The atmosphere is really nice and pleasant, with tableside coffee at an above-average price (€2 per table), although the atmosphere justifies it. If it had been significantly cheaper, it would have been 5 stars. Recommended, though.

Nice bar in the center. Prices are reasonable given the location, around €7 for drinks (Negroni, Americano, etc.) and €6 for glasses of wine (white). A small appetizer is also served.

We were strolling around Lucca's historic center and decided to stop at this location for a Saturday aperitif. It was an excellent choice; we found the staff friendly, helpful, and the food excellent.

Highly recommended for a lunch stop if you're in Lucca. The "La Spenta" stuffed focaccia from Lucca is excellent, with grilled vegetables in oil and very fresh mozzarella. Delicious and crunchy. All washed down with a Spritz! Viviana, the entire staff, and the owner Giovanni and his mother, who offered us a digestive, were very friendly. Our rating is 10+1.

12/06/2026: The food is average, overpriced, and the service is terrible. The desserts are good, and the dessert dueo is good.
11/06/2026: Breakfast is very good and reasonably priced, but we were disappointed in the evening. The prices were high, the portions small, and while the food tasted good, it was nothing special. It was annoying that the waiter came by every two minutes and stared at the table, so we couldn't have any peace. I'd gladly come back for breakfast, but otherwise, Fappani isn't worth the money. The location and surroundings, however, are wonderful.

19/05/2026: The food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant has a calm environment, a good location, and very friendly staff. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended — five stars!
