27/07/2025: The Hotel dei Duchi in Spoleto is a good hotel: located in the center, next to the Roman theater, it exudes a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with helpful and qualified staff. The continental breakfast is excellent and good value. The hotel parking is limited and costs €13 per day.

24/07/2025: The hotel is not bad, the room is air-conditioned, but the internal parking is very small. It costs €13 per day (reservation required), or you can walk a bit for €8. Public parking costs €15 per day, but there's no free parking. The hotel is located within the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), so you have to be careful when arriving. In theory, you can just walk past the signs.

17/07/2025: The location is excellent—right next to San Gregorio Maggiore. The black truffle steak (made with fresh black truffles) is absolutely delicious. They serve the most thoughtfully prepared bread in the world before the meal. The desserts are also exceptional. The staff are very friendly.

30/07/2025: The pizza was mediocre at best, and the truffle sauce left a strange aftertaste. Our order was incorrect, and instead of resolving it, staff insisted it was our fault, twice. One employee even came over and slammed the table, which made us feel quite uncomfortable. Side dishes were completely forgotten until we’d already finished our pizza, and the fried olives were honestly some of the worst food we’ve ever had. To top it off, several of their Google reviews seem suspiciously fake. Bottom line: Spend your money elsewhere.

26/07/2025: Authentic traditional Umbrian dishes. Truly everything is exceptional. The grilled mutton is a delicacy. Even the simple raw cabbage is an exceptional accompaniment. In short, simple yet authentic dishes.

04/08/2025: A classic local restaurant, with a complete seafood appetizer that, if I'm not mistaken, is four courses but is truly legendary. And the gnocchi with scampi cream. Top service with highly trained waiters. Location with a lake view.

15/07/2025: We chose this hotel as a base for our three-day vacation in the surrounding area. Large spaces and impeccable cleanliness. The building, while a bit dated, still offers excellent comfort. The owner was incredibly kind. The restaurant was excellent and honest.

07/07/2025: We stopped at this hotel to escape the heat of Foligno. Here time has stopped a few years ago but that's fine. the room except for the shower a bit so-so are spacious and clean. there is an outdoor pool which in the heat of summer is not bad. They have restaurant service and the food is decent. The place is quiet even if on the road but at a certain time no one passes by anymore. there is an outdoor veranda where you can have a coffee or an aperitif. the price is very good. I will gladly stop next time I travel.

The restaurant is welcoming, well-maintained, and immediately exudes a family atmosphere, where you feel at ease from the first moment. The cuisine is a tribute to Umbrian tradition: authentic dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors that express the region in every bite. But what made our dinner unforgettable was Anna's hospitality, who, with great kindness and sensitivity, took the time to find paper and colors for the son of a couple of friends who were staying with us to draw. A simple gesture, yet full of thoughtfulness and humanity, demonstrating the passion and care this osteria dedicates to each guest, young and old. It's rare to find a place where you truly feel at home, welcomed as a friend and not just a customer. At Osteria Valle, this truly happens. I highly recommend stopping here: for the delicious food, the warm and friendly atmosphere, and above all, the extraordinary hospitality that makes all the difference. We can't wait to return!

03/07/2025: Everything was excellent, from the appetizer (burrata and truffle crouton). The cockerel alla diavola was truly remarkable (very tender with a delicious sauce). To finish, the tiramisu was delicious. Full marks!

07/07/2025: The accommodation is located about 4 km uphill from Cascia, the room is spacious and clean and very nice, the bed with a mattress too soft that I did not sleep well. The sore point was the breakfast with only cakes that were good but made uncomfortable if you took more samples, limited yogurt and biscuits with jam and packaged chocolate, nothing savory!!! We had dinner one evening, the dishes were good but poor portions and high prices for the quantity and type of dishes!! The owner is not very friendly, does not accommodate the needs of the customer, let's say that's not how it's done!! Too bad!!
