Nice place, but we didn't manage to eat anything because we arrived at the busiest time when the bar is closed and the restaurant isn't open yet. But the worst thing was the owner's gruff and unfriendly attitude.

Very good food at reasonable prices in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, it's self-service, and I was unlucky enough to have to wait in line forever. The kitchen staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, and the woman at the buffet/food counter spent almost 20 minutes yelling (at the kitchen staff, but also at guests). Things were a bit friendlier at the bar.

A beautifully situated mountain restaurant with good food at fair prices. Easily accessible by car via a good mountain road or via a pleasant, easy hiking trail.

I've been going there in the winter for a few years now to make ice there at Armentarola. It's a nice, warm place to chat with friends after a great day on the ice!

Ristorante Pizzeria RIEGA

14/07/2026: During our stay in Sesto, we chose to have lunch and dinner at Riega on two occasions, and both times, the experience was truly excellent! The restaurant is very well-kept and welcoming, with a perfect balance between typical South Tyrolean style and a touch of modernity. The rooms, characterized by wood and details reminiscent of mountain tradition, immediately convey a pleasant feeling of warmth and familiarity. Furthermore, the splendid view of the Dolomites makes lunch or dinner even more evocative and relaxing. The cuisine convinced us on both visits: the dishes were prepared with quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. The service was also always friendly, helpful, and attentive, making us feel welcome, even when we arrived close to closing time. The fact that we returned twice during the same holiday speaks for itself. If I were to return to Sesto, Riega would definitely be one of my first choices. A restaurant I recommend without a doubt!
16/06/2026: The food was truly excellent and the orange juice tasted like it was freshly squeezed 😋🍕 Unfortunately, the egg on the pizza was still raw and the service seemed like they didn't care at all.
