22/07/2025: Two of us went to this restaurant last night. We ordered two appetizers, a first course, and a second course. My partner's dishes didn't live up to expectations. We saw octopus served on a bed of cooked vegetables, which I don't think goes well with it at all. The fried fish we ordered, however, was good and recommended, as was the mixed cooked seafood appetizer. Recommended if you're not too demanding. Friendly staff.

15/07/2025: We were incredibly happy with our stay at Villa Schiatti! It's a very cozy and beautiful hotel with spectacular services. The pool and terrace are ideal for relaxing, but the best part is the restaurant terrace: it has stunning views, perfect for dinner or a sunset drink. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast was exquisite, with a wide variety and quality products. We also tried the food, wine, and cocktails, and everything was delicious. But without a doubt what we liked most was the staff's treatment: warm, attentive, and super friendly at all times. They make you feel at home. An absolutely recommended place to enjoy Tuscany. We will return!

11/07/2025: I stayed at Villa Schiatti for one night with my boyfriend. I definitely recommend it. Clean and beautiful, just like the photos. Breakfast was varied, both sweet and savory. The pool was also very nice; they rent towels for €3. The staff was also very friendly. I highly recommend it!

05/08/2025: They've changed management several times over time, I'd never been there, BUT I HAD A GREAT TIME! I celebrated my birthday there, but now that I've tried it, I'll be back for a nice fish meal.

27/07/2025: Front the very start speaking to the rude waiter to say we had a table booked he tried to usher us inside which we had said we would prefer to dine outside this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in Italy. The food then made what was a poor experience significantly worse as it was completely bland and lacking in any quality. Seriously do not waste your time or money eating in the terrible restaurant it was absolutely awful.

03/08/2025: Unfriendly and surly waiters, poor and slow service. I recommend that if I order a Coke, at least bring some ice, especially if it's 30 degrees outside.

02/08/2025: On August 1, 2025, we went to this restaurant because we hadn't seen the trays which were well served, so we were greeted by a waitress who told us in English how many people were there, we said 3 and told us to wait 3 minutes? while there were 4 free tables on the terrace and inside completely empty and a family of 5 people arrived and spoke Italian, the waitress immediately told them to follow her to seat them (and yes I understand Italian and not English, for this language there is my daughter), so I told my wife and daughter to go see another restaurant. Time of the mishap around 7:20 p.m. Really disappointed 😞 why this way of welcoming tourists, because I am French, but I am of Sicilian origin.

19/07/2025: Massimo Macelleria Francini con Cucina is a carnivore’s paradise. Massimo exudes a warmth that immediately makes you feel welcome and at home. We walked in without a reservation on a Friday night, and he greeted us with genuine hospitality. We asked him to surprise us with the menu, and what followed was an epicurean delight. The steak was, without question, the best I’ve had in this region — perfectly grilled, richly flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. The tartare was equally outstanding. Massimo also paired a bottle of Chianti that complemented the steak beautifully. I jokingly told him that anyone who can grill like that has a spot in heaven. This restaurant is a true carnivore’s delight. Every detail shows the love and mastery behind the food. I highly recommend it and will definitely return one day. Thank you, Massimo, for a truly special experience.

07/07/2025: Kind, friendly simple restaurant within reach of a few / a few for those who want to take a break from the stress of everyday life!!! And it knows about Tuscan cuisine / Lucca, a medieval city on a human scale where you will also find, so to speak: good food and a moment of serenity. Does that seem like little to you? Bis. Guys I'm back and the situation has improved!! Please don't miss the tortelli alla lucchese!! Unique and wonderful.
