Everything was very pleasant, except for the unprofessional and somewhat arrogant response of the lady at reception after a polite observation I made, a sour note at the end of my stay... what a shame.

Elegant hotel, close to the historic center, with parking. Worth mentioning is the kindness with which Mr. Andrea at the reception welcomed us and the professionalism with which he fulfilled our requests.

We stayed at this hotel in January 2025 and returned in early November because we had a wonderful experience in every way: hospitality, location, rooms, breakfast, cost, etc. The restaurant was closed for vacation, so I can't review it. We used the hotel's paid parking, which is quite convenient considering you'd otherwise have to pay for parking a considerable distance away. The only downside, which we noted both in January and November, is that paying a supplement for our dog seems excessive, as they don't offer any amenities (kennels, bowls, toys, designated areas, etc.) for our furry friends. To be fair, even though we brought two dogs, they only charged one fee. This observation applies to all hotels that charge a supplement for dogs. Let me start by saying that we're always well-equipped, we bring sanitizing products for unexpected events (which haven't happened) and we cover the bed with our own sheets to prevent paws from dirtying the bedspread. It's our way of showing respect for our guests. Other hotels would justify this extra charge by saying they needed to sanitize the room, but we know that's not the case. Regardless, Hotel dei Duchi (and its staff) will always be our go-to hotel for future trips to Umbria.

I really liked the hotel. The ground floor has large windows overlooking a park. The room was spacious, and the bed was king-size and very comfortable. There are two things that could be improved: the pillows and the breakfast. Otherwise, it's also in a very convenient location!

The Hotel dei Duchi in Spoleto is an architectural structure by the rationalist architect Nicolosi, offering views and glass spaces overlooking the landscape, Roman ruins, and part of the Archaeological Museum. The rooms are renovated and equipped with basic but well-appointed amenities. Sleeping is very comfortable, with mattresses, toppers, and pillows of varying densities. The breakfast is very extensive, with pastries and the essentials for a savory breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff are available for car parking (reservation required).

I'll be back in Spoleto and staying at this hotel again. The room was spacious and very clean, the location excellent, the restaurant excellent, and the service professional and friendly. Breakfast was varied, and the desserts were delicious. See you soon, and thank you.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for visiting the historic center. Friendly staff, spacious and comfortable room, panoramic views of the greenery, impeccable cleanliness, excellent buffet breakfast, delightful garden overlooking the Roman Theater. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel and I have to say I was satisfied. The suite was clean and large, the breakfast was good, and the location was excellent! The only downside was the hotel parking, which was a bit expensive, especially the daily cost of a car.
