17/06/2026: I'll start by saying I didn't want to write this review, but when we saw the indifference... We told the waitress and waiter that the fried calamari smelled nauseating... The waiter couldn't believe it, but when he smelled it, he was astonished. Like the sesame-crusted tuna steak, it was burnt and stringy. We pointed it out, but there was no clarification on this dish either, as if it were normal, not at all.
I'll answer your question: it's not at all jealousy, in fact, the mezzé paccheri were really good. And your indifference and lack of explanation really made us indignant. Anyway, your restaurant was recommended to us; it can happen on a bad day. No.
16/06/2026: I had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant and want to express my appreciation for the excellent service I received. The wait staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The fried food, in particular, was exquisite: crispy, dry, and of excellent quality. The entire service was impeccable, and both the waiters and management welcomed us with a warmth that made us feel at ease. We plan to return in the future.

22/05/2026: The appetizer (cold cuts and cheese with various dips), pizza, and local wine were all good. Finally, coffee. All at a more than reasonable price (there were 25 of us for dinner).
14/02/2026: ...there are no negative words to describe what happened. Waiting over an hour for a pizza that was wrong twice, I repeat twice, not to mention the fact that they brought Frisbees that even knives couldn't cut. The quality of service was TERRIBLE.
Eye-catching and trendy, the food was "there are no negative words to describe..." Terrible.
HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

Spaghetti alla Bucaniera was good and plentiful; a piece of sea bass was missing to make the perfect sauce
Bottled Prosecco DOCG was good and reasonably priced

17/05/2026: The hotel is in a convenient location, but the room is very modest (clean but cramped and poorly furnished) and the prices are way overpriced for the property. Regarding the restaurant, the food quality is good, but the prices are absolutely unacceptable: two dishes for €12 each included one potato stuffed with pecorino cheese and two small artichokes. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.
01/05/2026: On a motorcycle tour with two friends on Sunday, April 19th, we traveled to Sovana, seeking some tranquility away from the daily chaos of Rome. In this wonderful setting, we ate at Taverna Etrusca, a lovely restaurant in the center of the village that offers refined dishes showcasing local, seasonal produce. We chose to eat at the tables facing the entrance, right under the clock tower, in a totally relaxing atmosphere. Kudos to Chef Simone, whose exquisite cuisine contributed to our delightful moments of "good taste."

Excellent service. The staff was always available.
The owner was always available for any need.

08/06/2026: Terrible in every way. After ordering at 6:45 PM, at 7:30 PM still nothing. I should point out that a group of drivers who arrived at 7:00 PM had been served in the meantime. At 8:10 PM, I threatened to leave, demanding my money back. Finally, at 8:25 PM, my order arrived: a charred and cold grilled fish, obviously old, smelly, stale bread, and grilled vegetables still cold from the refrigerator. The icing on the cake was a half-liter of discount wine in a carton for €5.00, all for a bill of €25.50.
There are no words to describe these people. Avoid them, they're runaways, improvised restaurant owners. Never again.

10/05/2026: It was our first time, but our friends have been regulars for a while, and now we understand why.
A very simple restaurant with a splendid location directly on the Ansedonia sea. Everything was truly excellent: tasty, well-prepared fish dishes in generous portions. The octopus salad and fried fish were very good.
A simple and authentic place to have lunch overlooking the sea.
07/04/2026: Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, wonderful mussel soup. Unfortunately, the worst seafood spaghetti I've ever had, completely tasteless. The trifle was not good.

02/09/2025: The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the appetizers were also outstanding – fried vegetables, mozzarella, olives, and so on! Truly delicious, highly recommended. The tables and seating aren't luxurious, but they're adequate. After placing your order at the counter, you're called as soon as your food is ready – everything has always worked perfectly. Highly recommended!

02/06/2026: In the center of Scarlino, near the castle, on Piazza Garibaldi, a splendid monument to Garibaldi's fallen soldiers, a restaurant in an old building with brick vaults, stone walls, and wooden beams. The food is excellent, and the owner, along with her staff, consistently present a menu of excellent quality. From the village of Scarlino, the view extends to the sea, the forested mountains, and the rolling countryside of olive trees. ❤️
