29/01/2026: A little place we chose "by chance," based on reviews online, and it didn't disappoint! A small, welcoming place, with attention to detail and quality music specially chosen by Crescenzo. What can I say: you truly feel at home! The dishes are explained in great detail, as are the drinks, all in a friendly, informal atmosphere. Alessandra's touch in the kitchen is truly outstanding... Everything was excellent, with authentic, local, yet refined ingredients. What can I say? We'll definitely be back! The idea of ​​leaving a little poem on each diner's seat is a lovely one. 22/01/2026: Floyd restaurant is a little gem in an enchanting village. Inside, it offers limited seating, a simple yet welcoming atmosphere, and the owners clearly and truly embrace their work with passion and, above all, love. Floyd is one of those businesses that deserves recognition: for their commitment to selecting locally sourced, top-quality, and seasonal ingredients; for their desire to perpetuate such an authentic vision in an increasingly less tangible world; for the poetry they bring to the table and their culinary preparations; for the music they carefully select to accompany their dishes. Because it's not enough to nourish the body; we must also remember to care for our souls. Dinner at Floyd was surprising. A menu with just a few dishes, but extremely carefully crafted and of the highest quality, a comprehensive choice even for those who choose to be vegetarian or vegan. The key ingredients in the dishes are refined yet simple, some even harking back to a long-forgotten ancient cuisine. These dishes are rarely found in mainstream restaurants, yet they embody so much of the local area and healthy eating. A special mention goes to the chocolate cake, which reminded me of the one my mom used to make, and which made me feel even more pampered and at home.

08/01/2026: I was disappointed with the burger; the meat didn't seem very fresh, and the slice of bread at the bottom of the bun was soggy and impossible to pick up without falling apart. The pasta was okay, as were the dessert and polenta. The menu seemed to lack any mention of the freshness of the products next to the dishes.

08/01/2026: My wife (MDW) and I just finished another delightful meal at Mangiar di Vino. I ordered an entrée off the menu but MDW requested a entrée that was not on the menu . Our server was not sure that they could accommodate her request but took it to the kitchen. We both got the delicious entrees exactly as requested. My only recommendation is that the Red Wine should be served at CELLAR temperature, not room temperature.

The place is meticulously cared for, and the customer service is phenomenal. I've been a customer for a while now, but I'll never stop recommending it. ❤️

13/12/2025: Dinner with two friends after visiting Cascia/Roccaporena. It was my second time there. It's a small, family-run trattoria, serving traditional local dishes, including homemade pasta and meat selected and butchered by the owner, who is also an expert hunter. Keep up the good work until next time!

05/01/2026: The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it feel like being at a friend's house. It was a little slow, perhaps, but we're at a trattoria, so we shouldn't be in a rush (in fact, that's how it should be). Everything we tried was delicious, though perhaps the only thing we weren't entirely sold on was the dessert (torta al testo with elderberry jam). The wine was amazing, as were the liqueurs the owner let us try. For what we ate and drank, we paid a ridiculous amount.

06/02/2026: I've stayed at this hotel several times for work. It's an exceptional location, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the restaurant serves excellent local specialties (exceptional gnocchi with Taleggio cheese and truffles). The area is also a great place for tourists visiting Assisi.

28/01/2026: The rooms were cold upon arrival and not cleaned. The same goes for the spa. We found a used hair cap at the edge of the whirlpool. This means that from one booking to the next, no one cleans it and they don't even check it, considering the higher than average prices.

What a warm welcome every time. We'd love to come back. In addition to the regular dishes on the menu, there's also a wide variety of surprising starters and desserts. These are also beautifully presented, making dining here a real treat. The food is of high quality. You should definitely eat here if you're in the area! We've been coming here for years; mostly in the summer, but it's also a wonderful place to visit in the winter. Hospitality is truly a capital "H" here! And that's perhaps also due to Giorgio's warm personality and enthusiastic drive. It's wonderful to see that the younger generation in this family restaurant is just as enthusiastic about continuing this wonderful tradition. We'll keep coming back!
