16/07/2024: Second time here. We love it!! Gabriele is the owner, waiter, sometimes cook, will take care of you like family. His recommendations are always spot on. Traditional Italian family food. Very intimate setting, with the coolest soundtrack! This is not a place an influencer or their followers will make it to. Time and effort is spent on the food and making the visitor feel welcome. Come here to experience Florence the city not the tourist attraction!

06/07/2024: WOW! Just go! The chef (who is also the waiter) is truly a culinary genius. He has created an incredible array of dishes that are unique, yet so delicious that we went back twice just to have them again. It is a rare treat to find such a variety of dishes — meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free — that are all equally incredible. This is the place you remember, a chef who takes such pride in his work and is so personable that you feel like you made a friend by the time you leave. Believe me, you are going to want to go here! B.O.r.G.O. Firenze is a hidden gem!

21/08/2024: I have been returning to this paradise for three years now. It seems like being in Eden: where the view extends to flowers of all types, a relaxing weeping willow, geraniums, well-kept lawns. Swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas in the midst of greenery. Buffet breakfast including homemade cakes, tarts, savory dishes: all home-made including the ingredients. Comfortable beds, same pillows: meticulous cleanliness. Varied and plentiful outdoor dinner always with products from the farmhouse. Do you eat well? : in 10 days I gained 5 kilos, I could therefore say excellently. I don't want to bore you any further but the service both at breakfast and at dinner, at the reception is friendly, nice, smiling. After three years it is like being hosted in a family. 17/08/2024: Questo post o è da aggiustare perché le basi ci sono. Basterebbe ripristinare la piscina (ancora publicizzata sul sito) abbandonata, togliere quell acqua putrida da quella specie di laghetto che attira insetti di ogni tipo, aria condizionata o almeno ventole al soffitto (nelle stanze ad agosto non si può respirare). Infatti le recensioni sono buone fino ad aprile. Per non parlare della colazione ( 1 cornetto e 2 fette biscottate con marmellata e zucchero aperto. Un giorno da dimenticare. Volete mantenere le strutture e spendeteci i soldi. Per fortuna per il pranzo di ferragosto non c era posto, perché a detta di chi c era è stato un inferno

26/08/2024: Non riesco a trovare niente da ridire si questo posto, ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ambiente bello e nel fresco. Siamo stati serviti velocemente nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Personale gentile. Il cibo era molto buono e c'era una buona scelta anche di piatti vegetariani. La carne era buona, la prossima volta proverò il pesce! Alla fine 4 persone con antipasti, 3 primi un secondo, due contorni, 4 dolci e caffè abbiamo speso 100 Euro mi sembra un buon prezzo. L'unica cosa che forse posso far presente è una sola ma non ha niente a che vedere con il cibo...l'insegna del locale è quasi del tutto coperta dalla vegetazione quindi chi è di passaggio è difficile che la noti secondo me....ma per il resto....uno dei posti migliori dove ho mangiato in Garfagnana.

20/08/2024: Bel ristorante con un ampio parcheggio e con una bella vista sul lago. In questo ristorante si mangia davvero molto bene dagli antipasti ai primi fino ai secondi e ai dolci . Menzione d'onore per il piatto fantasia di mare con abbinamenti davvero ottimi e originali che si vede provengono da un grande chef.

20/08/2024: We ate at this restaurant yesterday. Excellent food, friendly and helpful waitress, generous quantities at a modest price. I recommend it.

02/08/2024: Pizza with well-balanced dough and quality products - a choice that satisfies tradition but also creativity! Tasteful furnishings and a relaxed atmosphere: this place is a small pearl near the historic center! Honorable mention to the digestibility of the pizza and the suggested Belgian beer, super! Young but prepared, smiling and caring guys! Well done!

29/07/2024: Picked up pizza from Gusto today. I was helped immediately upon arrival. The waitress who helped me spoke good English. While waiting I could see how the pizzas were made. The pizzas were really tasty. All ingredients were fresh too. The burrata was tasty and I got a lot of Parma ham with my pizza (see photo)(14.50€). The owner explained that if he were to add these ingredients now, they would become warm and the taste would be compromised. That's why I was given those ingredients in containers. My girlfriend had a pizza margherita with buffalo mozzarella, also called bufalina (9€). This was very tasty and you could taste that all the ingredients were fresh. The price-quality ratio is great in my opinion. If you are in Pisa, it is definitely recommended to get a pizza here!

18/08/2024: My partner and I went for lunch, a very nice place. The staff were fantastic, I wanted to try the tomato soup but unfortunately they had run out of portions but we were kindly offered a taste, under the chef's advice I then had the pici with tomato and garlic, fantastic, the fresh pasta and the perfect cooking (I I eat it al dente). My partner then had a Chianina tartare which was also very good. What can I say, we highly recommend this place

14/08/2024: Wonderful venue. The lady who takes the orders, the chef's wife, is a sunny, smiling person who is passionate about her work. He describes all the dishes with passion and love. The food is great. The handmade pasta, exceptional. The Chianina joke, excellent. The remarkable desserts. Price normal given the hyper tourist location. I hope to be able to return soon

27/05/2024: It was the only restaurant open during our visit. Rustic mountain atmosphere. The legs are thawed... The advantage is that it is not expensive.

05/08/2024: Splendid dinner by the sea on an elegant veranda pampered by the sea breeze and enchanted by the sky at sunset. The place is perfect, elegant but not pretentious, the service pleasant and not stiff, the staff attentive and attentive but not intrusive. It is clear that they have also invested in the preparation of the dining room staff. Well done. The dishes are simply perfect, very fresh fish prepared with style but without excess. The restaurant has an amazing food menu but also less important bottles suitable for a quiet dinner. Perhaps the greatest advantage is precisely that of being a place capable of welcoming wealthy tourists as well as normal people, thrilling both. It makes you feel good to dine at La Tana del Pirata.
