16/09/2025: I rarely give 5 stars, but this restaurant deserves every one and more!! We dined there two nights in a row. All the dishes were truly delicious! The place, although very small, is welcoming, and the staff is truly amazing, from their kindness to their culinary skill!! Congratulations! Recommended! And I recommend calling to make a reservation... I hope to return soon.

27/08/2025: The plaque on the entrance door is definitely worth a visit. One of the best restaurants in Italy. Located in the Castiglion della Pescaia castle, it has just a few tables (just how I like it), an intimate and romantic atmosphere. Excellent service and truly high-quality food. There are several off-menu items, and they're all worth trying. I recommend the seafood carbonara to anyone who enjoys it; it was delicious. When we return, we'll definitely try the grilled fish and the salt-cured fish. They were eating them at the nearby tables, and the sight alone was enough to satisfy our appetite. The desserts are also exquisite. Prices are in line with the season and the location, and the dishes are generous.

04/10/2025: I visited the restaurant for lunch. They have a vegan menu listed in their menu book but was told that none of the vegan items were available. Also they have no vegan milks for coffee - no soy milk, no oat, milk, nothing. This is very strange for a restaurant that supposedly has a vegan menu. The staff was quite unfriendly when I asked about milk alternatives for coffee. The staff acted like they did not want to be there. And there were only 2 tables in the whole restaurant. They acted like it was surprising that I asked, even when their menu listed vegan food. Nearly every bar and café in italy has at least latte di soia but not this place.

22/09/2025: I just wanted to point out that the portions of the main courses are small...the quality/price ratio is not appropriate, I'm sorry, I wouldn't go back.

01/10/2025: Was here on honeymoon staying in montecantini for a week over from ireland. food was amazing ,service atmosphere 5 star. Alberto always welcoming with a smile. The non alchol aperol drink is a must along with the pizza and pastas. Ciao dall Irlanda ❤️

15/09/2025: Our favorite place in Montecatini! The food is homemade, tasty and reasonably priced. This is the only place where my son kept ordering twice his favorite tagliatelle, each time we were there. They remembered him, so he kept getting bigger portions, whenever we return. It is owned by the nicest man in Montecatini, Alberto and his lovely family. Big hello from us, for all of them ❤️

04/10/2025: Many specialties and a wealth of culinary expertise. A place where you can find innovation and tradition. I personally loved the pizza uramaki, and a special mention goes to the pizza with amberjack and truffle... Fabulous! We'll definitely be back for more.

30/09/2025: I went to this pizzeria with my friends and it was a pleasant surprise. We started with the sushi pizza, a delicacy. Then we continued with the fried pizzas, delicious, and finished with a pizza each. The dough was soft, crumbly, and melt-in-the-mouth; it's just a shame it wasn't very flavorful. The toppings were exquisite, top-quality. We all had some digestive issues, with bloated stomachs and extreme thirst (signs of improper dough leavening/maturing). The place was very beautiful and well-kept. The staff was very kind and always available, as well as attentive. We'll be back to try other pizzas. Congratulations 👏

28/08/2025: Good food, the starters were a bit poor, the portions could be better considering the price, €18 is certainly not the extra 20-30 grams of pasta that will ruin you.

24/09/2025: Buca Lapi was the food highlight of our visit to Florence. Every element of the experience was excellent. First, the service was stellar from the moment we arrived. Our server, Franca, was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and professional. She helped us choose a wonderful bottle of wine (picture included) and explained the menu in great detail. Next, the food was amazing -- we loved the pasta (tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms), chicken cacciatore, and Florentine steak.. Make sure you visit this restaurant when you stay in Florence -- you won't regret it (especially if Franca is your server).

10/08/2025: A really nice wine tasting experience. The host will take his time explain the origin and story behind each wine which is a nice touch. You will get to sample three different wine from the local region. Our party went with a white flight and a red flight.

07/08/2025: Delicious wines and excellent cuisine. They advised us on local wines and they were perfect. Exceptional service. It's a shame we couldn't go back another day.

18/09/2025: Excellent pizza, tasty and light dough, and top-quality ingredients. The desserts are also very good; they're homemade and you can taste it. Simple and very tasty! The place is cute, with a slightly alternative feel, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the place is quite small, so the noise level gets high when it fills up (and it always seems busy). Very competitive and fair prices compared to the Pietrasanta average.

14/09/2025: Every time we come to Marina/Tonfano, at least one dinner is dedicated to them, and that was the case on Friday the 12th. The pizza is very good, the staff is friendly without being overly friendly, and the atmosphere is refined in its simplicity. Before we go home, I think we'll have another pizza... well done guys.

04/10/2025: I'm from Livorno! I had a very special event in Prato and, after a couple of other pastry shops, I found them. Simply WONDERFUL. I had requested a special cake, and from the girl I first spoke with to the owner, I was greeted with the utmost courtesy and professionalism, making the cake exactly as I'd requested. Absolutely delicious. Thank you again for making sure the birthday girl enjoyed her special celebration.

06/10/2025: Unique pizza restaurant in Lucca. Experts at fried appetizers, the battered zucchini flowers were the best I have ever had, perfectly crispy and nice and salty. The mozarella cheese balls were also light and crispy. I wanted to go back and just order 4 plates of the zucchini flowers! Interesting choice of drinks, my campari spritz was very strong, but I enjoyed it. I regretted my pizza choice though, a porchini mushroom one. It made the pizza soggy and the toppings fell off. The dough was upgraded to a charcoal one which looked impressive, I'd just recommend keeping the pizza itself simple / dry. The crust was perfect.
