12/03/2026: We found this restaurant for lunch during a day in Assisi. Very close to the Temple of Minerva (an excellent location), we luckily found a table without a reservation (though I recommend it during peak hours to avoid disappointment). Truly excellent food, with a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses (both meat and seafood), as well as a varied selection of pizzas. I personally recommend the Tozzetti di San Francesco, spectacular! The service was attentive and precise, although the wait was perhaps a bit long. It's still a lovely find in the heart of the city. One last positive note: the menu clearly lists allergens, which is not a given.

09/03/2026: Campers discovering the culinary delights of Italy, hailing from the Tuscia region and wandering through the isolated hills and marvelous castles of the Todi region, near Todi, we stumbled upon a remote village of four souls, Izzalini. As we sat at our table, we were immediately greeted with a small welcome aperitif, followed shortly by an appetizer of lard on toasted bread and onion parmigiana! We were already ecstatic! When the first courses arrived, I couldn't believe it! A Deruta ceramic plate so large that not even my grandmother had one! Piled high with white hare ragù with handmade tagliatelle! My wife had tagliatelle with deer ragù. At that point, we mustered up our courage and grabbed our forks; we ate until we could stomach it! Unfortunately, I don't have any concrete documentation of what happened, but I can assure you it's not a place for the faint of heart! Be careful who enters, because the culinary experience here will infect you and drive your palate crazy, and you won't sleep at night, because the only thought that will cross your mind is coming back here! At Kairos...

05/03/2026: We went for lunch on February 22, 2026....what can I say.....MAMMA MIA, IT WAS DELICIOUS. We were a table of 10, and the appetizer was incredibly rich with cured meats and truffles. Wonderful wine... The road to get there is challenging because it's paved, with hairpin bends and tight curves in some places, but it's used by coaches, so it's doable. Anyway, book well in advance because it's always full. We had a wonderful time, and for how much we ate, we didn't spend a lot.

21/03/2026: I visited the Masolino restaurant and was thrilled. I started with tagliatelle with artichokes and guanciale, which were simply spectacular: perfectly balanced flavors, homemade pasta, and a taste that truly reflects Umbrian tradition. For my second course, I chose guinea fowl... and here it takes things to the next level: impeccably cooked, tender meat, and intense flavor. Truly top-notch in every way. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and location make everything even more special. I would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

14/03/2026: A top-quality restaurant, in a setting that has successfully revitalized a splendid area hit by the 2016 earthquake. Excellent menu options, including the signature black truffle! Excellent quality meats, perfectly cooked. Good dessert options. Extensive wine list.

09/03/2026: My partner and I went to "Granaro del Monte" in Norcia to enjoy a Wonderbox—a gift voucher that included a tasting of local cured meats, which were simply exquisite. However, we wanted to complement this tasting with two courses and a side dish: a first course, a second course, and a portion of baked potatoes. For my first course, I chose tagliolini with black truffle, which were wonderful; my partner had a delicious meat-based second course. We thought the price of the tagliolini with truffle was a bit too expensive: €28.00 was more than the value of the tasting for two people (€24.90 for two glasses of wine and a platter of 4-5 types of local cured meats plus plain bread), and it was undoubtedly the most expensive first course I've ever eaten in my life! It was a unique experience, but I wouldn't order a black truffle first course in the future!

11/01/2026: Quality, elegance, and kindness. Three characteristics that are hard to find in many restaurants, but not at Tartufo. Indescribable quality, kind, smiling, and welcoming staff. The place is meticulously cared for, and the customer service is phenomenal. I've been a customer for a while now, but I'll never stop recommending it. ❤️

30/12/2025: Very well-kept and beautiful atmosphere. Spectacular view. Very friendly, professional, and never intrusive staff. Very good and beautifully presented food, both meat and seafood. I hadn't heard of this place before, but it will quickly become one of my favorites in the area.

30/12/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, but we found the right place: a restaurant with a refined atmosphere, generous and delicious portions, and a very friendly and pet-friendly staff. I highly recommend it. I hope to return soon because I have to try the pork cheek.

06/03/2026: At first glance, I noticed the hospitality and, above all, the friendliness. My wife and I stayed on a half-board basis. Breakfast was varied and offered excellent products, especially considering the kind and helpful staff. Dinner offered typical, excellent, and high-quality dishes, which I must compliment. We'll definitely go to Assisi at least once, and I've definitely found the perfect place for us. Thanks also to Antonello, to whom I've already complimented the entire property. Thank you.

07/01/2026: The space is spacious and clean. Despite the fire, there's absolutely no smell, which isn't a given. The service is exceptionally polite and fast. The meat is excellent. The platters are delicious. We were able to enjoy lunch with my furry friends, and we weren't the only ones. Despite this, I repeat, everything is very clean. Thank you.

14/03/2026: Highly recommended. The atmosphere is simple but clean. The food is excellent, without frills, and at reasonable prices. Simple, home-style dishes, carefully prepared with top-quality ingredients. A true Italian trattoria, the kind I like. Thank goodness places like this still exist. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind. They also make delicious cookies to take away.

11/03/2026: I stopped in for dinner here while visiting from Chicago, Illinois while on pilgrimage to see St. Rita. The family that runs the restaurant are all extremely nice and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Cascia.
