03/05/2024: Highly recommended, run by smiling and very kind girls, good dishes, perhaps you can't say abundant for the first courses if you choose the menu of the day solution, otherwise you can choose the à la carte menu. Prices are low for food. It's a restaurant for people passing through, mostly truck drivers and people who have to go back to work early, really excellent, too bad it's only open for lunch... I'll definitely be back. A greeting.

21/08/2024: The service is A+, tables are set correctly and attention is paid to order and cleanliness. Breakfast and dinner were rich and good, but you can never please everyone anyway. Traffic, as someone complained, is like in the country during the day, so it's not normally loud. In the evening it is quiet. Some guests don't know how to behave, they think they are alone, but the hotel can't help it. Boss has a memory of the finest. From day one, she was able to remember the needs of her guests. One star deducted, why? Hotel has no air conditioning. So the intermarital conflict was already resolved. (What did you book there???) Rooms are and will remain heated up. If the outside temperature is still 31°C at 11pm at night, you know how hot it is in the rooms. There was also no fan, so I had to cover myself with a towel soaked in cold water. Even my wife, who prefers to walk around in a hat and scarf in the summer, was hot. At times we slept with the room door open so that there might be some draft in the room. If not air conditioning, we would have liked at least a fan. We will visit this hotel again, but definitely not in midsummer. It has a very nice pool with a view of the valley, and the relaxation area is also great. There is a big plus point: it is a child-free hotel. Only from 14 years old. No shouting and raving, you can really relax and unwind from everyday life.

08/07/2024: Central location in the wine-growing region for (motorcycle) trips to the Dolomites and Lake Garda. Very well maintained hotel with high quality cuisine. The very attentive, approachable and humorous employees are exceptional and amazing, regardless of their background. A distinctive culture of hospitality can be experienced here.

22/03/2024: Excellent hotel. My triple room is spacious with a breathtaking view of the mountains of Val Venosta. Convenient location for the ski bus stop. Very kind staff. Excellent breakfast. They don't do dinner.

14/03/2024: In itself a solid hotel for the price (double room in March including breakfast €120). We got something else at short notice. Breakfast is solid. As others have pointed out, this is a grotesque attempt to save money. Grotesque because maximum annoyance for the guest is offset by minimal savings: - The sauna, which is very nice in itself, is only open 3 days a week (for example, if you are there Wednesday - Sunday, you have exactly 1 day of sauna) - Energy-saving lamps in the room (the ones that came out in the early 2000s and take about 30 seconds to light up) - Only 1 hairdryer per floor (those things don't cost €20...) - Motion detectors for lights switch the light on for about 10 seconds, so you are constantly in the dark The crowning glory is that only cash payment is accepted. Always leaves a bad aftertaste.

22/07/2024: The food was not impressive at all. Actually some of the worst vegetarian I’ve had. On top of that we had to wait + 50 min for our food. A tourist trap conflated as modern vegetarian.

02/03/2024: Rifugio molto bello e tipico. Abbiamo ordinato canederli e cotoletta,entrambi ottimi piatti gustosi e porzioni abbondanti. Consigliamo di andare se volete un pranzo tipico tirolese in un rifugio con una bella vista sulle montagne. Personale cortese. D’inverno non è possibile prenotare ma noi abbiamo trovato posto facilmente. Unica “pecca” è la strada che fatta in auto è molto stretta anche se tenuta bene e con spiazzi dove fermarsi per far passare le altre macchine,si consiglia di fare attenzione e di farla possibilmente con la luce del giorno. Il rifugio si può comunque raggiungere anche a piedi (con una camminata abbastanza ripida) o con gli scii. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo per il posto. Abbiamo speso 20 euro a testa circa

Capanna Alpina without polenta is already an oxymoron, but any organization can make a misstep. Let me start by saying that I love spending on food, but 14 euros for a sausage weighing perhaps 80 grams and a mixed salad is excessive in my opinion (and in any case let me spend 5 euros more and give me a normal dish). Of course I asked for extra bread, since the basket brought was tiny for five people. Beyond the answers I see are often given, believe me, not recommended. Dirty bathrooms. I CHANGE REVIEW AFTER MANAGER'S RESPONSE. No offense and I don't want to bore everyone, but I confirm the review. The bathrooms were those of the restaurant, the sausage was one (open like a book), the bread baskets were two for 5 customers. Good continuation. ..

06/08/2024: An excellent fine-dining experience in Ortisei. Yes, the price is above average, but the quantity is also huge. Plus, great service with a nice view over the mountain. Highly recommended.

05/05/2024: Siamo stati a cena in questo locale che ci ha riportato indietro nel tempo di almeno 30anni. Piatti semplici, genuini, fatti come una volta con ingredienti del posto. Da non perdere il coniglio nostrano in umido. Locale con splendida vista sulla valle. Conduzione familiare. Gentilissimi tutti. In sala la figlia Giulia porta simpatia e genuinità. Rapporto prezzo qualità imbattibile Consigliatissimo.

19/02/2024: Io e mio marito siamo stati mandati , dalla proprietaria dell’ agriturismo dove alloggiavamo, a mangiare in questo locale per 2 sere consecutive utilizzando il cofanetto wonderbox. La cucina è molto buona e semplice e il servizio eccellente. Un plauso particolare ai titolari del locale. Persone alla mano ed estremamente gentili.

26/08/2024: Not easy to review due to the obvious ups and downs that this hotel contains which needs a good refresh. Let's start from the price: the 4*S are absolutely disproportionate to the hotel's services (each star must correspond to a level of service): the (oriental) staff are kind, but inadequate for a 4*S, as are the rooms (old and not at all soundproofed), the reception (which in a 4*S must be 24 hours a day while from 6pm you will no longer find anyone (no one) as well as during the lunch break, unfortunately the cleaning in many cases is also summary in the common areas, spa and alpine village (unfortunately poorly held with cobwebs, it would be an incredible gem). Let's say it's a great 3* The cuisine is in line with expectations. No organization of excursions for guests, nor activities (another thing normally expected in a 4*S). Hope you don't meet families with children because the hotel does not have dedicated and separate spaces (pools and play areas) (especially from the spa) and there is no supervision, so you will always find them underfoot if the parents don't care. ..the only truly 4*S part is the aesthetics and the truly beautiful and well-kept massage-relaxation rooms, as well as the view. I forgot in the hotel garden there is an area dedicated to bees which is an honorable project in itself... but not recommended for those who don't like flying insects because especially at breakfast you have to share it with them. In summary, if you find offers in the low season and are looking for a good 3*, give it a try, but in the high season and if you want a 4*S I would think twice.

18/08/2024: We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Despite the wonderful location, the hotel is neglected with no air conditioning, rooms with few obsolete light sockets, unhelpful staff only a few kind and helpful Indian waiters. The owner of the hotel never even greeted us during our 5 day stay. The food had small portions and the buffet had vegetables that were not fresh.

22/08/2024: Unfortunately the pizza was a Pinsa, which was probably frozen. Nothing against Pinsa, but if pizza is on the menu, I expect it too. Slices of ham were way too thick and not very tasty. Very thick dough and overloaded! It's a shame, there used to be great pizzas! Service was very friendly!

17/07/2024: We were last in Algund about 10 years ago and also at the Bruthendler. We designed the outside area to be very modern and stylish. You sit very well and the service staff is very attentive. Food and drinks very tasty and reasonably priced. At the end there was a delicious drink on the house. We just arrived yesterday and will definitely visit at least one more time

03/07/2024: Dit restaurant is zeer centraal gelegen . De bediening is vlot en vriendelijk. De pizza’s zijn iets duurder dan elders maar de kwaliteit is prima en de locatie moet ook betaald worden . Een glas wijn (gewurztraminer) was van topkwaliteit.

29/06/2024: We went for evening drinks but Valentino our server was very rude and dismissive . Did not give us a menu when she arrived and seemed disappointed when we ordered only drinks . Will not go back there
