09/04/2026: I found a specific bottle of wine in this shop, but they gave me a vintage that had already gone bad. This is something a wine shop should know. They also charged me double the price. It's a shame, as they did have a nice collection.

28/06/2026: The restaurant overlooks the charming little village of Izzalini. The waiters are very kind and attentive. This evening I went there for the first time with my husband and a couple of friends. After taking our order, the waiter showed up with a delicious welcome pastry cream puff, and after dinner, they offered us a truly delicious pistachio liqueur. The wine list is extensive and excellent. The platter, carpaccio, onion parmigiana, potato soufflé, and saddle were divine. The venison and tagliata were excellent. The tagliata was truly buttery. The desserts were exquisite. I will be back. I highly recommend it. Excellent!

02/07/2026: A beautiful place where you can eat excellently. Everything here exudes style and, above all, cleanliness. The food confirms the restaurant's high quality, not to mention the magnificent view that fits into a winning setting.

16/07/2026: Good restaurant, delicious food, friendly waiters and reasonable prices. However, the relatively modern design harms the atmosphere and the feeling of the diners, especially the entrance to the restaurant which looks more like a cafeteria than a serious restaurant that respects the food and its guests. It is recommended to ask to dine in the historic interior rooms.

15/07/2026: The staff were friendly and helpful; the waiter who served us even showed us around the rooms, each one more beautiful than the others, practically a museum, and one of the four oldest restaurants in Umbria. We ate divinely, the service was impeccable, and they were truly kind to our 6-year-old son. The price was reasonable. A well-rounded experience if you're passing through Norcia or the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: A truly positive experience at La Bella Selva in Assisi. A welcoming place, surrounded by greenery, perfect for a relaxing day. Excellent food, generous portions, and authentic flavors. Everything was meticulously designed, from the ambiance to the service. The staff was incredibly kind and always smiling. Definitely one of the most pleasant places in the area!

03/05/2026: The beautiful forest, truly beautiful, a diamond set just above the Basilica of San Francesco, the food is truly exquisite with refined dishes that are not obvious and at absolutely honest prices, the staff are very kind, we had a great time

03/06/2026: Delicious food especially bruscetta and my husband said the venison was melt in the mouth. Tagliatini and fennel and orange salad also very good. Disnt particularly like the flying tiramisu as hard biscuit in centre. Tad expensive.

05/07/2026: It's hard to find a place with such affordable dishes and such excellent quality, and La Bigonza is one of them. We were truly amazed by the deliciousness and exquisiteness of these dishes at a ridiculous price compared to everything else we tried during our week-long vacation in Umbria. From the presentation to the service, from the friendliness of the girl who served us to the atmosphere of the restaurant (really small, with only a few seats, but that makes all the difference...I hope it never gets bigger), we found everything excellent. The only downside is that it's almost always sold out, so make sure you book ahead, especially on weekends. Highly recommended, truly delicious, homemade food! Kudos to the chef for his culinary ideas, top-notch and unconventional menu...truly well done.

05/07/2026: A tiny osteria in the historic center of Trevi. The location has an authentic, welcoming, and traditional atmosphere, not touristy. The service is impeccable, fast, thoughtful, and attentive (she's excellent), and the food is delicious. All this at a very reasonable price (especially compared to many others in the area...) Well done guys, we had a great time!

07/01/2026: The space is spacious and clean. Despite the fire, there's absolutely no smell, which isn't a given. The service is exceptionally polite and fast. The meat is excellent. The platters are delicious. We were able to enjoy lunch with my furry friends, and we weren't the only ones. Despite this, I repeat, everything is very clean. Thank you.

21/05/2026: We went for lunch on Saturday. I booked through TheFork. The restaurant is located along the road but has parking right next door (it might be harder to find in the evening for dinner). The restaurant is clearly laid out in the style of a village tavern, which I personally found quite appealing. Rustic yet down-to-earth, it makes you feel at home. The waiter and owner are very attentive, both in welcoming you and quickly taking orders. Excellent wine list and fairly varied menu. If the place is busy, there may be some traffic from other tables, but you can still chat at your table. We ordered a first course, a second course, and coffee. The quality and portions of the dishes were truly excellent. They even offered us a complimentary amaro, bringing several bottles of their own homemade amaro directly to our table (which is appreciated, as this custom has become obsolete in restaurants). We spent €100 for two. A fair price considering you eat well, a lot, and you can taste the care and authenticity of the ingredients and cuisine. We will definitely be back.
