16/06/2025: we came here because it's next to the rented apartment. Even if it's slightly more expensive than the average Florentine one decides to go in. And it's done very well because the level of the ingredients is very high. Everything is good starting from the bread. Excellent crostini and extraordinary liver paté! Then we move on to the tagliata: mine, even if too short, compared to those of my colleagues, is forgiven for the quality. But the most INCREDIBLE thing are the french fries: I haven't eaten something like that for a long time! And then they give you a knife that is straight and not serrated for the meat. Highly recommended!

09/06/2025: Nice and welcoming atmosphere. Attentive and fast service. Very good and abundant food except for the desserts: tiramisu too dry and not soft on the surface, torn Portuguese milk, immersed in too much liquid and rubbery external crust. For the rest, everything worthy of note, including the dish of the day (blueberry tagliolini on taleggio cream, crispy bacon and mushrooms). Highly recommended!

09/06/2025: Wonderful restaurant, fast staff and service, essential and well-curated menu, tasty and well-loaded dishes, highly recommended the platter for 4 people containing cold cuts, cheeses and fried foods. Excellent pasta cooking and sauces, purple gnocchi highly recommended. Excellent grilled second courses. Minus point for desserts, Portuguese milk cooked incorrectly and hard and tasteless tiramisu. However, good price also for the Florentine steak, recommended.

12/06/2025: Very good pizza....but honestly €130 for 4 pizzas, 1 medium beer, 2 bottles of water, 2 sorbets and 2 coffees....it seems excessive to me....I understood that SPELA is not just the name it is also what happens to your wallet....

18/06/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch, and everything was very easy because there was a waiter who spoke Spanish, even though we're Spanish. We're grateful to the waiter who served us, as he was very friendly. As for the food, we ordered three pizzas and a carbonara, and everything was delicious. P.S. We spilled some coffee, we're so sorry.

24/05/2025: Unique experience in this restaurant where nothing is left to chance... high quality food, environment cared for in every detail, unique welcome and service, which go far beyond professionalism, which is also impeccable... the human environment that you find is in fact made of kindness, welcome, genuineness and authenticity. The customer experience is put first with passion and dedication (which is not a given). Absolutely recommended!!!

I took the liberty of asking, in a somewhat crowded moment, for a glass of water for my daughter (but I didn't even finish the sentence) and I was rudely told that it wasn't the right time to ask for it! When I went to pay for the ice creams we had bought I pointed out that maybe it wasn't a very polite way to respond to a customer, but according to the lady instead I was wrong because I shouldn't have even asked for it at a "similar" moment, in fact, the lady chased us out of the bar yelling at us that we had left a mess (on the table we only left a small cup of ice cream), that the girls had made a mess (2 1 and a half year old girls ladies and gentlemen) and that we had to go back home. The end. I've said it all.

08/06/2025: Esperienza culinaria altalenante. L’antipasto buono nel complesso, anche se il polpo e i totani sembravano semplicemente lessati, senza particolari condimenti che ne esaltassero il sapore. Le tagliatelle all’ astice erano troppo cariche di pomodoro, tanto da coprire il sapore del pesce, che risultava quasi assente. Il risotto di mare era insipido e privo di gusto, sembrava che il riso fosse stato cotto separatamente dal condimento. La frittura di mare era croccante, asciutta e ben cucinata. La torta di compleanno ha chiuso la cena con un’altra nota dolente: la crema era troppo molle, quasi papposa e la pasta frolla era dura e poco piacevole. Il servizio è stato cortese e disponibile, anche se le cameriere apparivano un po’ impacciate e inesperte. Un’esperienza che lascia spazio a miglioramenti soprattutto in cucina.
