12/05/2026: We had a Campari spritz and a Chinotto (non alcoholic) without even one crisp or an olive and were charged 16€! Go to Giglio Porto instead where you’ll pay half the price and lots of nibbles are included. Complete ripoff.

17/08/2025: You have to be incredibly patient for a first course that lasted over an hour and a half, sitting at a table between 8:45 and 10:15 PM, then for the second course after 10 minutes, we hadn't even finished the first course. I won't comment on the food because I was so annoyed I didn't even feel like eating. I would have left, but out of respect for others, I stayed seated. In the end, not even an explanation was given; in fact, I was wrong. Anyway, the girl at the tables was very kind and sweet, and you could tell she was having trouble. Nice and clean place, but the wait times were excessively long. No more than 5/6 tables in the dining room. Negative experience.

24/07/2026: Go somewhere else, a place for daddy's kids: 🤣 Nothing special (Bread that says freshly made) simply reheated😒 hamburger normally edible ingredients that season the hamburger practically insufficient inside there was even an onion peel (and oh well 🤣) also I go to pay they want to charge me even more euros for the IMU as if the 2 euro cover charge and a 12 euro sandwich and a 0.20 cl beer 4 euros was not enough profit 😒

The owner of Ugo's Pub (or Pub 54) says that in 10 years, no customer has ever asked for a receipt. The gentlemen at Ugo's Pub, at the end of a dinner for six, directly told us the split of the total amount when paying: €21.80. We then asked for a receipt detailing the costs for each dish and drink ordered, but the response was literally: "I CAN'T DO THAT!" We asked: "But why isn't a business able to issue a receipt?" And that's when the unexpected response came: "It's the first time in ten years that anyone has asked me for a receipt; they've never asked me before," to which we immediately replied: "For us, it's the first time a business has told us they can't issue a receipt!" The waiter of the evening intervenes in the discussion, urging us to pay because "they were having trouble," or saying, "What do you do with the receipt? You have the receipt: it's the order," a handwritten piece of paper, demonstrating both negligence and naivety. At that moment, an employee, attempting to issue the order and typing in the same orders as the aforementioned order at the cash register, reveals that the prices on the table menu are different—higher, obviously—than those listed at the register, as well as those online. Confronted with this sloppiness, unprofessionalism, and bungling, we pay and, finally, telling the owner that he CANNOT NOT ISSUE a receipt, we hear, "You're right, I'll find out..." Don't go there, because the food is also poor, meager, and, at times, industrial: see flavored chicken sticks or pasta aglio e olio passed off as pasta with anchovy pesto, at the modest price of €16. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Obviously, the owner's response you see below is false! He blatantly said, "I can't give you a receipt... No one's ever asked me for one... What are you supposed to do with the receipt?" I simply asked for something legally required (and I think something didn't work there). Besides, one of us paid in cash, and you didn't give us a receipt, dear owner! Furthermore, it was your waiter who got upset and raised his voice in a clumsy and immature attempt to resolve a situation you put yourself in. We simply asked for the details of OUR order. It's best to draw a veil of silence over your spaghetti, as it is over everything else. Oh, and incompetent, charlatans like you who say they can't give you a receipt are better off shutting down.

09/08/2026: Pleasant atmosphere, but unjustified bill The place is really nice, and the wait staff was courteous and professional. Unfortunately, the downside is the food: decidedly small portions at truly exorbitant prices. Paying a lot for quality is fine, but when the dishes don't even wow your palate, you feel cheated. It's definitely not a place for everyone, and in my opinion, it's definitely not worth the expense. I won't be returning.

08/08/2026: Innovative seafood menu, everything excellent, never pretentious. From appetizer to dessert, everyone was satisfied. The best dinner in the area in recent years. Perfect service, elegant yet casual atmosphere.

01/09/2025: We ate there, although dining next to the road wasn't pleasant. The fish was fresh and good. Prices were a bit high considering it's a delicatessen and there's virtually no table service; you set and clear your own food with a tray.

02/08/2026: Welcoming staff. Affordable prices for a seafood lunch, although the quality is somewhat poor due to the frozen fish.

06/03/2026: Avoid! A hotel with a very low-quality restaurant at a price that's definitely out of line. The rooms are poorly maintained, not very clean, and the toilet seat, for example, was of poor quality and the wrong size, and was only fixed in one spot. The dinner, of which only the pappardelle with wild boar was good, the rest (mixed grill and salad) were decidedly below average (and there wasn't even any mustard available...), cost almost €100 for two people. The dinner consisted of two plates of pappardelle, two mixed grills, and two salads. Drinks: one water, half a liter of fairly poor-quality white wine, one 33cl beer and one 66cl beer (Moretti or Peroni), plus two coffees, one Sambuca, and one Montenegro. Please note that this is not high season. P.S.: The second star is only due to the pappardelle and the efforts of the kind waitress.

03/05/2026: Nothing special! The quality/price ratio and service are embarrassing, which is a shame because the location on the harbor is very beautiful. At those prices, you can find much better.

02/05/2026: The sea bream was good, but the service was totally lacking! We started ordering, and the waitress disappeared halfway through! To continue, we had to wait for someone to count us. The same goes for the dishes that arrived after ages, and no waiter counted you, you practically had to wave your arms! Shame!

03/08/2026: In a place partially forgotten by time, where people greet each other as they pass each other on the street and far from the heat of the city, we stumbled upon this excellent restaurant almost by chance. The deliciousness of the dishes is second only to the kindness and hospitality of the owners. We ate first courses with homemade sauces; second courses accompanied by fresh, local porcini mushrooms; excellent desserts; and a very good house wine, all for a more than reasonable price! A wonderful dinner that was a fantastic discovery!

05/07/2026: A wonderful place; we visited several times during our week-long stay and were always treated very warmly. Everything we ate and drank was of excellent quality, made with fresh, local produce. We were most impressed by the panini, which the lady made on the spot using ingredients of our choice, thick slices of local cheeses, and fresh vegetables—delicious! 😋 We returned many times for the delicious ice cream. The café affogato is also worth trying, with a full cup of ice cream in your chosen flavor. A true slow-living Italian experience! Greetings to George the cat, who accompanied us to the table on his favorite chair every time. ♡ Best regards, we recommend it, and we will definitely return if we're ever in the area!

21/03/2026: We stayed at this hotel for two weeks in July 2023, and were so satisfied that we wanted to repeat the experience this year, again for two weeks, despite the sharp increase in prices, which were already high. It's a shame that many things have changed this year. Starting with the management, which has proven to be not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel in Punta Ala, CERTAINLY NOT FOR THE CUSTOMERS, GIVEN WHAT THEY PAY. Breakfast was limited and had discount products. To get a vegan croissant (which you can now even find at service stations), we had to call our tour operator. Only three cakes were always the same. Fruit was only melon and pineapple, and some mornings only pineapple. The staff would argue with each other for half an hour over making a cappuccino. There was often no hot water for tea. The table didn't even have a piece of paper on it. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner areas were ONLY OUTSIDE THE POOL, in the sun and the heat of 40°C. Every evening, smoking barbecues smoldered in the air, and depending on the wind, it would blow into your room, the pool, or while you were sitting down to eat. There is a complete lack of air conditioning in the common areas, as the rooms that were elegantly decorated for breakfast and dinner last year have this year become playrooms for the children. There is no relaxation area or TV, as the lounge has been emptied of sofas. No air-conditioned bar area for an evening drink, except by the pool with mosquitoes playing host. Deluxe Room: Sheets changed every other day, no extra pillows of different weights, no evening turndown service, no bathrobes, often mismatched towels, no maintenance on taps and limescale, faulty safety lock, good housekeeping, but remember, we're talking about a Deluxe Room in a 4-star hotel! Beach towels can be picked up at reception in exchange for stamps. In a 4-star hotel, given the price I pay, you have to leave the towels in your room or on the beach. Michel at reception and the maitre d', Mr. Antonio, are always kind and friendly, but without losing the PROFESSIONALISM that is often lacking in everything else. The beach and shuttle service are excellent. Elena and Giovanni are always friendly. Things must be said for better or for worse, because the customer DOESN'T COME FOR FREE and especially when he was there only the year before he expects to find what he left behind, and above all what he sees in the hotel's videos and brochures.
