30/03/2026: About thirty kilometers from Florence, along quiet roads and relaxing countryside, this long-established trattoria maintains its standard of traditional Tuscan cuisine with a few rather pleasant "reinterpretations." Portions are generous, but mezze is also available. Today, tagliatelle with broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes, and salted ricotta cheese is worthy of praise. Then scamerita stew in red wine with onion and aromatic herbs, and more... with Prosecco, mineral water, bread, and coffee. No-frills dining, lively service, sometimes noisy when crowded, regulars, families, and a few foreigners drawn by word of mouth. Fair prices (the Florentine steak, for example, is priced at 45 euros per kilo, compared to a low of 60 euros per kilo in nearby Florence, which ranges from a high of 140 euros). P.S. Given the beautiful day, we then climbed to the 1000 meters of the Villombrosa Abbey, and then to the Consuma Pass, with snow starting at 700 meters. Exceptional on March 28th in a nativity scene landscape. Excellent itinerary, especially in summer, very relaxing and cool, especially when the temperatures in the plains are 30-40 degrees.

23/03/2026: The meat wasn't good, it was worse, much better!!! A divine cut! Perfectly cooked. We'll definitely come back here!

18/10/2025: In mid-October, we stopped at this small, rural, yet very authentic restaurant for a snack while traveling. It was supposed to be just a quick bite, but they served the whole package, from appetizer to dessert. Delicious handmade pasta, and the bread was amazing! The wine and dessert were also highly recommended. Despite communication issues, the staff were always attentive and understanding. We'd love to come back!

06/02/2026: Our favorite place since they opened. From appetizers to desserts, everything is divine! The pizzas are fabulous, the one with freshly grated truffle on top is special. The owners are always very kind and the atmosphere, especially the outdoor one, is wonderful. Dining with a view of the illuminated castle is a magical atmosphere. 10 out of 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

27/01/2026: They use a lot of spices, and the flavor of the fish was completely lost; it was as if I were eating a mix of spices. I wish Italian culinary tradition were more important than the appearance of the food. The tiramisu had no flavor, and the biscuit inside was completely dry. I've never had such a bad tiramisu. I don't recommend it👎

08/02/2026: A restaurant worth trying. Excellent food, original dishes with well-crafted combinations, a very nice place, even though we were there on a cloudy and rainy day, and welcoming staff. We plan to return in the warmer months. Highly recommended.

30/03/2026: Orgasm! Tagliata di Manzo 12/10 - Argentina could shine this one. A wonderful family place with great wine, atmosphere, and food. A bit out of the city center, instead of stiff tablecloths, they use a unique, atmospheric disposable coverlet. Delicious homemade food in homemade quantities. Highly recommended!

This isn't just a sandwich shop; you'll find wonderful, unique and delicious appetizers, complete dishes, unique desserts, and incredibly delicious pinsas. I wanted to try everything. 14/12/2025: We stopped at the "Grazie Rosa" sandwich shop after a tough match: we couldn't have chosen a better way to eat! Incredible sandwiches and a wide selection of gluten-free beers (with an exclusive Christmas version); the lager was also very good. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming: when we return to Prato, we'll definitely know where to go for lunch! ♥️♥️♥️

04/11/2025: Had an excellent meal with a group. The service was superb with the manager being incredibly hospitable and welcoming. She made sure we were looked after while we were waiting for a late arrival. The food itself with superb, the arancini special antipasto and rabbit secondi were exceptional. All of the group agreed that this was the best restaurant we'd eaten at during our many visits to Certaldo.
