Beautiful alpine pasture near Prettau. The Alm is beautifully located at the top of the mountain. The path is well marked from Prettau. The hut can also be reached via Kasern if you first go towards Rötalm and then towards Bruggeralm. The Alm itself is well managed and the owners are super friendly. The food is great alpine fare and drinks are great. It's worth a visit because such alpine pastures are no longer a given. We were lucky that our grandfather played tremor for us, a great experience. We will definitely come back again

La passeggiata per arrivare alla malga dal parcheggio -del campo sportivo- di Predoi è molto bella. Si attraversa la statale e poi il ponticello di legno, si inizia a salire fin da subito su una strada forestale, passando davanti ad alcuni masi e poi si entra nel bosco. La salita è costante, a tratti più dura a tratti meno, quando gli alberi iniziano a diradarsi ci siamo quasi, dopo un po’ saremo arrivati alla malga. I proprietari sono simpatici e molto molto carini. Il menù prevede pochi piatti ma buoni e gustosi. Dopo pranzo ci si può rilassare sulle sdraie con un panorama stupendo che da sulla vallata. La consiglio assolutamente, veramente un bel posto.

Typical Alpine hut of the Aurina Valley. The interior is not very big. The bathroom is outside but quite decent. Outside there are tables and deckchairs for sunbathing. Refreshment point for breakfast, lunch and snacks. The route to get there is a forest road

E' una vera malga, pochi piatti serviti, servizio semplice. La signora è molto gentile, parla poco italiano ma è disponibile. Piatti semplici ma davvero molto gustosi. E poi il panorama da lì è davvero splendido!

Exceptional malga with an outstanding view! The place felt very genuine and the food was delicious. The pressknödel with grey cheese were very tasty, and the kaiserschmarrn were very well cooked. Overall we had a great experience, the host was very kind and we were very impressed by her service, considering she was working alone. On top of that, the lovely dog of the malga greeted us when we arrived. I definitely recommend!

Antica malga mantenuta uguale nel tempo . Oltre che il sapore antico si traspira l'ambiente di oltralpe con bandiera e stemma austriaco in bellavista. La gestore parla pochissime parole di italiano e rende ancora meno italica la location. Buono il formaggio grigio (graukase) con cipolle a fettine . Spettacolare la kaiserschmarren e lo speck . Bravi !

11/03/2024: Is the pizzeria still there? Was there 1 year ago and heard about the tunnel project. I would like to purchase the property.
18/02/2024: Great food, the chef's pizza makes your mouth water and we were lucky enough to be able to order a juicy pork knuckle off the menu...very friendly hosts. Large parking lot also suitable for campers. Always happy

10/01/2024: Il ristorante ha riaperto. Luogo storico di Carezza passato in più gestioni. Attualmente Lucia e Desirée stanno gestendo un luogo caratterizzato da interni caratteristici con muri di pietra a vista, tavoli di legno panche … semplice ma in stile Montanaro. Camino acceso e griglia in bella vista. Profumo di legno e clima famigliare. Loro gentilissime e sorridenti. All’ ingresso panchine con anche un po’ di ristoro per gli amici a 4 zampe. Cibo ottimo per qualità e modalità di cottura. Grigliata ottima per qualità e quantità (non troppa né troppo poca). Dolce +++ Prenotare per la sera xe locale piccolo, a pranzo prenotare perché sé non hanno gente dopo un po’ chiudono. Posto un po’ defilato ma a 5 minuti scarsi dalle piste e sé tanta neve ci si arriva con gli sci girando dalla chiesetta. In estate appena dietro il grand Hotel Carezza. Consigliatissimo. Prezzo circa 30-40€ a testa ma Ben spesi.
04/01/2024: Non è chiuso !!! È una piccola oasi in mezzo alla neve! Accogliente! Il camino è top!!! Cibo sopra la media!! Fantastico! Torneremo!!!!
