28/07/2024: I was passing through, and looking for a takeaway pizzeria on Maps I chose this one. Right choice! I took a Pizza degli Elfi (gorgonzola, mushrooms, bacon) with double dough, 540g of dough (as explained to me by the pizza chef) with perfect cooking (congratulations, because it's not obvious) and in general the pizza was very good. Excellent value for money. If I pass through here again, I will always come back to you!

Excellent quality cured meats that are difficult to find elsewhere (such as San Giovanni cooked ham, or Parma ham, although unfortunately like everywhere in Bolzano with too short maturation) which unfortunately are often not sliced ​​or cleaned properly, probably due to the inexperience of the personal or for the type of slicer used. Professional, fast and courteous service, well-cooked pizzas with excellent ingredients, more than fair prices. The outdoor area where you can eat during the summer is very nice. 27/08/2023: We met up with friends there in July because of the good reviews. In addition to Italian, the young bartender only speaks English very, very poorly. A colleague/guest helped because there was no card. We let ourselves be surprised and only specified the rough flavor (vodka, rum, fruit). Despite different orders, we all had the same cocktail, which didn't necessarily taste good. But we were relaxed, in the holiday mood and ready to give the bartender a second chance. So we ordered internationally famous cocktails: Swimming Pool and Pina Colada. We then thought nothing could go wrong. The swimming pool consisted of 1 cup of cream and was so disgusting that I probably won't drink it again for years. A dried orange slice was thrown in as decoration. My friends had a similar experience with the Pina Colada. And because there was no map, we didn't know the prices in advance. The total price was absolutely outrageous and there was no bill either. I can only advise every tourist away from this bar. Worst cocktail bar I've ever visited.

29/03/2024: Two weeks ago we stayed at the hotel for a week with friends in a tour group. The friendliness of the staff, the owner family, the spacious, clean rooms and the excellent food convinced us to book this hotel again next winter! Then for the 4th time!!

21/03/2024: Horrible experience with an aggressive hotel manager My wife and I spent a week at Hotel Table. We have known the hotel and especially the café for over 20 years and have been hotel guests several times in the summer. When we arrived on Sunday, our bathroom with a window, which faced the outside wall, was completely cold. We reported this and were told that this could not be the case as the thermostat on the computer showed 22° flow for the bathroom. On Monday morning I met the caretaker in the hallway and told him that the bathroom was still freezing cold. The caretaker checked the inspection shaft in front of the room and couldn't find anything. At 8:00 a.m. I went to see Director Pescosta and, visibly annoyed, he told me that his thermostat on the computer was still showing 22° and it couldn't be that our bathroom was cold. His wife Annamaria promised me that they would still check this during the day and have it fixed if necessary. When we returned around 4 p.m. the bathroom was still ice cold and Mr. Pescosta and the caretaker then checked the inlet in front of the room more closely and it turned out that the spigot was jammed and therefore no heat could get into the bathroom . My wife then angrily told Mr. Pescosta that we weren't liars and that he had simply ignored our complaints and not taken care of anything. Mr. Pescosta then freaked out in the hallway in front of the room, shouted that he wouldn't accept this criticism and that we wanted to leave the hotel immediately. When my wife went back into the room, Mr. Pescosta illegally gained entry into the room with his lock card, despite my presence and my objections!! He said that this is his hotel and he can do whatever he wants at any time. I managed to take him to the lobby on the ground floor and he went completely crazy there. He insulted my wife several times in her absence, among other things with the statement: "The chick doesn't sleep in the bathroom, but in the bed and shouldn't act like that when the bathroom is cold." It should be mentioned here that my wife and I am around 60 years old, Mr. Pescosta should be around 80 years old. Normally we would have left immediately, but we were tired, it was getting close to evening, we had already bought the ski passes for 7 days and the place was almost fully booked. The next day, his wife Annamaria told us that it was up to us to leave if we no longer felt welcome in the hotel. Since the bathroom was now slowly getting warmer and the staff were very nice and we always felt comfortable in the hotel, we stayed. On Tuesday night the bath was lukewarm at 20° and only after a hydraulics specialist professionally adjusted the inlet did it finally become pleasantly warm in the bath after 2 days. Mr. Pescosta has been avoiding us all week, he even turned around on the stairs when he met us. His behavior was embarrassing and not worthy of a hotelier. His insults were outrageous and misogynistic. We waited in vain for an apology from him for 5 days, which is why we now have this review. We learned from another source that Mr. Pescosta had celebrated his birthday on the day of the escalation and was away from home during the day. This scandal occurred in the afternoon. Mr. Pescosta is strongly recommended to at least hand over the management of the hotel as soon as possible and, if at all, to move exclusively in the background. About the hotel itself: The positive aspects are the staff, the beautiful café, the cleanliness and the food in the hotel. The negative aspects are the uncomfortable dining room in the basement, the very cramped buffet room and the fact that you have to get your own coffee, cappuccino, etc. from a single machine for all hotel guests. You are also expected to hand in your car keys at reception.
