Tho the balcony table had to be reserved in advance and the staff is friendly but you can tell it’s more of a business vs a nana cucina at this stage as everyone is a bit transactional in comparison to other local places we visited these few days near Perugia.

22/06/2025: This restaurant deserves top marks in everything. Let's start with the cuisine: thoughtful and truly delicious dishes. I recommend the scrambled eggs with black summer truffle as an appetizer, unforgettable! For the first course we ate: gnocchi with summer truffle and quadrelli del carbonaro (also with truffle). Unforgettable too. What will remain in your heart is the service: the owner of the restaurant told us about every single dish, the wine and even his story. Kindness and thoughtfulness are part of this restaurant. Correct quality/price ratio.

07/06/2025: En realidad utilizamos este establecimiento dos veces durante nuestra estancia en la zona. Muy modesto mirando desde el exterior pero acogedor y bien amueblado por dentro. El menú ofrece buenas opciones de temporada, bien preparado y delicioso. Todo lo que intentamos fue de excelente calidad. Servicio eficiente y amable y la carta de vinos extensa.

26/05/2025: Abbiamo usufruito dei servizi di questo ristorante in occasione dell'evento "Cantine Aperte" presso la Cantina Antonini di Ancarano. Grigliata e panini con la salsiccia molto buoni, andrò sicuramente nel loro ristorante di S. Egidio.

30/05/2025: Very nice restaurant in a typical old house. The host is great , and although the food is claimed to have farmer origin inspiration, it is quite gourmet, and not rustic as we expected. Check if this is was you were looking for... Quite pricey but quality probably adequate.

14/06/2025: I asked my Airbnb host for a lunch recommendation and she very graciously booked this lovely place for me directly with the owner, Filippo. He greeted me warmly and the other staff were equally kind and friendly. The vibe is relaxed and friendly yet also sophisticated. The menu combines classics and innovative dishes and SALAD actually finds its way onto many of the plates. My lunch was so delicious that I came back for dinner. I wanted something light and was glad I took the server’s suggestion of the tomino mele noci e miele (melted cheese with magic and salad). Come on over. Enjoy.

10/06/2025: In the center of Perugia, on a quiet street next to the cathedral. A very cozy place with beautiful decor, jazz music, and plenty of bottles of wine. The food was spectacular!! And the wine list was endless... highly recommended!!! I loved it! Cheers and wine!!

09/06/2025: He estado viniendo a Ristorante Medioevo durante años —múltiples veces por viaje— y honestamente, debería comer aquí todas las noches. La comida siempre es fresca, sabrosa y muy bien presentada. El servicio es cálido y atento, haciendo que cada comida se sienta especial. El vino es excelente, y recomiendo confiar en las recomendaciones del chef o elegir especialidades locales. Es un lugar que se siente como en casa con cada visita. ¡Un favorito absoluto en Asís! Salude a la familia propietaria de esta ubicación histórica!

18/05/2025: Small inn near Piazza Grande (famous for Don Matteo). We were welcomed with an entree of crescia with oil and truffle. Wine offered by the host and homemade food of excellent quality! The staff was available to explain the dishes and give us anecdotes about what to see in the surrounding area.

22/05/2025: A hidden soup place and you are lucky to have found it. Don't look for anything there other than the crunchy brustichini, the fresh soups and the DOC wines, accompanied by nice music and kind service. Also the place is very cool and welcoming. Highly recommended!
