01/05/2026: First time visit. Wonderful quiet peaceful location. Good escape. Sit inside and enjoy the staff and atmosphere. We had the bruschetta and cheese. Two pasta dishes were tasty and really good as well. We were made to feel so welcome like family.

10/04/2026: I stumbled upon this place for the first time during Lucca Comics 2019, and the first thing that struck me was the atmosphere, which, though small, is very welcoming and warm. Their pizza is the second thing that stuck with me! Thin, crispy, with truly tasty ingredients. The staff is always incredibly friendly, even despite the incredible chaos during the comics season, and they make you feel at home! Today I came here to eat with my girlfriend, for the first time outside of the comics festival atmosphere, and I can confirm that I'm only more convinced that this is my favorite place to eat in Lucca! Delicious appetizers, always top-notch pizza, excellent service! Highly recommended!

12/06/2026: Just been for lunch. We had been for an evening dinner last week and it was fine. Nice but ok. Today we went for lunch. The starters are about €10 and the mains €22. The portions are quite small and the food was only luke warm. It tasted nice but it's expensive for what you get. In the evening you get a bread bag but no oil or butter so it's quite dry to eat. Maybe your supposed to eat it with your main meal but then why serve it so early? Also the portions are so small there's not much sauce to soak up the bread with. No bread provided today at lunch time. Service is ok but like most Italian towns and villages there's no rush. I wish we had ordered 2 starters instead of a starter and a main. Same amount of food but cheaper.

15/01/2026: Villa Grey was a wonderful surprise. The property is meticulously maintained and is less than a 20-minute walk from the central Via Carducci. The room we booked has a balcony and is located on the third floor. It offers a variety of amenities: a coffee machine, complimentary water, Sky TV, toiletries, slippers for the beach and the room, and a beach bag. We took advantage of the beach-accessible reservation, and we were more than satisfied with this as well. The location is beautiful (the beach is in front of the hotel). It is well-maintained, with two sun loungers, two deckchairs, a table, a safe, and a chair. Towels are included. The beach restaurant is excellent! All the staff, both at the hotel and on the beach, are friendly and helpful. There is a paid shuttle service and free bicycles. My husband and I usually stay in 5-star hotels, but I must say that at Villa Grey, we didn't regret choosing this accommodation.

27/09/2025: The Villa Grey was one of the best hotel stays we ever had. The room was clean, beautiful, well designed and modern. Not to mention incredible water views. The amenities and food services were excellent. The staff was top notch, wonderful and friendly. Not mention an incredible location being seconds from a stylish beach club. The whole feel was second to none. We will be back to the Villa Grey in our next stay in Forte Dei Marmi.

07/05/2026: The atmosphere is refined, and the service is prompt and courteous, although the number of customers on the night I dined there made it slow. I had higher expectations for the food: the flavors were good, but the dishes were barely warm.

14/04/2026: An incredible selection of homemade, oven-baked pizzas. There's something for everyone. The dough is amazing and the tomato sauce is delicious. The service is warm and welcoming; I 100% recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

18/05/2026: I saw this pizzeria being born. Returning after a long time was a good idea. The pizza is fragrant and crispy, and the prices are more than fair. Even though there were quite a few people in front of me, I didn't have to wait long. They're very organized. Finally, I can say that good wood-fired pizza still exists! See you next time 😉

12/08/2026: We spent two evenings there, ate well, on the second evening the manager, a very good guy and very attentive to detail, recommended the Catalan to us and I must say it was an excellent choice.

11/08/2026: about ten times a night they brought the wrong food and were still surprised when we told them and when they brought us the right food an hour later it was terrible my dad had fish that was literally swimming in oil and I had some ice cream with caramelized fruit and it was as thick as grandma's compote and they still charge me a lot of money for it

26/07/2026: We had dinner here yesterday before seeing a show at the Lucca Summer Festival. The location is very central and the service is fast. All the stars go to the waitress, Giada, who was very kind. She recommended the platters (good and very generous), and served us with kindness and warmth. This is important for those who want to relax and enjoy a lovely evening, and especially not a given, given that her colleague, annoyed at having to find us a table, practically rudely threw the ashtray on the table (we don't even smoke!). Ignoring the rude gesture, the overall rating is positive: the platters were good, and the rest of the staff was courteous.

16/02/2026: Pleasant and tasty lunch, prepared by friendly and smiling staff, with short wait times. Wall outlets for cell phone chargers and even USB ports are available. It's a shame the bathroom is out of order due to the incivility of this place. Highly recommended.

28/07/2026: I enjoyed the appetizers and the first course; the prawns were good but difficult to clean. The service was prompt and the restaurant was comfortable with air conditioning. Prices were quite reasonable.

27/07/2026: Personally, I really like the Hong Kong restaurant. The prices are excellent and competitive, and the portions are generous. They have a handy takeout menu where you can find everything. I love their grilled rice with vegetables. I've eaten it both in-store, where it arrives on a reheated plate, and for takeout, where they provide a large, roomy container filled to the brim. The spring rolls, rice dumplings, steamed bread, Chinese flatbread, and spaghetti are also delicious. My brother is a fan of Cantonese rice, and the way they make it here is truly special! The single-serving spicy sauces are also very good. They're very quick with takeout. One time, the phone wasn't working to order, so we went in. Within 15 minutes, several dishes were ready. The staff is very kind and friendly. They always give us a box to take away the containers so we don't have to worry about having to grab the bag. The parking lot has plenty of space given its location, or there's a school parking lot nearby, and it's easy to find a spot on weekends. The place is clean and well-kept, decorated in an oriental style and truly charming. I love the little fish swimming happily at the entrance. Dishes are served quickly, and they're very careful to allow for adequate breaks between courses, never too long and in fact just right.
