28/08/2024: Standard and uncomplicated Italian cuisine - nothing more and nothing less.

27/08/2024: Ho messo 4 perché i tagliolini al tartufo sapevano un po' di poco... Ma i pici all'aglione erano strepitosi, così come anche il peposo!!!! Non sarà stato di classe ma la scarpetta l'ho fatta! Ambiente soft e camerieri gentilissimi. Ci torneremo volentieri!

25/08/2024: We had been walking around Florence on a particularly hot day and had just come down from the Piazzale Michaelangelo. It was early evening and looking for somewhere nice for dinner. Luckily we found a table for 4 outside on the pavement at this nice establishment. The young waitress who greeted us was excellent. She spoke very good English and made us feel very much at home. She had recently returned from a vacation in Bavaria which she was happy to share with us. After ordering our drinks (I had a large local draft beer) I went for a beef strip meal with parmesan & rocket. It was delicious if rather on the modest, small size. The rest of the family had pasta and salad. I convinced our daughter to try the Negroni cocktail which, we discovered was invented in Florence. A fact that our waitress didn't know! It was delicious - packed full of alcohol. The chilled bottled water was a reasonable 2,00€ and the ubiquitous cover charge was only 1,50€ per person. In all, we left 60,00€ for the four of us which I thought was great given the fact that we were in Florence! Oh, and both our tired and hot dogs were well tolerated here. They offered some water which they lapped up thirstily.

09/08/2024: We found Tarocchi as we were descending the hill lookout, and were trying to find a place to eat. We were welcomed by friendly staff, who kindly served us in English. Food was excellent. Very good priced, with a separate menu for gluten free options. Atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend for a meal anytime, but especially after some decent walking.

07/08/2024: Small restaurant in the center of Arezzo, well looked after, good service with excellent culinary offerings. If you are looking for traditional Tuscan cuisine this is not the right place. Many vegetarian dishes with fresh products and cuisine with well-balanced flavours. We went for lunch. There is a limited à la carte menu, but we were fully satisfied. Well done

20/08/2024: The restaurant is now a fixed stop on every trip, easy to reach from the A1 exit, pici with white Chianina ragù TOP, the meat and starters are also excellent. Now a MUST!! Always full!

04/09/2024: We went here for dinner with friends. Nice place, service a little slow, but wide choice of pizzas and all good (you can also eat starters/first and second courses!).

18/08/2024: A place with clear ambitions... and which would certainly have significant potential... but where there is a lot to review. We booked and arrived promptly at 8.30pm ... but they took our order only after a good 15 - 20 minutes of waiting ... and in any case after several and repeated looks of disapproval towards the waitress, because they hadn't yet asked us if in the in the meantime we wanted at least some water or bread. The starters finally arrived at 9.15pm: both the seared octopus and the sardines were very good. When at 10pm we were almost about to give up on the first courses and were about to get up, they finally arrived... decidedly too late: the gnocchi were good, even if not very hot... it was a pity that the octopus in the pasta was so spicy that it completely hid the taste of the octopus itself! We felt embarrassed when they asked us if everything was going well and did we want dessert or coffee. The owner, who took the order and brought us the dishes, never apologized for the delays, not even at the checkout. We had high expectations but instead we were deeply disappointed: sometimes it would be better to behave less and/or do as other places in the area do which, for the same price, with greater simplicity and concreteness are much more satisfying!

14/08/2024: Siamo arrivati in questa trattoria molto accogliente dove abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Le portate a partire dalle polpettine come antipasto, primi, secondi, contorni e dolci a lasciarci senza parole per la bontà .. da notare i titolari di questa trattoria come curano il loro locale in ogni piccolo dettaglio . Sicuramente se avremo occasione torneremo visto che siamo arrivati lì per caso tornando verso casa nostra, l'aquila...grazie per questa bellissima esperienza!

31/08/2024: Very unfriendly waiters, we booked a table 3 days in advance, they seated us at the very entrance, right on the road, the restaurant is empty, they do not agree to seat us closer to the center, they say everything is busy, all the appetite has already disappeared after such an attitude towards the guests, we eat and I will never come back here again and do not recommend it to anyone!!!!! The service must be decent, if you have an empty restaurant, and you fundamentally cannot change a table of three people to another table of 3 people when everything is free, your restaurant is worthless!!!!!!

15/07/2024: Excellent Fiorentina meat cooked in the fireplace, refined and tasty tartare and polenta tasting starter. Bottle of wine 12 euros of very good quality equivalent here in France to 35 euros. Concluded by a very friendly boss and waiters who were responsive to our requests. Reserved parking, warm interior of the restaurant, exterior terrace a little less due to the passing of cars nearby. I highly recommend.

15/08/2024: True, lively and good. They don't skimp on quantity, are very understanding of customer needs and aim to please people as much as possible. Ample space outside to enjoy the squash or tortelli al fresco. How beautiful :)

19/08/2024: Dinner as a couple for the first time in this restaurant overlooking the sea; unfortunately due to the strong wind it was not possible to have the meal on the balcony. Definitely good dishes, we highly recommend the fish marinated with Tropea onion (second photo) and the sliced ​​tuna (third photo). In the first photo it is a tuna tartare while in the last you can see a semifreddo with crunchy cheese. The bill was around €125, taking into account that we had a fried dish to share (excellent breading; light and not at all greasy), a €25 bottle of wine as well as 2 coffees and bitters. Thanks for the pleasant evening

19/08/2024: What can I say, excellent fresh and well cooked food. Delightful location. Their Isolana-style sea bass with baked vegetables is special, as delicious as the one I cook at home in foil and which I can never appreciate anywhere. Believe me, it's a really nice compliment. I'll be back for sure.
