02/06/2026: On the recommendation of the hotel where we stayed, we decided to have dinner at Frantoio. I was delighted by the staff's kindness until we ordered the famous tortelli with butter and sage ragù, with so much cinnamon that it covered all the remaining flavor. I understand it may be a local dish, but it's good manners to include cinnamon, because as a Roman, if I bring a carbonara or a gricia to the table, I don't bring it with porcini mushrooms. My girlfriend had a stomach ache and is now locked in the bathroom with fennel tea, something not even Kubrick would make like this. That said, the waitress assured me she hadn't added it to the bill and had removed it, but the fact remains that it is there, with a discount of what? €7??? Making me pay €12 anyway. As a restaurant lover, I'm used to leaving waiters tips of €10-15, and honestly, I feel more than a little bit taken for a ride. Never again, because I'm not saying the customer is always right, for goodness sake, but I'm not even going to make fun of them like this. There's always room for improvement, after all. 19/10/2025: Besides making many delicious focaccias, I'm delighted to be their customer because of their polite service, which you'll find over the phone and at the counter. The incredibly kind people make you want to order again and again. All their pizzas are delicious!

25/04/2026: had the wild boar, didn't taste nice, 3 hours later had symptoms of food poisoning. Ive been vomiting with Diarrhea all night. service was good and nice vibe my friends had the pizzas and said they were good and they did not get food poisoning.

07/04/2026: I can't say more. We were passing through and stopped for lunch. The sauce on the pici with white ragù and chestnuts tasted like nothing. The bruschetta appetizer was 4 slices of toasted bread without garlic or salt. 2 with just oil (a lot) and 2 with tomato pieces drowned in oil but without salt and without being rubbed with garlic, which is the basis of bruschetta. Unfortunately, the service wasn't precise: we ordered a glass of wine and they accepted it even though the menu didn't list the glasses or the price. They served us a glass of Brunello without telling us the price. In the bill, we found a whopping €15 for the glass. We protested because, in addition to not being listed, they didn't tell us the price, and unfortunately, the owner was rude and arrogant. He wanted to give us €10 back of the €15, but obviously we didn't accept it. A truly terrible gesture towards a customer. After a few minutes he called us to apologize but we will never go back there again

06/03/2026: Help me say fabulous. A show, the welcome comes first. Friendly and nice staff. As they say in person. Simple but top-notch atmosphere. Small but everything in its place, dishes with excellent raw materials.

07/05/2026: Stopped here during a motorcycle tour. Excellent breakfast. The modern, spacious bar also has an outdoor seating area. It's a shame they don't offer table service and this isn't mentioned.

09/04/2026: I ordered a schiacciata with tuna and tomato, they said okay, and I got a small draft beer. The schiacciata was hard, so it wasn't fresh, and the tuna was the same as in the tuna sauce, so basically, it wasn't much. The price was excessive: 7 euros. I brought the tray to the table outside myself... Last time!

07/09/2025: While vacationing at the Baia Verde campsite, we discovered this restaurant. What can I say? The fried fish with battered vegetables melts in your mouth. Among the best we've ever had. The seafood mezze paccheri are exceptional. Fresh, quality ingredients. The service was in line with the dishes; the staff was helpful and very friendly. It's sad to see reviews from a few years ago referring to another management lower the rating. The prices are perfectly in line with the quality offered. Highly recommended!

06/09/2025: Delicious food and friendly service, although the dessert (cheesecake) was a bit small. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitoes on the terrace, so don't forget your mosquito spray.

31/05/2026: ⭐️⭐️ An excellent location, but unfortunately, it's not enough to justify the price. Strengths: The property enjoys a truly excellent location in Porto Santo Stefano and offers convenient parking (a real plus in this area). Special mention goes to the staff, who were courteous, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. Cons (Room 27): The problems began as soon as we opened the door to Room 27. I fully understand that it was the cheapest room in the property, but there are limits to everything, especially when you're paying €150.00 a night. The room is so small that it's uncomfortable: once you open your suitcases, moving around becomes virtually impossible. Furthermore, upon our arrival, we found that both the air conditioning and the television weren't working. The real sticking point, however, was the bathroom, which was completely dysfunctional: the sink measures just 20 centimeters, making it literally impossible to use without flooding the entire place or having to perform acrobatics. Conclusions: Flexibility on "basic" rooms in seaside locations is fine, but charging €150 a night for such limited space and non-functioning amenities is frankly madness. A property with this potential should guarantee minimum standards of livability in every single room.

15/05/2026: Minimal reception but with friendly, efficient, and professional staff. Rooms are spacious enough with all the essential amenities, though the mattresses are perhaps a little old. Spectacular views. Excellent location, close to town. High-quality and varied breakfast. Excellent dinner. Everyone was very courteous and helpful.

12/04/2026: A small pizzeria located for many years in the Cassarello neighborhood of Follonica. Excellent pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, good other dishes as well, fast and attentive service.

17/05/2026: I've been going out less and less lately, but yesterday I needed an evening with dear friends. I've always eaten well at Quadrifoglio, but under the new management, it's gotten better. The pizza has a pleasantly lighter crust and is excellent. The appetizers are also well-stocked with samples of specialty cured meats and cheeses. They have a fabulous aromatic red beer. The atmosphere is friendly, the staff is kind and helpful, and the seating inside is spacious: a pizzeria where you're not packed in like sardines. Thanks, Quadrifoglio!

23/03/2026: A well-stocked wine shop in the center of Grosseto. The food is good, and the prices are average or slightly higher. Wait times can be a bit long. The staff is attentive and very helpful.

12/04/2026: We stayed for the weekend, Saturday 11 April and Sunday 12 April 2026, we had a very good stay, excellent service, excellent location, room with attention to the smallest details overlooking the sea, very suggestive, I would say perfect, very suggestive panoramic terrace overlooking the enchanting sea, Hotel with attention to the smallest details, excellent breakfast with table service by the extremely kind and helpful lady, at the reception Mrs Maria Elena and Mr. Director extremely kind and helpful, well what can I say, I would say absolutely everything perfect, absolutely recommended YES YES 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏😃😃😃😃
