They wanted to use all the fonts available in a computer making it very difficult to read… keep it simple because the number of pizza choices is incredible but it takes ages to decide and to find vegetarian options. Best pizza in the valley.

04/02/2025: Negative experience, we came here on Sunday, the place was practically empty, they told us that they would prepare one of the free tables for us (there were 3 of us, an adult and two children, ed.), but then they came back from the kitchen and told us that the table they had prepared for us was needed to add to a table and so we had to go elsewhere without being able to eat.

06/02/2025: This is a lovely little bistro in the middle of the main Piazza in Pietrasanta. Now usually I don’t go to a place with less than 4 starts in google but this time 4 of my friends had a steak here and they said it was amazing and I was so happy I did. Sometimes you have to lean into your discomfort. I ordered only the steak with a side of spinach, a glass of their homemade house red and finished off a basket of bread socked with olive oil. Also the oil is homemade and if I could I would bathe in it.. I loved it!! And I only eat steak once or twice a year, so I’m so happy that I tried it here. I wish I could comment on the rest of the menu but I went there expressly to taste what my friends were all raving about. One of my friends went there 3 days in a row and ate the steak. Once was enough for me because I don’t have the digestive power I used to have.

22/01/2025: Pizza buona ma prezzi alti e cameriere troppo insistente, di quelli che non ti lasciano in pace se non prendi più cose… una chiacchiera continua. Volevamo due pizze e ci siamo ritrovate con un antipasto fuori menù da 16 euro e due coperti da 4 euro ciascuno.. etc

02/03/2025: Abbiamo pranzato bene. Prezzi giusti nella norma. Ho mangiato le ali di razza ed un ottimo risotto allo scoglio. Dolce buono con cioccolato fondente.

29/01/2025: When I can I always go there for lunch, the food is simple, good and genuine. It's like entering a family's home, always greeted with a smile. Fast service, wide choice of first courses and dishes with side dishes. The house wine in bulk is also good. Excellent quality - price ratio.

23/03/2025: Ho preso un filetto e verdure alla griglia. COTTE BENE E GUSTOSE. Ci tengo a questa recensione perché sono stato in alcuni ristornati "gourmet" della zona e - oltre che pagare il doppio per la stessa cosa - ho mangiato molto peggio. Al Viale si mangia bene, c'è cortesia e un aria semplice, di comunità. Per chi oaice questo tipo di ambiente allora vale davvero la pena. E se invece vi importa di mangiare bene allora l'OK vale per tutti

17/04/2025: It's a nice place, the cuisine is traditional, the dishes are quite generous. Downside, the service is a little slow, quite a bit of waiting. Decent service. Good value for money.

20/10/2024: Elisa and Federico 09.28.2024 We are very happy with our choice because it met, or rather exceeded, our expectations! Very helpful in organizing the event, they took care of every detail with passion and professionalism! We used many different environments to make every moment special, alternating outside and inside, we also had the symbolic ceremony in the garden. Very valid plan B in case of bad weather. It was a beautiful day that we will never forget! Thanks Brunella and thanks Marco!!!

12/10/2024: Conosciamo e frequentiamo questo ristorante da tanti anni, ed abbiamo deciso io e mio marito di organizzare da loro un pranzo con amici in occasione del nostro 20 anniversario di matrimonio... Non finiremo mai di ringraziare la Taverna per aver realizzato un evento in un modo così... perfetto...curato nei minimi dettagli, con grande professionalità e abilità culinaria , che già tantissimi partecipanti hanno elogiato !! Siete stati davvero... speciali!!! Avete anche avuto la gentilezza di permettere ai nostri ospiti di ammirare il vostro splendido presepe meccanico... davvero una giornata indimenticabile!!!! 15/02/2025: Siamo arrivati alle 14.30 ben accolti da personale e titolare gentile e cortese. Il cibo secondo la cucina tipica toscana era squisito a prezzi non cari. Lo consigliamo decisamente.

05/01/2025: Siamo stati in questo posto a pranzo e poi ci siamo tornati per cena, perché abbiamo trovato piatti tipici cucinati al momento e gustosi. Hanno assecondato le mie richieste per trovare piatti senza lattosio per la mia intolleranza. Ci siamo trovati in un ambiente familiare molto accogliente, con personale gentile e affabile. Anche i nostri bambini hanno apprezzato molto. Purtroppo l'abbiamo trovato solo l'ultimo giorno della vacanzina altrimenti saremmo venuti anche altre volte. Se torneremo a Lucca ci torneremo sicuramente.
