08/08/2025: Four of us dined at this restaurant with a fixed menu. All traditional Ladin dishes. Personally, I would end the dinner with a dessert other than the one they served (fritters with blueberry jam or apple puree), perhaps a sorbet or fresh gelato to finish the meal. The service was quick, and the lady who served us carefully explained each dish. Parking is exclusively for the restaurant. The Cancin with ricotta and spinach is highly recommended: you can season it with poppy seeds or parmesan cheese. The shank was delicious and almost melted in your mouth. Definitely a place worth trying!!!

19/07/2025: Siamo stati più volte al caffè e ristorante "Val d'Anna", che si è confermato un'oasi di pace e... golosità, per le proposte culinarie. Ottimamente attrezzato anche per le famiglie con bambini piccoli e piccolissimi con giochi e fasciatoio a portata di mano, questo punto di ristoro mette gratuitamente a disposizione dei clienti chaise-longue, lettini e ombrelloni che sono posizionati in una grande area verde, anche sulla sponda del fiume che scorre lì vicino. Servizio sempre gentile e cortese, il che non guasta certo. È facilmente e piacevolmente raggiungibile a piedi facendo una breve passeggiata lungo un cammino pure attrezzato a dovere, a iniziare dal piacevole percorso Kneipp e comprendente pure una grande area dedicata ai giochi per i bambini. Che dire d'altro? Che lì al "Val d'Anna" si sta proprio bene e pure ci si può rilassare e ristorare con soddisfazione per tutti i sensi.

15/07/2025: Este es un buen lugar para tomar una copa o una comida. Está al final de un sendero que comienza cerca del Teleférico Seceda en Ortisei y corre junto a un río. Es un paseo fácil. 14/08/2025: Positive points to note: - Good impression upon arrival (avenue-like access, plenty of shaded parking spaces, modern facade with outdoor seating); we liked the hotel at first glance. - The gardens with playground and pool area are beautifully landscaped, located in the middle of the vineyards, with plenty of loungers and very clean. - Dinner and service in the restaurant were impressive; the quality of the food is good; the wine selection is excellent. What we didn't like so much: - Reception: The reception area is very dated; the furniture and design are cobbled together from the past few decades. In 4-star hotels, we are used to being served a welcome drink during check-in, rather than having to stand next to the reception desk while all your ID details are entered into the system. - The bar with seating in the entrance area is poorly staffed all day. Even in the evening, shortly before dinner, you wait a very long time before anyone even comes to ask if you would like a drink. At a "later" hour (directly after dinner), you feel like an unwelcome guest because the staff would rather call it a night. - At first glance, the hotel makes a modern impression; this is also consistently conveyed on the website. However, as soon as you enter the hotel, you can see from the reception area, hallways, basement, staircase, elevator, and, unfortunately, also the rooms that the hotel is very dated. The online service and the pictures in the booking confirmation give a completely different impression than the reality (see comparison of the picture from the booking confirmation and the photo of our room). - Reception: Information was very sparse and only provided upon request, and upon departure, the staff didn't seem to care whether we enjoyed our stay.

30/08/2025: I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. Due to an unexpected flight delay of over 4 hours, I was unable to make my reservation. When I contacted the hotel, they showed no flexibility or understanding of the situation. No options were offered: no alternative date, no partial refund, not even a gesture of goodwill. Their response was simply: you paid in full, no refund. For a hospitality business, I would have expected at least some willingness to work with the customer in exceptional circumstances. Unfortunately, the lack of empathy and customer service means I will not be booking with this hotel again

23/08/2025: We stayed here for one night while passing through because of its proximity to the Brenner Autobahn. A fantastic hotel, absolutely clean, and an excellently sized room. Parking is available behind the hotel and there's a huge rooftop terrace with a whirlpool and loungers (unfortunately, only open until 7 p.m.).

02/03/2025: Ich bin während dem Skifahren hier spontan eingekehrt. Ehrlich gesagt nur aufgrund der Namensgleicheit. Ich dachte, mit dem namen, kanns ja nur gut sein. So war es auch. Ich wurde freundlich begrüßt und platziert. Der Service war schnell, und aufmerksam. Zwischendurch dauertes es mal etwas länger, aber die Terrasse war voll, von daher ok. Die Speisen waren gut und reichlich. Ich denke, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. An die Meckererin den anderen Bewertungen bzgl. der hohen Preise. Leider ist es nicht nur hier sehr teuer geworden und sondern leider überall. Jagertee für 6 Euro, Cheeseburger für 24 habe ich woanders zahlen müssen. Das ist heute leider der Standard. Das liegt nicht an den Wirten, sondern an den exorbitanten Preissteigerungen bei Energie, Personal und Rohstoffe. Was im Supermarkt teurer wird, ist natürlich auch für den Wirt teurer. OK, nach dem Schwenk wieder zurück: Die Daniel Hütte ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Den fantastischen Blick auf Lang- und Plattkofel gibt es übrigens gratis dazu.

16/08/2025: Discovered by chance. We were craving pizza and stumbled upon this place by chance. Even the walk there through an apple orchard was dreamy. The selection is excellent for all ages, the prices are attractive, and there's an indoor and outdoor playground. The friendly staff served us well and showed me the apartments exclusively. They even included a pool. We'll definitely be back and would happily recommend this place.

15/08/2025: The answer on the phone was: 'You won't make it until 9 p.m. anyway, so you don't need to come.' In fact, according to the menu, you can order pizza until 9:29 p.m. – and hot meals until 8:59 p.m. We arrived on time and ordered before 9 a.m. This time, the lumberjack steak, unfortunately, didn't have sausage like in previous years and on the menu, but it was still super quick and delicious. The schnapps was great, and the children's playground is also suitable for adults. We'll be back – there's no real alternative in the region.

Als Biotop bietet es zahlreichen seltenen Pflanzen und gefährdeten Tierarten ein Refugium. Es ist Rückzugsort und unersetzlicher Lebensraum für über 200 Vogelarten, aber auch für Lurche und Amphibien, Nattern, Fische und Wasserinsekten.) liegt die große Gaststätte mit einer größeren Innenhof, der aber keinen besonderen Ausblick bietet, aber bei warmen Wetter doch sehr angenehm ist.. Der Gastraum ist ganz angenehm ausgestattet, eine große Bar. Das Essen war für Meraner Verhältnisse nicht zu teuer und schmackhaft. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell. Etwas unfreundlich die Chefin und der Kassierer.
