07/04/2026: La Chiusa was an amazing place for vacation. Extremely relaxing, and the service was great. The staff worked with me leading up to the trip to plan a great itinerary. I highly recommend the ATV tour and the cooking class. The views are gorgeous.

12/01/2026: We had an amazing time at La Chuisa, being very new to Italy, the staff were very helpful, especially Andrea who went above and beyond to look after us. The views and location amazing! Close to the little village of Montefellonico. The cooking class with Nonna was so memorable! Our only issues was when we called the hotel for assistance and couldn’t get a hold of them a couple of times, Also no tea and coffee in the room.

25/03/2026: Casual bar by the sea. Fast friendly service at lunch. A perfect spaghetti with anchovy, tomato and crumbs. Good selection of decent wines by the glass. Great value. Couldn’t be better located.

15/03/2026: Visited for a pre-lunch aperitif near the sea. Well-made cocktails, reasonable prices for the area.

23/12/2025: It was a small little place but the food was out of expectation. I ordered the grilled seabass, gnocchi salmon, carbonara and tiramisu. My favorite out of all is the carbonara. It's simple yet flavorful. I think I would probably missed this place if I didn't see the reviews. The only thing that caught me off guard was the water charges. Even though my group only got 1 bottle of water, the restaurant charge €3 person. There's also a 10-15% charge for the lights and stuff, similar to taxes.

22/10/2025: We discovered it while passing through Pieve al Toppo (AR), and we ate divinely. The atmosphere was quiet, the menu excellent, and the staff extremely efficient. Excellent value. We'll be back to try the steak, even though it's almost 90 km to get there and back, but it's definitely worth it.

Thanks to Salvatore, who welcomed us warmly, and Manuela, who captivated our palates in the kitchen. 🤪 We ordered a menu with a first course, second course, and side dish, and we ate every dish with gusto. I would definitely return.

16/11/2025: Really good food. Typical Tuscan cuisine, and in autumn there are many variations of mushrooms and truffles, all of which are truly top-quality. The gnocchi and the various types of tagliata were delicious, and the pistachio dessert was also delicious. The place was very clean and well-kept. The staff was attentive and friendly.

24/10/2025: Extremely pleasant venue The dishes convey a sense of special attention to quality, starting with the raw ingredients. The flavors are delicate (I tried the rice with seafood ragù, delicious and flawless. Personally, it could have used a little more character, but it was excellent nonetheless). The menu features unusual offerings. The service is quick, courteous, and very friendly, as well as willing to clarify and accommodate special requests. The venue is very well-maintained, with clean and well-maintained bathrooms (I must say, we were only a few customers). The location is excellent, a building on stilts on the beach; dining outside is accompanied by the sound of the waves. For those who prefer to sit inside, I greatly appreciated the choice of background music, which helps you relax and isolate yourself without interrupting conversation. I visited the restaurant during the week in October, so parking wasn't an issue. The prices are high, consistent with the service.

19/10/2025: First visit and impressed by the quality and sensuality Anyone passing through San Vincenzo should definitely stop by here. The location of the restaurant "Il Bucaniere," north of the harbor on stilts by the sea, offers a wonderful place to relax with a variety of visual impressions and culinary delights. The delicious Campari Spritz prepared us well for the evening. For starters, we chose tuna tartare, and for me, tuna with red cabbage and mayo. For main course, the fish of the day, spigola, served with saffron vegetables and avocado tomato salad. The Serre Nuove 14.5% from Ornellaia was the perfect wine accompaniment for us. We also had delicious ice cream with our coffee. And don't forget, here you can get fresh bread, just like we Swiss love. The quality and service of the food completely convinced us, and we will definitely return. Although I don't have the receipt, the price/performance ratio was right for us – upscale but definitely worth the price. The ambiance is wonderfully perfect for us country folk. The friendly and courteous service fulfilled all our requests, such as seeking shade, a slightly stronger Campari Spritz, and a more leisurely pace. Next time, we palefaces will make sure we don't sit in the front line in the sun, but rather in a shady area. There's plenty of parking nearby. All I can say is: "See you soon!"

13/02/2026: The employees were kind and helpful, but the service was extremely slow, the pizza was frozen with low-quality ingredients that for the price offered did not meet expectations.

15/01/2026: Yesterday, my whole family went out for pizza. My sister is vegan and received excellent service. It's the first time since we arrived in Italy that she's been able to eat a decent pizza. The rest of us were also very happy; the pizzas were delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. The waiter was especially kind.

22/10/2025: …on the occasion of my trip to Tuscany!!…with a group of people!!…from an agency in my city!!…I stopped for lunch here!!…at the “Il Portico” farmhouse!!…so I am in Capalbio!!…and I am precisely three kilometers away!!…and this structure is located!!…in a quiet location!!…immersed in the wonderful nature of the Tuscan Maremma!!…I was served a good appetizer!!…a good first course!!…followed by the second course and then a fantastic tiramisu!!…all typical products!!…with the true flavor of Tuscany!!…dishes brought to the table by the owner!!…he did everything!!…zero waiting time!!…what can I say!!…I ate really well!!…here at the “Il Portico” farmhouse!!…the authentic dishes of Tuscan cuisine!!…yes!!!…I would gladly go back again!!…🍽️🎉👌💯🔝⬆️‼️
