22/07/2025: I often eat at this restaurant for work. Hands down, it's the best restaurant I've found in Florence. The prices are more than fair, and the food and drinks are always top-quality. The service and cleanliness are impeccable. The people who work there are absolutely excellent, from the waiters to the chefs and the owners, always on duty and ready to welcome anyone who wants to stop for a refreshing break. I always recommend this place to everyone because they've never disappointed me. Be wary of any negative comments; I live an hour away from Florence and am here almost every day for work, and I can confirm that Ristorante Pizzeria Canto De' Nelli is the best you'll find in central Florence. 22/07/2025: We enjoyed our food at this restaurant. It was in the city of florence which can be reached by walking there or taking the bus. The restaurant has specially set up watersprays for this hot weather. That was so cooling and was the best part of the restaurant. If you want an italian restaurant with an cooling setting, then this is the right place. Go and enjoy 😉

21/07/2025: Well, well, well, everything was excellent: we tried delicious appetizers, first courses, and second courses...even the coffee, which is always the Achilles heel of places where you eat really well, is commendable. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the service is attentive but never intrusive. The only shame is that it was a scorching hot day, but that's certainly not the place's fault; I'm not sure if they offer outdoor dining during certain times/seasons. I'll be back.

02/06/2025: I found a beautiful, very well-managed facility, a welcoming room, a swimming pool with a lawn, a plentiful breakfast and an excellent restaurant. Mrs. Cristina was very kind. The big problem that occurred during our three-day stay was the disturbance of 12 boys and girls from Alto Adige who rented a holiday home next to the hotel. For three days, from morning to night, blasting techno music, shouting and shouting, and insults to those who protested ruined a stay that would otherwise have been perfect. I never write reviews on Google, only on the portals where I make the reservation (in this case Booking) because often those on are not verified. This time I did it also because one of the twelve, a girl, not satisfied with her rudeness, thought of being cruel and giving the most negative review she could (without any comment, just a rating, what could she write, perhaps that she pissed me off and all the guests for three days?)...

26/05/2025: I was a guest of Sicomoro for 5 days in mid-May. I had a great time in this quiet place and in its excellent restaurant! Delicious genuine traditional food at km 0, cooked by the owner Cristina, who with her friendliness and warm hospitality really makes the difference! I absolutely recommend and I hope to return!

11/07/2025: The location, staff, cocktails, and food are excellent. Perfect spot for breakfast and after-dinner drinks on weekends. Located away from residential areas, it's suitable for loud music without disturbing others.

27/07/2025: Beautiful cafe hidden in the hills, with a great view when sitting outside. Pastries were great aswell!

24/07/2025: Truly a gem. Simply fantastic. Attentive and friendly service, the waitress understood and guided. You gaze at the magnificent view. Then the Roma arrives and it's almost as beautiful as the view. The truffle is absurd, the menu is limited but it makes you understand that what little they do, they do it properly with that touch of class. The coup de grace, the Torta del Nonno, was a total blast but left us extremely happy, complete with homemade pistachio gelato. Perfect coffee. What can I say... unforgettable! Thank you ❤️

31/07/2025: Ottimo posto dove cenare in quel di Porto Azzurro. Abbiamo preso due antipasti e due primi a dir poco squisiti. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante per chi cerca ottima cucina e un'accoglienza come a casa propria. Super consigliato

15/07/2025: A delightful place run by a wonderful owner, Moira! The apartment is spacious and is next to the farm where you'll find an incredible collection of chickens and a wild boar farm. The restaurant run by Moira in the agriturismo, open on certain days of the week, is REALLY worth a visit. It's delicious! They cook wonderfully with local produce, including the pork raised on site... and the homemade desserts are delicious...

13/07/2025: A bucolic place, nestled in the green Tuscan hills. On Sundays, we enjoyed the "convivio" menu, a fixed menu with three options: classic, vegetarian, and gluten-free. Seasonal, high-quality local products and generous portions (very, very). One of those places where you could stay for hours, enjoying the view and chatting with friends. The staff was truly kind and attentive. The prices were very fair. We'll definitely be back.

13/07/2025: The best Tuscany has to offer; situated in a fantastic location, overlooking the typical rolling Tuscan landscape. Delicious food, excellent wines. Nothing more to wish for! Highly recommended. Life is beautiful!

13/07/2025: In my opinion, one of the best pizzerias in the entire Lucca area. Welcoming staff where kindness and smiles are a hallmark, pizza with delicate flavors: the excellent quality of the ingredients and the masterful dough making make it an explosion of... flavor! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an extraordinary high-quality pizza experience. Excellent value.

02/08/2025: they have a pretty vague menu but it was super difficult to find online because there were more than tree, the prices of the pizzas were definitely to high too.

03/07/2025: I wasn't thrilled with it, it's lost a lot since the day it opened.

04/06/2025: Lunch, four people and two dogs. Everything was excellent. Tuscan platter with truffle salami. Pasta with almonds. Good house wine. We'd be happy to go again.

03/06/2025: I was actually expecting the ingredients to be excellent, being in a village, but at least on the day we went we were disappointed. They charged us almost three euros per person for bread, which we didn't try. I'm editing this review to explain: I can't know if I like bread if I haven't tried it. In any case, the food I ordered (3 dishes) wasn't what I expected; it could simply have been a bad day.

16/07/2025: During our July vacation in Maremma (recommended by our friend Fabrizio), we dined at Goccetto, a quaint restaurant in the center of Campiglia. Both the exterior and interior are exquisitely decorated with attention to detail. You can enjoy quality dishes. The welcoming atmosphere and tranquility of the place are much appreciated. Highly recommended.

14/07/2025: Enrico is a guarantee. He hosted us for our wedding reception, and we had a wonderful time, treating our guests to delicious traditional dishes. Plus, the location is a great way to escape the heat in the summer!

09/07/2025: The location is beautiful and the building is welcoming. The staff is kind and professional, attentive to all your needs. The restaurant is also good, offering a selection of high-quality local products. If I may offer one suggestion, the rooms, which are showing signs of age, could be updated a bit.

09/06/2025: Walking through the streets of the center of Florence, we came across this family-run tripe shop, attracted by the desire to taste one of the most authentic specialties of Florentine street food: lampredotto. The owners welcomed us with great kindness and, during the wait, they passionately told us the history of lampredotto and their business, making the experience even more fascinating. And what about the lampredotto and the boiled meat? Simply exceptional! So good that we went back three times in just two days. A must-see place for those who want to taste the true flavors of Tuscan tradition.
