05/10/2025: A venerable, small hotel. Family-run, very loving and friendly. Upscale, excellent cuisine. The rooms are a bit older, but definitely have charm and are very clean. The pool and wellness area are new and modern.

03/10/2025: About the restaurant: Big prices, small portions. Not recommended.

17/02/2026: On Saturday, February 14, I entered this pastry shop at 5:59 PM sharp to buy two krapfen to go. The clerk was already preparing them when someone who appeared to be the owner intervened: first he said something to her in German, then turned to me, saying that the shop was closed, that they had already closed the register and that they could no longer sell me anything. Too bad that a customer at the next register was still paying. So I'd call the owner RUDE, A LIAR, and probably also a terrible business owner, given that the counter was still full of products and there was no sign of an imminent closure, so much so that the door was open. I left without a fuss and, shortly after, I saw the same owner pass by me with a tray full of krapfen. Truly ridiculous and unprofessional. They should learn to close the door. I won't be returning.

20/01/2026: A wonderful cafe. Brilliant pastries, cakes, bread and more. Coffee was very nice and prices are very fair. One of the best cafes in South Tyrol!

08/12/2025: A retro-style restaurant serving typical Trentino dishes. We really enjoyed the canederli and ravioli. The charcuterie platter was incredibly generous, something I rarely see. The young woman serving the tables was always kind and smiling. The restaurant is also popular with locals. Ample parking outside. Prices are reasonable and reasonable. We'd happily return if we were to have the opportunity.

16/02/2026: I stayed at the Hotel Hartmann in Ortisei and the experience was simply spectacular. The hotel has an intimate and refined atmosphere, perfect for those seeking relaxation and tranquility. Everything is extremely tidy and meticulously maintained, from the common areas to the rooms, which are tastefully furnished with contemporary Alpine elegance. One of its strong points is undoubtedly the free transfer service to the ski lifts, extremely convenient and punctual. Its proximity to the lifts makes the hotel perfect for both winter skiers and those who want to explore the Dolomites in the summer without stress. The real surprise, however, was the view from the room: simply sensational. Waking up with the Dolomites before your eyes is a feeling difficult to describe. In short: an elegant, welcoming, and perfectly organized hotel, ideal for a quality stay in Ortisei. I would return without hesitation. 🌿🏔️

11/02/2026: I stayed here for 1 night. We arrived in the night, but this hotel felt so cozy and nice. It was such an experience. They have a bar named honesty bar, where you can serve a lot of drinks like coffee, cocktai, beer etc. The spa has such a vibe. Is very nice. They provide everything for you. I totally recomand it

09/03/2026: I love this Hotel but the service was terrible when I visited solo last week. I had to wait so long no eye contact walked by me many times. Felt so uncomfortable . In the end instead of lunch I opted for espresso and dessert espresso came 10 minutes later the dessert no apology no explanation. Very disapointing

24/02/2026: Surreal evening. After spending over €200 at the bar, a girl spilled a drink on me. Instead of intervening professionally, the staff grabbed me by the arm and threw me out, without even hearing what had happened. They held me by the elbow as if I were the problem, while the person who caused the scene remained calmly inside. Kudos to you for your impartiality. If this is how to handle conflict situations, then the priority is not fairness but appearance. A clear double standard. In a reputable bar, both sides are listened to, especially when a customer has just left over €200. Here, however, the decision is based on who is best protected. I won't be returning. Professionalism is another matter.

03/03/2026: If you happen to be vacationing in the area and have forgotten that kitchens generally all close at 9 or 10 PM, even in the city, this place can be your lifesaver for a quick, last-minute dinner: the kitchen stays open until late! After wandering far and wide to find a place to eat, we finally arrived at this establishment late in the evening. The staff welcomed us kindly and quickly got us dinner without too much fuss or rushing. We ate pizza and some traditional Tyrolean dishes, and I must say that everything was cooked perfectly and the pizza was truly delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the place overall was very spacious, clean, and well-kept.

23/02/2026: Idyllic and quiet location in the original village near the church with wonderful views of the Langkofel mountain, excellent transport links via the bus stop only 80 m away.

17/02/2026: Extremely charming hotel, the staff goes above and beyond and provides incredible service. Everyone is friendly creating a very homey feeling! Reaching the slopes was very easy with their daily shuttle. Highly recommend it, Santa Cristina is also a beautiful and quaint village

28/02/2026: Simply the worst food I ever had in Italy. The waiters were nice, that's the only positive thing I can tell about the place. If you are not starving and you have no other choice, avoid this place.

24/02/2026: A large restaurant where you can eat or drink until midnight (which is especially common on weekends). It's usually possible to get a table for two without a reservation, but it's recommended. They offer great Mexican dishes and a wide selection of pizzas, including some unusual varieties, all at very reasonable prices. It can get a bit chaotic when it's busy, but the staff makes up for it with humor and friendliness, and the wait times are perfectly acceptable.

25/06/2025: L’estetica dell’edificio ha fatto molto Discutere. Eravamo curiosi di verificare di persona come fosse stato costruito il nuovo rifugio. Dall’esterno ammetto che non eravamo così convinti di sostare qui. In realtà è stata una piacevole scoperta la maxi terrazza con panorama mozzafiato. L’interno è completamente in legno, personale gentile e disponibile. Prezzi nella media. Porzioni abbondanti e piatti curati ( anche se la scelta è limitata , non fanno praticamente secondi… solo pasta, panini e taglieri). Nel complesso siamo stati bene, sosta consigliata dopo trekking impegnativo/ferrata.

05/10/2025: This review only applies to the restaurant! We received a warm welcome and enjoyed delicious, regional food. It's in a fantastic location high above Appiano and Bolzano, with views of the Dolomites. The farm has been family-owned for over 200 years.
