The dough is amazing and the tomato sauce is delicious. The service is warm and welcoming; I 100% recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

07/02/2026: Friendly atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff. Welcoming and very cheerful. Places with a wide selection of both classic Neapolitan beers with a crust and low-fat ones. Excellent product quality. Decent selection of bottled beers, in addition to the standard, bland commercial beers, you can also try something unique.
Private parking is available, which is another plus.
The fixtures in the only bathroom could use a little updating; they're a bit worn, but they're clean.
Overall rating: Given the simplicity of the setting and the features, I give it a
8 1/2 recommended.
P.S. Another VERY IMPORTANT aspect: they also make gluten-free pizza.
02/01/2026: Excellent pizzeria just outside the center of Porcari. The pizza is very good, and you can choose between a thick crust or a regular crust. The toppings are excellent, and the delivery time is reasonable. The prices are slightly higher than other pizzerias, but that's acceptable given the quality. The staff is also friendly and helpful. The place isn't huge inside, but it does have a nice outdoor patio. I highly recommend it!

What can I say... Bad, really bad.
The place was confusing. No menu at the table. A girl came to take our order and told us the appetizer was cold cuts, cheeses, and crostini.
They brought us a platter with 2 slices of mortadella, 2 slices of prosciutto, 2 pieces of cold and dry frittata, 2 inedible flans, and 2 frozen crostini with 4 pieces of cold focaccia. No cheeses.
Then the tagliata was overcooked, and what's more, with pieces of meat that didn't belong on the same slice (basically recycled leftovers).
With limp fries.
1 glass of wine and water for a total of €28 per person.
I don't recommend it and we won't be back.
We felt cheated.
The meat used to be good, but now it's not.

06/05/2026: The food was partly good, partly unenjoyable. My tartare tasted a bit funny, the ragu Tagliatelle was nice, there were olives inside which didn't particularly serve my taste but generally it was ok. My partners ribs were a big mistake - very hard cooked with barley any mean on them - after we complained, the dish was not added to the bill, which I found professional. Prices on the higher side, staff was polite.
01/05/2026: We had a great time with the location and restaurant. We had lunch with appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts, and they were all delicious. Congratulations.

15/02/2026: Delicious food in a family atmosphere. Chicken and potatoes cooked in a wood-fired oven—amazing! The wine and olive oil, produced by the owner, are excellent. The price is fair. I recommend it!
11/01/2026: What can I say... don't stop at appearances... just stop... a place from another time, it feels like eating in a shop from the 60s with background music from those years... Filomena seems like your aunt who when you go to visit her doesn't send you away unless she rolls... eight appetizers, two extraordinary first courses (homemade tordelli and tagliatelle with mushrooms), second course with roast chicken, roast potatoes and roast pork), to finish, after asking for mercy, contucci and limoncello with grapefruit jam... all for only €30...

15/11/2025: One of our favorite places. Even in autumn and winter—or perhaps even better than in summer. A rustic atmosphere and very attentive service. Great classics of Versilia tradition. A fine wine cellar, too.

12/10/2025: We wanted to go out for pizza, but I don't know if it was my Napoli jersey that didn't go down well or the fact that we're French, but at 6:30 p.m. we were turned away on the pretext that it was full for that evening. We walked past it again two hours later, and there was someone sitting at a table on the terrace.

09/10/2025: I'd been there before for dinner with friends. The appetizer was delicious and the pizza was excellent (I ordered the Picasso pizza). I highly recommend the babà for dessert. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. We went during the week. The atmosphere was clean and very nice.

12/10/2025: We arrived in Piazza dell'Anfiteatro and found ourselves in front of the restaurant da Cicci. Cristina and the owner Paolo welcomed us like family. The place is very nice and well-kept.
The porchetta and the Fiorentina are truly delicious. I highly recommend it. The wine is excellent. It's a must-try every time we return to Lucca.
12/10/2025: Three sandwiches with only porchetta, a can of Coke, and a can of water for a total of €36
Highly not recommended!!

23/03/2026: Monte Magno: An ideal climb to warm up. There's a drinking fountain at the top with a beautiful view.
03/02/2026: A quick stop on a bike tour, everything was fine.
Recommended for breaks like mine for passing cyclists. I'd gladly return.

03/03/2026: In my opinion this was an average, slightly above what I would expect from fast food, pizza. Too much cheese, the dough was rather the flatter american type.
Of course I bare in mind that I've ordered half a pizza, so it wasn't a fresh one.
The booth outside smelled a bit musty.
Its early March not August, and my opinion hopefully is constructive enough, stating my subjective impressions.
03/03/2026: We each ordered half a pizza, each a different one, and each was dissatisfied.
The ingredients were low-quality and scattered all over the place.
I highly recommend this place. It's better to wait until 5:30 PM until siesta is over and go to a better restaurant.

02/01/2026: Delicious pizza with a low crust, generous, high-quality toppings, and fast service. Takeout is always on time, too. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are below average. The location is a bit small, but the restrooms are decent. Highly recommended if you're in the area, and beyond!
