01/01/2026: Nice place with very good food, and great service from Claudia and the Italian lady (owner?). We were a group of four and were all happy we had dinner there and would like to go back. Grazie mille!

28/12/2025: Amazing spot! Dropped in late and with many other places closed for second day of Christmas. Place was buzzing with people, lots of families, and still we got quickly seated, and serviced. Menu is sufficient to have options, and the pizza was the beyond melting in mouth. Also sizes are impressive! Prices - the best in town! Hopefully will have a chance to return!

21/04/2026: 40 years still the same, for nostalgic and new customers.

28/02/2026: I ordered two takeout pizzas, both delicious. We were also given some free donzelle, a much-appreciated gesture. The only downside was the service; we had to wait half an hour. I'll be back to try the pizza there soon.

03/05/2026: We booked a table based on the excellent experience we had five years ago. We were disappointed. The spaghetti with clams was tasteless: the cherry tomatoes wandered around the plate, completely uninfluenced by the rest of the sauce, if you will. The octopus (also tasteless) was paired with baked potatoes soaked in oil. The local fish was decent, but it seemed hastily cooked, and served with a side of vegetables that weren't prepared with the dish. We hope the restaurant returns to its former level.

08/04/2026: Fantastic!!! I said I'd come back, and I did! Another great experience, the fish is simply amazing, and the usual service makes you feel at home! Well done, well done, well done!

04/04/2026: Finding a decent pizza on Amiata is a difficult task: ready-made pizza bases, toasted pizza, poor quality ingredients, raw egg placed on what should be a capricciosa (a hard-boiled egg is used), cooked ham, let alone anything else, but please, you are not even capable of making a pizza in these areas.

30/01/2026: Feeling like a warm welcome and discreet hospitality has become a key factor in allowing me to sit down at a restaurant and then have things to say about the hospitality of a place, its people, and, only then, the quality of the food I've tasted. "170 grammi," a pizzeria and restaurant in Pian di Ballo/Castel del Piano, was exactly what you'd expect at the end of a day of traveling, to relax and enjoy a good pizza (with a low crust and crispy crust, just the way my wife likes it!) made with decent-to-good-quality ingredients: eating well, having no digestive regrets, and taking home the fond memory of a place that hosted you with loyalty and warmth. This happened to my wife and I at the "170 grammi" pizzeria in Pian di Ballo/Castel del Piano. Thanks to the owners and, in particular, to the kind lady who welcomed us, perfectly representing the hospitality of these places.

07/01/2026: A magical place where mushrooms become onions. Good pizza, but the girl was rude and presumptuous. Once I called her to point out the mistake, she replied, "There are plenty of other pizzerias in Grosseto!" And thankfully, I'll finish. I'm sorry to write this review for the owners, who bear no responsibility, even if it all depends on their skill.

31/05/2026: A disaster, we left after two hours for a first course, the waiters forget and wander around randomly, I don't recommend it.

11/12/2025: Business trip, incredibly friendly welcome, not rooms but actual apartments, everything clean, the management even provided me with utensils to heat up dinner, the smell of cleanliness everywhere, abundant breakfast, close to Grosseto so the location is also excellent, silence reigns.

29/09/2025: A restaurant inside a campsite. I booked using the TheFork app, but even though it was still summer, they gave me a table inside. The food was good but nothing special, especially considering the amount ordered (an appetizer for two, a first course, a fried dish, water, and house wine) and the 20% discount. Honestly, I wouldn't go back.

22/07/2026: Excellent experience, truly excellent food and service, and the friendly staff (and owner) make you feel at ease in a very pleasant and family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

16/07/2026: We've been coming to this lovely restaurant since it opened in 2016. The quality of the food has always been excellent, and the value for money has remained good as well. Waiting times can indeed be longer, but that doesn't bother us as tourists. Good things take time!

25/07/2026: Every year on vacation I pop into a restaurant and always find it good. Unfortunately, not this year. Table service needs a major overhaul. Truly incompetent. The quality of the fish was poor.

28/06/2026: Beyond the overall decent quality of the food, what makes this restaurant impossible to recommend is the owner's attitude. When it came to the bill (€58 for four of us, including a two-year-old who only ate a few bites of my plate because she was so tired), we were told, literally, "Next time, don't make a reservation" due to the low cost... An unacceptable statement (note that we had been customers in the past, averaging €35-40 per person). Can't you choose what to order anymore? To make matters worse, one of the dishes we ordered was forgotten and arrived about 15 minutes after the others. Mistakes can happen, but rudeness and disrespect towards customers do not. P.S. We've witnessed far worse scenes in the past involving other customers who had "allowed" themselves to change tables to get out of the direct blast of air conditioning without the owner's permission, and who were severely insulted for it.

09/07/2026: They could have been more polite. Saying "please" when you say "thank you" is a bad thing. They didn't say hello or goodbye. They left our words hanging in the silence. We ordered one pizza, and they brought us another. We often heard swearing at others, which is unpleasant to hear on vacation. After smoking cigarettes, the girl didn't wash her hands and immediately started making drinks. The service was worse than anywhere else in Italy.
