03/11/2025: My wife and I found this Wine Bar on our first night in Ortisei and it was our favorite restaurant from our entire trip. The food, service, and atmosphere were so amazing we came back the next night! The owners, Renate and Helmuth also gave us excellent wine recommendations to pair with our dinner. We absolutely loved this restaurant and will be back the next time we are in Ortisei.

17/10/2025: Great view. Open early. The dining room filled up quickly, unfortunately with the smell of smoke. I have to advise against the grilled specialties – the tagliata wasn't grilled, but fried in plenty of oil. I wasn't asked if I wanted salt and pepper or another drink.

30/08/2025: Even though I don't drink wine myself, as I often travel by car and don't know much about wine, I like to stop here for a coffee or a juice. The atmosphere is very relaxed and pleasant. I would especially like to mention the great waiter and the chef, who is very communicative and relaxed. You immediately feel welcome. Highly recommended! ☕🍹

16/09/2025: Very cozy atmosphere with a fireplace, etc. The food is served quickly and is delicious! The prices are absolutely reasonable for South Tyrol! 👍

13/09/2025: Very tasty pizza, very friendly staff. The desserts are unfortunately very expensive. Unfortunately, you can't reserve a table for two people, so you have to get lucky or wait at the bar until a table becomes available. The pizzas and beer are priced similarly to other restaurants. Unfortunately, there is no affordable house wine by the glass, and the bottled wine is relatively expensive.

07/10/2025: All good, except for the furnishings: the chairs in the living room are really out of place!

16/09/2025: Cozy hut; we stopped in for a quick bite at the end of our hike. The apple strudel is highly recommended! They're all dog-friendly, too. The only drawback: I love hot chocolate with milk: they serve it here, too, but only in a small coffee cup. I find the price a bit steep. But it was delicious. It was very quiet when we were there, but we were also late and it was off-season.

05/10/2025: Clean hotel and parking available. Self-check-in is mandatory, and then they text me at 7:21 PM that I have to be at the hotel by 8:30 PM for payment... and I have to rush to the hotel, sacrificing my evening (I'm attaching a photo of the conversation). I've never received worse treatment in the hundreds of hotels I've stayed at. Arriving in Italy, after a series of hotels without a bidet, I wanted this Italian convenience, but the bathroom was missing. A pillow was never found, and was so low that I've almost never found it. In short, it needs reconsidering; for €155, I expected more. Rating: seriously inadequate. P.S. After their response, I don't think they could have found solutions even by talking, because there are underlying issues that cannot be resolved.

15/09/2025: €94 for a night in a windowless room, and the owner is a pain in the ass if you buy a takeaway sandwich for breakfast. If I ever pass through Vipiteno again, I definitely won't be back.

10/12/2025: I'm a regular at l'Murin and "La Perla," the hotel it shares management with, and to be honest, I never expected to have an experience like this. On December 6, 2025, I was at l'Murin with my friends for a typical apres-ski. The experience went smoothly until closing time. I was with a friend, and just before leaving, we were stopped by a waiter from the bar who asked me if I liked boys or girls. I should point out that the waiter in question had been very (if not overly) friendly during the apres-ski, as he had made a very playful gesture by climbing over the counter and improvising a dance with me, without even knowing me. I'm gay, and when the waiter asked me the aforementioned question before leaving, I sincerely replied that I liked boys. My response provoked an unjustifiably violent reaction from the waiter, who grabbed my drink, which was still full, and threw it at me, disappearing immediately afterward. At that point, my friend and I asked the bouncer for an explanation of this behavior, asking him to tell us who the staff manager was and asking if we could speak to him about the incident. At the bouncer's direction, we were directed to the adjacent La Perla hotel to ask for the manager, Mathias. Once we arrived at La Perla, after explaining the incident to the reception staff, we asked to speak to Mathias and were again directed to the Murin. Back at l'Murin, we explained what had happened to the bar staff and asked again where Mathias was and if we could speak to him. In response, a waiter at the counter began spraying cleaning product, first on my hands, which were resting on the counter, and then on my face. I was left speechless and unresponsive to my questions about why he was behaving this way. In response, I was thrown out by the bouncers, who also kicked and pushed me out of the bar. After this treatment, I returned to "La Perla" to inform the reception staff about the further scene of violence I had suffered and to ask again to speak to the personnel manager after learning that Mathias was no longer present at the establishment. In response to my inquiries, the staff were unable to direct me to anyone and escorted me outside, promising that they would take the matter into consideration and let us know, since we were guests at their restaurant the following evening for dinner. The next day at dinner, I was even more shocked because no one mentioned the incident or let us speak to the manager, despite having met the employee who had accompanied us outside the night before, promising they would take care of it. I'm writing this review because I'm shocked by the staff's reticence regarding such an incident of homophobic violence, and because their behavior the next day makes me believe the perpetrator went unpunished. I don't pretend to change people's minds, but I expect at least exemplary punishment to be given to those who behave in this way in these cases to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. Above all, treating the matter as if nothing had happened only encourages future aggressive behavior. I'm sincerely shocked and am even considering legal action, being certain that the aforementioned incidents were captured on video surveillance.

10/12/2025: Very nice, welcoming, traditional, pleasant place, with a staff that makes you feel at ease. I stop here often when I'm in the area. Recommended.

01/11/2025: We ordered risotto and spaghetti vongole, and none of them were tasty! We chose this restaurant because it has a rating above 4 stars, but we found it overrated. We had dinner and were a bit disappointed with our meal. The grilled vegetables, which cost 18 euros, were not fresh. Perhaps lunchtime is better. Prices are very affordable.

31/10/2025: Great restaurant! My family and I have been there three times on vacation. The food was good, and the chef and waiters are very friendly and good-looking. The atmosphere is great, or at least it is sometimes. The owner can get loud. Also, teenagers often yell at you or call you names like Joachim and others. I've never experienced anything like that in South Tyrol. And as a mother, I would never tolerate such behavior. I don't want to experience anything like that in a restaurant again. I won't be coming back. ~Rosmarie

12/10/2025: The people at the reception were very kind, but unfortunately I had a fever of 38.4°C: everyone was very attentive. Breakfast S P A Z I A L!!!

27/09/2025: We made an extra stop to visit the Gran Baita Gourmet restaurant after a great experience last year. However, with a new chef comes a new kitchen and we were quite dissapointed. There was to much experimentation going on and the “trust us” menu was nothing more than a selection of the normal menu. There were only a few nice dishes but nothing more than that. Service was great, same as last year.
