17/05/2026: The hotel is in a convenient location, but the room is very modest (clean but cramped and poorly furnished) and the prices are way overpriced for the property. Regarding the restaurant, the food quality is good, but the prices are absolutely unacceptable: two dishes for €12 each included one potato stuffed with pecorino cheese and two small artichokes. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

01/05/2026: On a motorcycle tour with two friends on Sunday, April 19th, we traveled to Sovana, seeking some tranquility away from the daily chaos of Rome. In this wonderful setting, we ate at Taverna Etrusca, a lovely restaurant in the center of the village that offers refined dishes showcasing local, seasonal produce. We chose to eat at the tables facing the entrance, right under the clock tower, in a totally relaxing atmosphere. Kudos to Chef Simone, whose exquisite cuisine contributed to our delightful moments of "good taste."

09/11/2025: We made a very late reservation on a Saturday evening; there were nine of us, then three more joined us, and although the restaurant was more than full, the owner somehow managed to find extra chairs. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was fabulous. The price was more than reasonable. Thank you so much, you saved our evening!

09/03/2026: I consider this place a must-visit for anyone near Orbetello, in Maremma. The food is truly delicious in a very pleasant, bright setting, surrounded by nature, and with knowledgeable, friendly service. Highly recommended, don't miss it.

03/05/2026: We booked a table based on the excellent experience we had five years ago. We were disappointed. The spaghetti with clams was tasteless: the cherry tomatoes wandered around the plate, completely uninfluenced by the rest of the sauce, if you will. The octopus (also tasteless) was paired with baked potatoes soaked in oil. The local fish was decent, but it seemed hastily cooked, and served with a side of vegetables that weren't prepared with the dish. We hope the restaurant returns to its former level.

28/12/2025: I went for lunch. The food was excellent. I had an appetizer and excellent pici cacio e pepe. To finish, I had two excellent desserts. Excellent service. The staff was always available. The owner was always available for any need.

03/12/2025: Two plates of ravioli, a measly plate of cold cuts, half a litre of wine and two coffees, 72 euros - I won't be going back.

15/06/2026: We arrived at 8:00 PM. The mussel appetizer arrived an hour later (9:00 PM). I ordered spaghetti allo scoglio, which I practically ate alone, as my wife's fried fish arrived only after I'd finished. I also ordered water, wine, and side dishes. For these few dishes, we finished at 9:40 PM. Put yourself in my shoes. I wouldn't have wanted to be there. For this kind of service at such low prices, there are certainly more rewarding places to spend a pleasant evening.

04/04/2026: Finding a decent pizza on Amiata is a difficult task: ready-made pizza bases, toasted pizza, poor quality ingredients, raw egg placed on what should be a capricciosa (a hard-boiled egg is used), cooked ham, let alone anything else, but please, you are not even capable of making a pizza in these areas.

30/01/2026: Feeling like a warm welcome and discreet hospitality has become a key factor in allowing me to sit down at a restaurant and then have things to say about the hospitality of a place, its people, and, only then, the quality of the food I've tasted. "170 grammi," a pizzeria and restaurant in Pian di Ballo/Castel del Piano, was exactly what you'd expect at the end of a day of traveling, to relax and enjoy a good pizza (with a low crust and crispy crust, just the way my wife likes it!) made with decent-to-good-quality ingredients: eating well, having no digestive regrets, and taking home the fond memory of a place that hosted you with loyalty and warmth. This happened to my wife and I at the "170 grammi" pizzeria in Pian di Ballo/Castel del Piano. Thanks to the owners and, in particular, to the kind lady who welcomed us, perfectly representing the hospitality of these places.

22/05/2026: The appetizer (cold cuts and cheese with various dips), pizza, and local wine were all good. Finally, coffee. All at a more than reasonable price (there were 25 of us for dinner).

14/02/2026: ...there are no negative words to describe what happened. Waiting over an hour for a pizza that was wrong twice, I repeat twice, not to mention the fact that they brought Frisbees that even knives couldn't cut. The quality of service was TERRIBLE. Eye-catching and trendy, the food was "there are no negative words to describe..." Terrible. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

21/04/2026: 40 years still the same, for nostalgic and new customers.

28/02/2026: I ordered two takeout pizzas, both delicious. We were also given some free donzelle, a much-appreciated gesture. The only downside was the service; we had to wait half an hour. I'll be back to try the pizza there soon.

01/01/2026: Nice place with very good food, and great service from Claudia and the Italian lady (owner?). We were a group of four and were all happy we had dinner there and would like to go back. Grazie mille!

28/12/2025: Amazing spot! Dropped in late and with many other places closed for second day of Christmas. Place was buzzing with people, lots of families, and still we got quickly seated, and serviced. Menu is sufficient to have options, and the pizza was the beyond melting in mouth. Also sizes are impressive! Prices - the best in town! Hopefully will have a chance to return!

15/06/2026: A charming restaurant with a good selection of typical Maremma dishes. Excellent wild boar ragout with various pasta dishes. Friendly service, Italian only.

02/06/2026: In the center of Scarlino, near the castle, on Piazza Garibaldi, a splendid monument to Garibaldi's fallen soldiers, a restaurant in an old building with brick vaults, stone walls, and wooden beams. The food is excellent, and the owner, along with her staff, consistently present a menu of excellent quality. From the village of Scarlino, the view extends to the sea, the forested mountains, and the rolling countryside of olive trees. ❤️

29/09/2025: A restaurant inside a campsite. I booked using the TheFork app, but even though it was still summer, they gave me a table inside. The food was good but nothing special, especially considering the amount ordered (an appetizer for two, a first course, a fried dish, water, and house wine) and the 20% discount. Honestly, I wouldn't go back.
