Yesterday I had lunch with an excellent, beautifully flavored Chianina tartare and fragrant cappellacci... everything was very well prepared despite arriving at 1:45 PM. The town is also delightful. Compliments to the cuisine, the service, and the location!

It's very nice. We all really enjoyed the food. The service was super friendly and the price-performance ratio was good.

Ambiance: Beautifully situated with tables on the piazza. Excellent! Service: Friendly and quick. Drinks: Good mineral water in a decorative bottle, and the red wine served in a glass was also very good. Excellent! Food: For a starter, beef tartare with capers. A complete disappointment! The beef tartare was carelessly presented, diced far too coarsely, without capers and completely tasteless! The quality of the meat was good, but the portion was too large. The worst tartare of my life. I finished the plate with the help of the cat and a lot of salt and pepper. Absolutely not recommended. For my main course, I had tagliata di entrecote. The flavor was very good, cooked to perfection, and piping hot. The salad was also tasty. Unfortunately, a third of it was fat, cartilage, and tendons covered by wide slices of cheese, not shavings, so you couldn't see them. I have never in my life been served a tagliata where you couldn't immediately see the meat and how cooked it was. The presentation was also completely uninspired. Dessert was the original tiramisu. It was good until I unexpectedly bit into something cold and hard. Pre-packaged chocolate chips! What the heck! They completely ruined the dessert's creamy charm. Not a hint of coffee or amaretto. Montone is a regular stop for me on my annual trip home from the south because of its excellent restaurants/bakeries and the beautiful village. However, I won't be visiting this restaurant again. Paid €55 per person.

Disappointed! Well below our expectations. We ordered a carpaccio with confit cherry tomatoes, and they brought regular cherry tomatoes. We ordered chicken with friggitelli peppers, and they brought chicken with green beans because the kitchen had mixed up the two ingredients. The waiter could have at least automatically brought a plate of friggitelli peppers to make up for it (especially considering the wait), but instead, nothing.

Excellent food and service. Very kind and professional staff. Must try.

Cuisine featuring local products, expertly blended and prepared (kudos to the young chef!) A wide selection of wines and craft beers, attention to detail in every dish, definitely a great place to have lunch or sip a glass of wine. The rest of the staff, young, helpful, and friendly, also deserves great praise. Highly recommended!!!
