2025: First and second courses made at the moment, nothing pre-cooked. Really friendly and kind staff. First second side dish 1/2 water 1/4 wine coffee for less than 17 euros, but the price has nothing to do with it, it is for the quality and goodness of the products that it must be an obligatory stop if you are in the area, which will become a fixed stop even when you are not in the area

01/04/2025: A welcoming restaurant with an authentic homely atmosphere, perfect for those looking for genuine flavours and a convivial experience. The food is truly excellent: dishes rich in flavour, prepared with fresh ingredients and served simply, but without neglecting quality. I particularly enjoyed the first courses and the meat, cooked to perfection. The only detail that, in my opinion, could be improved is the accompaniment of the chicken, which would have been even tastier with a suitable side dish. Apart from that, everything else was impeccable, from the friendly service to the quality of the dishes. Recommended for those who love authentic home cooking

25/02/2025: Su segnalazione dei miei figli Francesco e Simone sono andato al ristorante Bosco 131 di Perugia segnalatomi per piatti innovativi e perinvogliami mi hanno regalato una gift card. Già dalla lettura del menù si capisce che il locale punta ad un'offerta di qualità e la scelta delle materie prima denota grande attenzione. Materie prime di ottima qualità e cucinate espresse, in maniera gustosa e servite. Menù vario ed originale. Abbiamo preso un po dal menù di degustazione ed altro fidandoci del maître anche per l'abbinamento dei vini. Ci è piaciuto tutto, non da ultimo la disponibilità, la cortesia e la simpatia del personale. il giudizio globale positivo e rimane un locale che val la pena provare e penso che tornerò .. Parcheggio comodissimo.

02/02/2025: E' sempre molto piacevole fare una visita a questo storico locale del perugino, innanzitutto per la qualità della proposta enogastronomica offerta da Luigi ed dal suo staff, ma anche per la piacevole atmosfera che si respira. Servizio sempre attento e puntuale. Prezzo adeguato.
