16/05/2025: We stopped for lunch on the way back home and I must say that the outdoor place is very nice surrounded by nature, inside a bit dark. However the food is very good and genuine. The tagliatelle with rabbit sauce is top!

17/08/2025: A truly negative experience. We came to try the restaurant because we were misled by the positive reviews. In reality, we ate terrible food. The staff, distracted by friendly customers, showed no consideration for us. Our dishes were served after over an hour's wait. The place was full of flies.

16/08/2025: From the outside you wouldn't give it two cents, inside it presents itself very well, the cuisine is really excellent both first and second courses, kind and polite of the waitresses, I had a first course, a second course, a side dish 1 water 1 cola and 2 coffees, total 10 euros, fair price and really excellent lunch, place very popular with local workers and couriers, there is a large parking lot behind the restaurant, excellent for vans and flatbeds, highly recommended and I will definitely return

08/07/2025: Stedet ligger flot, men af en eller anden grund er udsigten dækket til med lyserød tyl. Vores tjenere var meget ung, derfor måske, ikke bevist om væremåde; ikke smilende eller opmærksom. Ingen olie, salt eller peber blev tilbudt. Selve maden var smagløst; hverken forfærdelig eller fantastisk, bare ligegyldig. Prisen er enda lidt dyrere end Osteria le Botti, som er fantastisk og ligger 100 meter væk.

27/06/2025: The entrance is very inconspicuous, but if you go down through the cellar, you'll find yourself on an outdoor terrace. The service is very friendly and attentive. We had appetizers, pizza, and fish, and can recommend everything. We'd be happy to come back, as we were particularly impressed by the fish dishes (-:

04/06/2025: Cute shop with a very friendly owner. Unfortunately, we didn't like the food. The bread was hard, the vegetable lasagna had no vegetables, and it tasted only of feta cheese.

15/06/2025: I had lunch with my partner and I have to say that the place is really beautiful and well-kept, surrounded by greenery just a stone's throw from the Casella A1 Valdichiana exit. Air-conditioned rooms, excellent and abundant food, welcoming and friendly STAFF.

21/06/2025: We were here for dinner a few days ago. For starters, my husband and I had gnudi with butter and sage, and for the main course, duck breast a la orange. Both were excellent. We wondered what we could have for dessert and decided on cheese that wasn't on the menu. We had Gorgonzola with orange zest and Pecorino. Both were very good. However, in our opinion, it was almost outrageous to charge €16 per person for two tiny portions. It was no more than three small bites. Considering that the main course cost €20 (which was perfectly fine), this is completely out of all proportion to the cheese. Therefore, unfortunately, two stars deducted. A real shame!

L’atmosfera è calda, autentica, ricca di storia e sapori veri. Ogni dettaglio, dall’accoglienza del personale alla cura nei piatti, racconta passione e tradizione. Il menù è un viaggio tra le eccellenze umbre, con materie prime di altissima qualità e una preparazione che esalta i sapori senza mai snaturarli. La pasta fatta in casa è semplicemente straordinaria, e la carne – tenera, saporita, cotta alla perfezione – è un’esperienza da non perdere. Da menzionare anche la selezione di vini locali, perfettamente abbinata ai piatti. Il servizio è attento ma mai invadente, con personale sorridente e competente che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Un ristorante dove si torna volentieri, non solo per mangiare bene, ma per vivere un momento speciale. Consigliatissimo, una tappa obbligatoria per chi ama la buona cucina e l’ospitalità sincera.

07/04/2025: We found ourselves by chance in Sestino and made the very pleasant discovery of this welcoming, well-kept place where you can find a quiet corner whether you go as a couple or for a lunch or dinner with friends but the pleasant discovery is above all due to the food with very high quality fresh fish, simplicity but at the same time cooked with skill, accompanied by excellent wine. I highly recommend it and it's really worth taking a few more hairpin bends to get to this little village where you can find everything 😊👍
