22/10/2025: Terrible service Waited for an hour, nothing happened. After a while, I went out to get some air and accidentally saw how it was all done. Lost my appetite. Standed up and left. I don't recommend it.

22/09/2025: Fantastic, unique experience. Dario is an engaging showman, and a talented chef and butcher. Highly recommended. You damn well better love copious amounts of raw and barely cooked yet world class beef! Considering all the Chianti straw bottle wine you can drink and delicious first and second courses, €50 per person could be the best restaurant deal in Italy.

28/10/2025: I noticed this trattoria while passing by and decided to stop for lunch. The atmosphere is lovely, with an indoor dining area and a spacious veranda, friendly service, and above all, excellent food at a very competitive price. We ordered two appetizers, two portions of handmade tortelli, and two desserts. Water, wine, and coffee cost €58. Excellent quality, generous portions, and a great price! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: I've tried this restaurant over and over again over the years. The quality is excellent, but they charge you for it. On average, a main course costs around €30, and side dishes between €9 and €12. I justify the price by the quality of the food and the freshness of the ingredients, and a main course and side dish will fill you up. The waiters are very kind and helpful, and if you go during off-peak hours, the service is also extremely fast (I didn't even eat the bread because the wait between ordering and the dish arriving was less than ten minutes). I recommend it to everyone, even for romantic dinners, as the ambiance is perfect. The wine selection is also good.

11/10/2025: New management, a young and highly skilled pizza chef, excellent pizzas, perfectly crispy, top-notch ingredients, a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Takeout is available, just minutes from Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can enjoy delicious pizza as the sun sets with a beautiful view. Highly recommended. We've been back several times and tried the various pizzas...all fabulous...the best thing is the tomato sauce, truly worthy of applause. Bravo, Dario, you continue to amaze us with the unique flavors you offer every time we come. It's become a regular stop! We also tried the new Deliziosa pizza...the burrata and pesto are amazing!! And to finish, the homemade tiramisu is a must!!...and for those who want, they also offer personalized t-shirts.

09/10/2025: Peak fine dining experience. The location alone is one of a kind. Located in the heart of Florence inside Hotel Brunelleschi, in a tower, they have very limited seating. The reservation process alone was an adventure in itself. Our visit was to celebrate 3 Libra birthdays. Our party of 4 opted for the 9 courses. One of us decided to do the wine pairing. When I tell you, there was so much food. We would’ve probably been better off doing the 7 courses, but we wanted to eat everything. We were all falling asleep by the end of the night. One was nonstop yawning. To the unfamiliar, they focus more on seafood. Every dish is out of this world. Down to the presentation. I savored every bite. The standout for me was the oyster and how it came in two parts. It was so innovative. I loved the sauces that accented the protein and the jus. Don’t even get me started on the service. What an attentive team. I always refer to it as poetry in motion the way the team moves effortlessly that you don’t even realize when they refill your glass of water. No crumb was left behind on that table. Someone scraped up anything that didn’t belong on the table after every course. Lastly, I just want to mention what a great job they did with the birthday cake that was an add-on to our meal. It was so damn good. Grazie Chef Rocco and team for an amazing meal.

06/10/2025: I chose the seven-course wine pairing menu, and it was truly exceptional. Each dish was beautifully prepared, and the wines matched every course with remarkable precision. The sea urchin and salted roe pasta was particularly memorable — rich, balanced, and full of depth. It was also my first time trying pigeon, and it was tender and flavorful, without any trace of gaminess. The entire experience lasted about four hours, yet it felt perfectly paced and immersive. After visiting the Uffizi Gallery, enjoying this dinner felt like the most elegant way to unwind. I not only enjoyed every moment but also learned so much about wine pairing throughout the evening.

20/09/2025: The calzone was burnt but raw, both on top and bottom: the dough was stringy as if it were still baked, but the sides of the surface were charred.

17/09/2025: The place is nice. The pizza is delicious, but even those who ate meat were satisfied. The service is friendly and fast. The price is in line.

20/08/2025: I had dinner with a large family. The place was magnificent. We arrived 5 minutes before sunset and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service from the girls was excellent! The food was very good. I can't wait to go back! The restaurant is in the countryside, a very peaceful place to relax in nature.

16/10/2025: Agriturismo Ulivella is a restaurant offering traditional Tuscan cuisine, with exquisite dishes prepared according to local traditions. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming, ideal for relaxed conversation. Prices are reasonable. I will definitely be back.

05/10/2025: Lovely place to be!! We stayed in a well maintained vintage style villa, comfortable and clean room. All staff are so friendly and especially the great host Federico who is very helpful during the whole stay. Food was delicious, from breakfast to dinner, well fed there. High quality olive oil, we cannot have enough. We tried different wines from their own winery including the Chianti Classico, absolutely recommend! Wine trekking from the villa to winery is also a nice activity when staying here. Parking available, easy to go from here to nearby area and also only 35 minutes drive to Florence.

17/10/2025: We like to thank the staff at La Madia for their incredible service, most specially Ryan who took care of us on October 15. We came back tonight , October 16 and brought our priest and Her Excellency Lieutenant of the Dames and Knights of the Holy Sepulcher. We were here in Firenze for 3 days from the US for the Jubilee Year Pilgrimage. We just chanced on LaMadia walking back to our Hotel the other night. The pasta and seafood were excellent and the service even better. We'd sure recommend your place to our friends who'll be visiting Firenze in the future! Thank you very much!!!

12/10/2025: The two of us went and had one appetizer, one pasta, one steak, and one dessert. The portions were just right, and the food was delicious and presented beautifully. And the view was amazing. You could see the dome and bell tower.

10/09/2025: We were nine people and one person didn’t get her Food when the others did 10 minutes ago and when she told the waiter he missunderstood that she didn’t want it but she tried to say that she didn’t get it. And a salad didn’t arrive on time and the other didn’t even arrive. Altough the Food was great.

22/08/2025: Friendly and helpful staff! We went two nights in a row. Good value! The first and second courses were plentiful and delicious. We'll be back at the first opportunity.
