20/10/2025: Wonderful place. My wife and I stopped here on a day trip in Cortona and we were greeted warmly by the owner, Emma. The cappuccino and pastries were very good, but the pizza was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is small but inviting and fills up quickly. It was a highlight of our trip for sure. I hope we get the chance to return someday!

16/10/2025: I only brought four regular pastries. My daughter bought them. Maybe that's why they cost €14... rip-off.

20/02/2026: A unique restaurant for its location, menu, and hospitality. The location is nestled in the hills surrounding Visone (AL), in a verdant and picturesque setting. The menu, featuring pizza tours and themed evenings, is always a pleasant surprise, both in terms of appetizers and pizza options, thanks to Orietta's skill. The hospitality is truly unique: Silvio is a true host, gruff and ironic, but always available to accommodate guests' requests and to offer and share local traditions, specialties, and stories. A truly unique and highly rewarding experience, especially considering the excellent value for money.

07/01/2026: A charming trattoria in a hamlet in the municipality of Visone, in the province of Alessandria. Mrs. Orietta cooks and Mr. Silvio waits: authentic local cuisine, paired with Dolcetto d'Ovada or Barbera di Nizza. Definitely worth a try!

28/12/2025: Company dinner The food is truly delicious. Cuisine of the past. Highly recommended, and compliments to everyone, especially the chef. Of course, don't expect haute cuisine; you're at home, and you'll feel right at home.

08/11/2025: It tastes so good! Marco and everyone else are so warm and welcoming. Definitely take some home with you. Even in the cold German winter, the delicious pickled vegetables and jams still warm my heart, and I think back with great joy to the time I spent there, with the dogs at my feet, the lovely conversations, and the incredibly delicious food. 22/02/2026: Sloppy reception at the hotel and restaurant. The shack built in front of the historic building to increase the number of tables and the pile of chairs next to the small church add to the sense of squalor. Some details in the rooms (e.g., an empty refrigerator in plain sight, a rusty bathroom radiator, and lack of mosquito nets) unfortunately detract from their beauty.

25/12/2025: The location is lovely, but for a Christmas lunch, the rather high price (€70) doesn't match the quality of the dishes served, which were disappointing: bland, peppery, and sparse. Some details were not taken care of, such as the non-working centerpiece light, the detergents in plain sight, the bland Christmas decorations, and the disposable tablecloths! For such a prestigious location, expectations are much higher!

16/03/2026: I agree with other recent reviews that have highlighted the issue of interminable waits and lack of consideration. The coffee wait times are real, but this morning, after asking for it twice and seeing the obvious annoyance at the request, I left it there. Under those conditions, they're the ones who drink it. I paid for the pasta and left.

22/02/2026: The pizza is excellent, the service is fast, in short, top notch. One piece of advice: remember to handle the customer well. It's not about me, my service was top notch, but I've noticed that not all customers have the same experience.

03/08/2025: A place a little out of the way from Subbiano but worth the detour. The atmosphere is like a small village café but with tasty, local cuisine. We had a perfect time.

21/01/2026: Nothing to say about the old management. Actually, it's a shame they're no longer there. But let's talk about the new management. I asked for a chicken. A girl came to me from behind the kitchen and took the chicken with her hands. I placed it on a counter and she took it back with her hands and put it in a bag that was closed roughly. So much so that I got home and the chicken was in the bag, not even in the foil. But the most painful note is that they sold me a chicken from yesterday saying it was fresh from today. It's really a shame you got the wrong customer. One because I'm a cook by profession. Two because you lost a customer.

27/01/2026: AWFUL EXPERIENCE. THE FOOD WAS NOTHING SPECIAL, THE SERVICE WAS AWFUL, AND THE OWNER WAS MORE RUDE THAN I'VE NEVER SEEN. THE BILL, WHICH WAS SPLIT BETWEEN THREE, WAS ROUNDED UP INSTEAD OF DOWN. HE ASKED FOR AN INVOICE AND WAS RESPONSIBLE THAT IT WAS NOT LIMITED TO 100 EUROS. THE PIZZA CHEF NEXT DOOR WOULD DO IT FOR 15 EUROS! I WILL DEFINITELY NOT RETURN TO THIS OBSCENIC PLACE, AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. PS: AFTER THE INCIDENT, I TALKED TO SOME LOCALS, AND THEY, TOO, CONFIRMED MY THESIS. THE OWNER WAS POLITE ENOUGH TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO, IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. I SAID EVERYTHING.

28/02/2026: Welcoming place, great welcome. The pizza was terrible! Pizza like a wafer. There's no mozzarella, and you can barely see the tomato. The price isn't worth the food... Leave while you're still hungry! I don't recommend it...

04/01/2026: I'd like to respond to the owners regarding Siria Minuti's comment, since we were there together. Point number 1, you were rude from the moment we booked; the point about you no longer doing takeout after 8 pm was not mentioned at all; 2, even if it were for 10 pizzas, a 45-minute delay is absolutely unnecessary. Then explain: did you make half at one time and half at another? Because there were some lukewarm pizzas and some pizzas as cold as marble, not to mention that you made the pizzas however you liked, the 4 seasons became 2, the stuffed calzone was a calzone with ham, the salami with olives without olives. Finally, I won't even waste words on the drinks; I'm attaching your receipt directly. For next time, definitely not for us because we won't be setting foot in there again, be more polite and apologize if you don't even know how to do your job. Oh, and don't make excuses for the receipt because it's all written down and everything adds up to its extremely exaggerated calculation. Have a good evening and good work (we were taught good manners).
